IIT Guwahati Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: As, you know IIT Guwahati has 7th rank on the nirf table. The placements are too good like, in 2020 84% students of my branch got placed in top companies like tata steel, IBM, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys etc. The highest package was 81 lacs/annum and the lowest was 14 lacs/annum. The mechanical branch in IIT Guwahati has great concepts, projects and much more. They mainly focus on innovation, new ideas that is why all students like this course.

Placements: From chemical branch around 65-70 percent got placed. The average salary offered is 15 Lacs. Student can get jobs in other field also if they have done preparation. There are many more internship opportunities. Like from SAIL, and many other also summer internship.

Placements: Around 90% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 45 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The average salary package offered was 20 LPA. Almost 25% of the students got internships in different companies both in core as well as non core sectors. Top companies like Bajaj, Uber, and Nutanix visit the campus. Data analyst and engineer are the roles offered.

Placements: IIT Guwahati is a college with great placement opportunities. Around 89% of the electrical department students got placed last year. Microsoft, Oracle, HCL, Myntra, Dream11 and many more companies are recruiting students from IITG. The average salary package offered is around 15 LPA. Overall, the highest package offered is 70 LPA. We can assure good placements from IITG.

Placements: More than 80% of students in the mechanical engineering department in IIT Guwahati got placed in 2020-2021. It's so much massive in itself. All the top companies participated like PSU. In other branches also, the placements are phenomenal. Overall, around 87% of students from the whole B.Tech got placed this year.

Placements: Placements are great. The institute has maintained 90% of placement every year. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. There are top salary packages and placements, and students only need to maintain CGPA and crack interviews. Top roles are also offered, so there is nothing to be worried about salary package and placements.

Placements: About 63.63% of students from engineering physics got placed, i.e., about 14 students out of 22 students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 30 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 7 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 13 LPA. Top recruiting companies which hired students from engineering physics include Amazon, Walmart, Paytm, WikiKey, ICICI Bank, etc. Top roles offered include software developer, business analyst, management trainee, etc.

Placements: 26 out of 29 students got placed with an average package of 16 LPA. Other students went for further studies in various colleges across the world. Roles offered are data analyst, data scientist, SDE, product manager, quant role, sales manager, marketing executive and some non-tech roles. The top recruiting companies include Facebook, Google, Amazon, JPMC, Quadeye and many others.

Placements: About 60% of the students from our course got placed, while others chose to study further. The highest salary package offered here is over 1 crore per annum, and the average salary package offered would be around 20 LPA. Microsoft and Goldman Sachs are the top recruiters for our course. Around 45%-65% of the students get internships. Roles offered here vary from team head directly to manager level posts. Many students opt to become entrepreneurs by establishing their own startups.

Placements: Approximately 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 31 LPA by Schlumberger India, and the lowest salary package offered is 8 LPA by Shimizu. Top recruiting companies are Schlumberger, Razorpay and PhonePe. Students got internships in companies like EXL, Zomato and Citibank. Top roles offered are a software developer and business analyst.

Placements: Around 40% of the students got placed in the biotechnology branch. However, in other departments like computer science and electrical, around 90% of the students got placed. Mostly students of biotechnology department went for a PhD in India or abroad. The average salary package offered is 9 LPA.

Placements: Our CSE batch has 100% placements for the last 4 years. This is a very significant statistic. Microsoft Redmond, Uber US, Tower Research Capital, Goldman Sachs, IBM, and Google. High salary packages were offered at IITs. I think Microsoft Redmond offered highest salary package at any IIT. Everybody got an internship.

Placements: This year there were a lot of international offers from countries like USA, Singapore, Japan. The placement team is very helpful and tries their level best to bring companies for new roles. The number of profiles for which companies come have also increased significantly.

Placements: Almost every student got placed within a few days from the beginning of the placement season. The highest salary package offered here is 7 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. GS, Tower Research, Microsoft, Adobe, Samsung, Deloitte, Ola, Uber, Oyo, Jaguar, ISRO, Amazon, Myntra, IBM and American Express are the top recruiting companies for our course. Software developer engineer and machine learning are the top roles offered here.

Placements: About 20% of the students from our course got placed, and many students opt for higher studies like PhD. L&T company visit our college for placements. None of the students applied for an internship. You can become a traffic engineer or highway engineer by studying this course.

Placements: Being one of the older IITs, placements at IIT Guwahati are top notch. Companies from various profiles (e. g Software Development,. Consulting, business development, core) visit during the placement season. The placement percentage is greater than 95% for B.Tech, while 70% considering all the courses.

Placements: There are no issues with placements in the CSE department which is one of the most sought after schemes for most of the students nowadays leading to greater than 90% placement. In domestic companies, the highest salary package offered was around 40 LPA while the international salary package offered was around 210K USD. The lowest salary package offered varies from 5 LPA - 6 LPA and the average salary package offered was around 20 LPA - 25LPA. The major roles offered were as a software engineer, ...

Placements: A very good percentage of students get placed in the B.Tech course. The average salary package offered in B. Tech branch was around 8 LPA. Microsoft, GS, Samsung, Amazon and Tower Research Capital were among top recruiting companies from our campus. A similar percentage of students got internships, although it was lower as compared to the placements for branches other than computer science, maths and computing.

Placements: Almost 95% of the students from our department got placed from college. The highest salary package offered is 2 crores 14 LPA by Microsoft and Raymond. The average salary package offered was 15 LPA. Most of the students went for a software engineer role.

Placements: Over 90% of students were placed in my course. The highest package was an international offer of around 1.3 Crores per annum, the lowest was somewhere around 6LPA, the average was around 25 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Uber, etc. Over 80% of students had got an internship from my course in the above-mentioned companies itself.
