Placements: IIT GUWAHATI has one of the best placement ratios amongst all IITs. And amazingly, my branch is the highest percentage-wise placed in IIT Guwahati. 95 percent of students in the Mathematics and Computing branch were placed last year, while 90 percent of Computer Science students were placed.

Placements: In our college, the placement rate is nearly 93%, with our branch placement rate being 70%. Along with this, we have an average package of around 26 LPA. Students are hired for various roles like SDE, product manager, consultant, etc., from various top companies.

Placements: Around 60% of students in the B.Tech in EP are placed, which is less. Because most of the students do not sit for placements as they are more enthusiastic towards research or higher studies. Companies like Goldman Sachs, Texas Instruments, Walmart, Zomato, and Microsoft recruit students. Placements: Very good placements are provided to students from all branches. A lot of companies visit campus which helps many good students get placed. Even students with not very good CPI but great skills get placed. The average salary package of chemical engineering offered is good with 22 LPA. Around 88% of students got placed.

Placements: This is relatively a new branch but has a great scope of placements and internships. In recent years, good amount of students have secured their early internships and placements from this branch. It is comparable to Computer Science engineering and foster's a potential of being the Next pumped-up sector and branch.

Placements: In civil engineering branch, very few students get placements outside of the core sector. Most students opt for core positions, while others prepare for government services. Companies like L&T and some others come for placements in the core sector. Mainly, students strive to secure SDE (Software Development Engineer) jobs. They engage in coding and teach projects to enhance their chances of placement. Additionally, finance companies also come for quantitative and other roles.

Placements: Around 98% of people were placed from my course. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Qualcomm, etc. Around 50% got internships from campus and the top roles offered are software development, consulting, and data analyst roles. In the core also, there are so many roles.

Placements: Approximately 85% of individuals have been placed, with the highest salary being around 50 or 40 LPA. The median salary is estimated to be around 10 or 12 LPA, and there are diverse roles available across various fields. This offers a wide range of opportunities, allowing individuals to choose different aspects of their day-to-day lives. Moreover, there are global prospects that provide immense knowledge and growth potential.

Placements: In my branch, 50% have been placed till phase 1 for the 2024 batch. Overall, placement is not good for this batch, mainly due to the recession and some politics carried out by the placement coordinators who are from the 4th year. They favor their own friends for interviews and provide assistance to them during tests.

Placements: The average salary package offered is 6 LPA to 15 LPA. The salary depends upon work experience, academic performance, and company requirements. The highest salary package offered is 44 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Larsen & Toubro, TCS, Adani Group, WSP, etc., visit our campus. Top roles offered are design engineer, project engineer, and construction engineer. Almost 85% of students get internships.

Placements: According to the placement statistics of our college, placements are good. Many students got good salary packages. One of our seniors recently received an international package of 2.4 CPA. The highest domestic salary package was 1.1 CPA.

Placements: At our college, almost 95.1% of students are placed. Top recruiting companies like Google, Goldman Sachs, Uber, Microsoft, Apple, JP Morgan, Chase, etc., visit our campus. Top roles offered are software developer, telecom engineer, R&D software engineer, and data scientist. The highest salary package offered is 1.2 crore PA. Placements: In our branch, The average salary package offered was 23 LPA the previous year. The lowest salary package offered was 8 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 70 LPA. In the batch of 63 students, 24 got internships during their 3rd year of college and 45 got in their 4th year of college which is quite a good ratio. Placements: The percentage of students who get placements is pretty good. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The top recruiting companies like Dalmia, Gammon, etc., visit our college for placements. Our college also offers good roles. Rest there are no such issues with the placement cell.

Placements: About 90% of the students from our course get placed. Most of the students opt for IT companies. Good IT companies visit the college for placements. Paid internships are available for students, and we learn from them. There are also exchange programs.

Placements: This year, about 30% of students from our course get an internship. Companies visit our college to hire students from different parts of India. Only those people are selected who satisfy their condition. We have to struggle a lot in this field to get a good job.

Placements: I am from chemical engineering branch. About 75- 80 percent students got placed from our course. Some reputed companies like reliance, GFSC, GNFC, GACL, ect. offer jobs with suitable packages. Maximum package from our core branch is 20 lac per annum. And also most of the students got job in coding and have done extra course preparation also.

Placements: I am from electrical and electrical engineering branch. About 70-80% of the students from our course get placed. Popular companies like Google and Microsoft offer jobs with a suitable salary package. Students complete their course enthusiastically, that's why they are very suitable for industries. So, students are a favourite of many companies and industries.

Placements: The placement for my course was 100%. All the student who sat in placement got placed. Companies like Microsoft, Google visited the campus for recruitment. There were also international offers including Microsoft, Uber etc. The roles offered were software developer, data scientist and analyst.

Software development engineer (SDE), Business analyst roles were offered. 5. 1.5 crores, 10lakhs,18lakhs was the ralary range offered to our dept. 6.50% were offered internship. Internship companies are: DeShaw, LinkedIn, Microsoft, jpmc, samsung, Flipkart, amazon, citi, tower research.
