 The institute is ranked 30 among the top colleges of India under the “Engineering” category by NIRF in 2022 rankings. During IIT Jodhpur placements in 2022, the median and average package offered to BTech CSE students was INR 28.7 LPA and INR 28 LPA, respectively. The top recruiters of IIT Jodhpur in 2022 included Accenture, Amazon, IBM, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Adobe, etc.

 Admission to the course is entrance-based. Aspirants are required to take JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The selected students based on merit in JEE Advanced further have to participate in JoSAA rounds of counselling. The seat allotment process is then carried out as per performance in counselling and other selection rounds.

IIT Jodhpur BTech Cutoff 2024 is determined on the basis of candidates' performace in JEE Advanced. The JEE Advanced Cutoff is released category-wise for admission to IIT Jodhpur. As per the official website, the tuition fee for BTech at IIT Jodhpur is INR 8 lakh. In addition, the hostel fee and one-time payment is INR 1.52 lakh and INR 11,800, respectively. The given tuition fee is calculated on the basis of the first year/semester. Hence, the actual fee may vary. The application procedure for some of the popular courses at IIT Jodhpur is as follows:

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. Candidates seeking admission to the BSc at IIT Jodhpur must meet the minimum IIT Jodhpur BSc eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 examination in relevant stream from a recognised board can get admission to the BSc programme offered at IIT Jodhpur.

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately.
