IIT Patna Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: The placement is excellent. Out of 12 students, 7 students got placed in companies and institutes. The average salary package was around 7 lakhs and the highest package was around 12 lakhs. The students did their internship and received a stipend of Rs. 15000-Rs. 18000.

The average salary package was around 8 lakh and the highest package was around 10 lakh. The students went for an internship. They were getting a stipend around Rs. 25000-40000.

Placements: The placement was neither excellent nor too bad. Out of 10 students, 5 students got placed in companies. The average salary package was around 5.5 lakhs and the highest package was around 10 lakhs. The students who went for the internship were getting a stipend of around Rs. 15000-18000.

Placements: Placements are good for CSE branch and average for EE branch. Almost everyone got placed in CSE, whereas in EE, 70% got placed(almost IT companies). Placements: Our batch had a placement percentage of 95% as 114 out of 120 people in our batch got placed. The total placements rolled out were 159. The highest package offered was 1.5 crores per annum, the least was 6 lakhs per annum, and the average salary of batch turned out to be 8.5 lakhs per annum. Placements: The placements are not good for the civil department, but other branches such as CS and EE are doing terrific. The placements for the civil department is poor may be caused because the current batch is the very first batch for B.Tech and also our population is quite low, so very few core companies are interested in coming to campus for recruitment.

Placements: The placements for our senior batch were good, but the placements for my batch are average right now, although a few students got placed in the core companies. Placements: The placements for computer science were good, with one of seniors getting into Google. Then there were Microsoft, Amazon, Arista Networks, Samsung, UHG, IVP and various startups, in which almost 95% of CSE students were placed. The placement for electrical and mechanical were mostly dependent on PSUs like Bharat Petroleum, Coal India etc. Mechanical also had companies like TATA Motors, Mahindra etc.

Placements: Placements were excellent for the last year. About 95% percent students who sat in the campus placements got placed. Good news about IIT Patna, its transit campus is now ready to shift to its permanent campus (in July 2015) first new IIT to shift. Spread over 500 acres, IIT-Patna is one of the beautiful and well architecture campuses in India. It is overall top among the new IITs. Last year placement was overall good in terms of company and students. Placements: The percentage of CSE department is much higher than all other departments there is much greater chances for getting placement in CSE department as well as in civil there is much opportunity for getting placement. And for other departments there is also good chances of getting placement offers in very good companies .

Placements: I do not know the exact data as the institute does not publish it, here is what I know based on college chatter. Almost all students who SAT for placements were placed. Many had to take somewhat low packages because of recession. The highest on campus package is 55 Lacs, offered to 6 or 7 students. Top companies are Atlacian, DeShaw, etc.

Placements: More than 80% of the students are placed here. The highest package is 1.32 crore, the lowest package is 9 Lacs and average package is 18 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are BSPCL, SQL and TCS. More than 60% of the students have internship in third year.

Placements: Placements are IITs are always Amazing, but knowing the fact that this is a new course by iit patna As per NEP 2020, i do not have any data as i am in the first year of BBA course! The officials of IITP have said we will get internships and 100% placement assistance as well.

Placements: The course newly launched so at that time no one placed in any company but in other courses the avg of last year is about 22 Lacs And approximately 80% are placed. Many student got internship in different companies. Top recruitment companies are different company.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 60 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Jaguar, Tata, Google, Trilogy, Microsoft, Samsung, ONGC, etc. Around 50% of students got internships in this course. Top role offered is project designer.
