Step 2: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button to proceed further.

Step 3: The registration page opens up. Click on ‘New User Register Here'. Register by entering a few basic details such as name, email ID, contact number, course preference, etc. Also, create a password for logins.

Step 4: Complete the rest of the application form by entering additional details, including guardian information, communication address, and educational qualifications.

Step 5: Upload the necessary documents in PDF format. Additionally, attach a passport-size photograph and your signature in JPG/JPEG format.

Step 6: Pay the application fee using a debit card/credit card/net banking to submit the application.

IIT Ropar - Indian Institute of Technology will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to BTech The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

According to unofficial sources, the total tuition fee for the BTech programme at IIT Ropar is INR 8 lakh. To be eligible for admission to a BTech course, a candidate should have completed their Class 12 education and secured at least 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) subjects. This implies that the student must have obtained 75% or higher in the combined total of their Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics scores in their Class 12 exams.  IIT Ropar provides a comprehensive four-year undergraduate BTech programme. Admission to the BTech programme at IIT Ropar is determined entirely through an entrance examination. Specifically, IIT Ropar BTech admission relies on the JEE Advanced score, which is attained by candidates who have already qualified in the JEE Main exam. The central admission process for all IITs is coordinated by JoSAA, a centralised authority that administers seat allocation for candidates who have successfully cleared the JEE Advanced exam.

IIT Ropar offers admission to its four-year BTech course through a valid score in JEE followed by JoSAA counseling. Candidates can apply for the respective exams and after clearing the examination, proceed with the seat allotment process. The seat allotment process is done through a computerized process called the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Candidates are allotted seats based on their rank, preferences, and availability of seats. The cut off rank in Round 6 for BTech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering is 2496 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota.
