IIT Roorkee BTech cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. Based on the Round 5 seat allotment, the BTech cutoff scores ranged between 481 and, 7286 for the General AII India category students. In order to get admission for BTech course at IIT Roorkee, students are required to apply via JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced application. The process of application for JEE Mains consists of three steps, i.e registration, form filling & documents upload followed by payment of application fees. Followed by JEE Main, students are required to register for  JEE Advanced. For this, candidates have to first login with their JEE Main 2025 application number and password. Next candidates have to fill in the registration form, upload scanned certificates, and pay the application fee. The photo and signature in the online JEE Advanced application form will be already populated from the JEE Main application form.

To be eligible for MBA programme offered at IIT Roorkee, candidates need to possess a graduation degree/ professional qualification in any stream from a UGC-recognised university with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates). Final year students are also eligible to apply. The course is offered by the B-school under IIT Roorkee, namely DOMS IIT Roorkee. 

IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

For GEN and OBC students having annual family income between Rs. 1 Lacs and Rs. 5 lakh: 2/3rd waiver in tuition fee. Only 33.33% of tuition fee need to be paid.

For GEN and OBC students having annual family income above Rs. 5 Lacs or those students who are not desirous of obtaining fee waiver or have not submitted income certificate: Full tuition fee need to be paid.
