IIT Roorkee Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Almost 80% of our students land jobs after graduation. The highest salary package is around 60-70 Lacs rupees per annum (LPA), while the lowest is about 6-7 LPA. Most students average around 11-12 LPA. We've got some big-name recruiters like Tata Motors, BMW, and General Electric snapping up our students! Internships are also a breeze, with about 60% of students scoring them. Siemens and Tata Steel are some of the top companies that offer internships to our students.

Placements: In the middle of the 7th semester, company tests are started. Many big companies came to our college for placements like Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Samsung, JLR, Nvidia, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Intel, American Express, etc. So this year, nearly about 900 offers were made by different companies. The highest package is of 1.5 crores and the average is about 25 lakhs. So this year nearly about 1600 students are sitting for placements but only 800-900 got placements till now. Placements: Out of 174 students, nearly 100 get placed every year. This information was not provided to us. Companies such as Google Silicon Engineering, Jaguar, and PWC recruit from our batch. Around 60% of students are placed in companies like Google Silicon Engineering, Jaguar, PWC, Myntra, etc. The average salary package offered for an electrical engineering student is about 20 LPA.

Placements: Around 70-90% of students get placed in my course, and of the batch, 85-95% of students get placed. The highest package of my course has been 50 LPA, and the lowest ranges around 8–9 LPA. Various companies allow my course students to be eligible for internship or placements. About 50% of students got internships from my course in various companies from BCG, HUL, JSW, etc. Companies come for various roles like software developers, product managers, analysts, etc.

Placements: In this course, about 85 to 90 percent of students were placed. The highest package in this course is 1 crore, and the lowest package is 6 lakhs per annum. Top recruitment companies in this college include Microsoft, Google, and Amazon. About 90 percent of students got internships in this course, with the top roles offered being software and hardware engineer.

Placements: The Placements range in our College is High, our college is well known for good placements of 90% of students are placed in Top Companies. The highest Package offered is 45 Lacs, the lowest package is 13 Lacs and with an average package of 32 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, JP Morgan.

Placements: 60 to 70% of students were placed, with the highest package at 35 LPA, the lowest at 9 LPA, and an average of 15 LPA. Top companies included Google, Amazon, and Microsoft, with 40% of students securing internship opportunities at big companies. The top roles offered were SDE and WDE.

Placements: Currently I am a final year student at IIT Roorkee. Placement season has not started yet. So I will share my seniors placement, almost 80% of them are placed and average package is around 16 Lacs. Top recruiters are jaguar, Landrover and Bajaj etc.

Placements: In our college, almost 98% of students were placed from our course in top recruiting companies like Reliance Industries, BHEL, BASF, ExxonMobil, ONGC, Essar Oil Limited, etc. The highest package in our course is ₹1.5 crore, the average package is ₹50 lakh per annum, and the lowest package is ₹20 lakh per annum. Almost 95% of students secured internships in prominent companies like Reliance Industries, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, etc.

Placements: The total strength of my branch is 54 and as you know Physics is an interesting and baffling subject you can prefer course. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and many startups to top companies will recruit students here. Based on your CG, you will get a better internship too.

Placements: There are 1600 students in our batch and from that, only 800,000 have been placed till now. The highest package is 1.5 crores, the lowest is 6 lakhs, and the average package is 25 lakhs. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. Also, like placements, only 50% of student got internships in many big and small companies. The top roles offered in our course are software development engineering, hardware engineering, data science, and data analysis.

Placements: Total of 160+ companies visited. The average package is 18 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Japan Accenture Ltd, CISCO, JP Morgan, Bank of America, Amazon, American Express, etc. Students were placed in core fields, finance, management, and data Science, etc.

Placements: I am enrolled in ECE (B.Tech). There are about 120 students in this course each year with a placement percentage of 90%. The highest package offered this year is 90 LPA and the lowest is 10 LPA with an average package of 28 LPA. Placements: Our college is good at providing campus placements. In our college, the students get placed in top companies. The highest package offered is more than 100LPA per annum and the lowest package is 60LPA per annum with an average package of 30LPA. The top companies visiting our college are Wipro, Google, etc.

Placements: Almost 100% of students are placed in any field. The highest package is 1.2 crores and the lowest is 16 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Sprinkler, Jio, some Pvt Limited. Some students get offers for data analytics, software development, product management, and some prefer to government jobs.

Placements: As of now, placements in 2024 are not going well enough for most of the colleges in India. But here, placements have gone decent, as the highest placement offered by a foreign company was around 2.1 crore CTC and 1.6 crore domestic package, which is good for it. At the end, placements are very good here.

Placements: 115 were placed out of 145, and many were working on other startups, and many were placed off-campus, so overall, our placements are very good. The average package in our course is around 20 LPA, and the highest can go up to crores. Top recruiting companies in our course are Tata, Bajaj, Jaguar, Hindustan Union, etc. The top roles offered are assistant engineer, consultant, etc.
