Indraprastha college for women - academics and architecture.
Placements: The course I chose is psychology. The average package offered is 5 lacs per annum to 7 lacs per annum. The top roles offered are counselling psychologists and human resource management via organizational psychology. Around 50% of the students got placed.
Infrastructure: The college is constructed in Dutch architecture. The college has three green, lush lawns on the front side and a very huge field on the back side. The college library has a collection of more than 500,000 books and is on two floors. The college Wi-Fi is always available.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly and active. Most of the lecturers here hold a Ph.D. in their relevant field. The curriculum is strong and effective for students. The semester exams are quite easy. You can score above 8 GPA in every semester if you just go through the previous year's papers.

It is a great place to study for the rich.
Placements: Around 75% cutoffs are there for psychology and students with almost that or above that percentage have been admitted to this college. The highest course provided must be psychology with 32,100 as annual fees rest of the courses have a lower package than this. Recruiting company is Udaan. Some of the students did internships while studying as part-time jobs. Other than psychology, there are many other courses students can find interesting.
Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi is available on the campus. Different laboratories and classrooms are available. The psychology laboratories are good. The library is big with 3 floors and a lot of books, old and new. It has the facility to sit and read in a very good atmosphere. The hostel facilities are great. Other than the hostel which might make students faint by just hearing the amount. There are 2 hostels, one inside the campus and the other 1 outside.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified. They are researchers. They teach in an interactive manner, and semester exams are difficult even though students need to attend 4 questions for a paper, 1 question has 18.75 marks. For which students have to write 5-8-10 pages.
Other: I opted for this course, because I wanted to learn psychology. The best thing about this course is that it makes students think the other way around.

Course is good but college is bad.
Placements: For psychology, the placements are not really nice. Post-graduates are mostly preferred for placements. However, the college offers various internship opportunities within the course. These opportunities could be for roles such as content writers, social media managers, and various psychology profiles.
Infrastructure: The department infrastructure is informative but appears outdated. The Wi-Fi often doesn't work. There are three labs, with only one equipped with AC. The classrooms are spacious enough to accommodate 80 people. The hostel is also of good quality.
Faculty: The faculty has changed in the past few days due to the arrival of a new principal. While the teachers were highly qualified before, they are now considered above average. Nevertheless, they remain knowledgeable and qualified. The curriculum is relevant to the course and prepares students for the industry. Passing the semester exams has become easier.

It is a good place for Psychology enthusiasts.
Placements: We have a placement cell in the college which has been working quite hard. They provide a number of internship opportunities but students usually don't get selected. Placements mostly works for commerce or computer science background. Recruiting companies generally don't visit the college, and I haven't heard of anyone getting a very good package yet.
Infrastructure: Psychology has a department of its own. The psychology labs are good, with air-conditioners installed in 2 labs and 2 tutorial rooms. Rest of the classrooms are quite spacious. College Wi-Fi is a little hard to connect and most of the mobile networks do not work. College library has a huge collection on various subjects, including digital resources, which is spread across three floors. The staff is friendly, and air conditioners are installed in the entire building. There two hostels, one inside the campus and one right outside the campus. Various cultural festivals are celebrated from time to time. The quality of food available in the hostel mess is average and the quality of food in the college canteen is below average. The college has a sports team, a swimming team and swimming pool, a gym, shooting range, basketball and tennis court.
Faculty: All the teachers in the psychology department are qualified, highly knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. A relevant curriculum is taught which is comprehensive yet fun. There are lecture classes, tutorials, and lab classes. Teachers are very friendly and approachable, and most of them like to maintain a friendly yet professional student-teacher relationship. The department organises its annual departmental festival Manovriti which includes events like catharsis, talks on various important issues, etc. The semester exams are the same as those in any other DU college, it's easy to score well if you've paid attention in class.
Other: IP College is known for its beauty, greenery, the gardens, and variety of flowers. There are peacocks on the campus and u can also find three college dogs- Chameli, Sheru and Cheetu. The college hosts its annual fest 'Shruti', which is a two days festival. It is not as big as other DU colleges, but it's still enjoyable. The campus crowd is a bit dull. From dramatics society, Indian and western music societies, Indian and western dance societies, art soc, debating societies, etc. To placement cells, gender sensitisation cells, queer collective, NSS and NCC, sports society, etc., the college offers many extracurricular and extension societies to choose from, which makes your college life all the more beautiful. Each society organises its fest during the college fest.

A good institution for Psychology honors .
Placements: We are a batch of 82 girls. There is no placement opportunity for B.A. psychology honours students after graduation From my college, there are less or no opportunities available in the outside world but this course is the best in IPCW from any other college in Delhi University.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is above average. Classrooms for B.A. psychology honours are good; one lab also has AC. The library is full of resources, with a well-equipped sitting area and security for belongings. Wi-Fi connectivity and mobile networks are poor within the premises. The canteen is average but affordable. There is no such emphasis on sports for those who don't come from a sports background but you can join a gym. Basically, it's up to you to approach the sports dean. The college has a medical room and there is a hospital in front of the college itself.
Faculty: All the professors in the department are professionals, qualified and hold Ph.D. degrees. There method of teaching is absolutely good and makes us industry-ready. The course curriculum is relevant and interesting. College exams are not difficult if you keep up with the syllabus throughout the semester. To get a degree with an ''A' 'division, you need to have at least 74% aggregate.
