Placements: The placement cell of my college is very well-coordinated and organised. Though I didn’t enroll, my friends who were a part of the placement cell got placed in high-end MNCs. The package was satisfactory and the placement cell also conducts various seminars wherein students can explore the various options that they can pursue after their graduation.
Placements: Several companies visit the campus for placement like Infosys, Dell, etc. but the college needs to work on placements and internships offers, because very few students are selected for that. Also, the college should encourage the students to participate as a few students apply for internships and placements.
A lesser known college with a good faculty, events, societies and education in general. It's easily accessible via metro and bus. The college building itself is a heritage site, and the campus is beautiful. We have a museum inside the campus too. The library isn’t very good (same as many DU colleges) and the college is a bit strict about attendance.
The college has an amazing campus. It is the largest in Delhi University covering around 22 acres, with greenery and beautiful birds around you. The classrooms in the old building are from the 18th century, whereas the new block gives you modern classrooms. Each classroom has a projector. Even though it is a girl’s college, you would not find it boring with so many active societies around you.
The college is very good. There are excellent infrastructure and courses offered by the college. The teachers are very understanding. The college has a good metro connectivity and is the only college of DU, having a pool and a Multimedia Course. Salary and Placements are good. The bad thing about college is only one, that is not having good NSS and NCC facilities and faculty members.
Located in one of the posh areas of Delhi, IPCW, better known as IP College by DU students, has got an amazing crowd. And girls, trust me, it’s just the perfect place you would want to be in, without missing the guys. Well IP has an amazing faculty and societies to suit everyone's interests be it dramatics, dance, music - Indian or western, you name it and it is there. Now, coming to the infrastructure, you sure are not going to be disappointed with that. The college building was once the offi...
The college is really neat and its white building soothes the eyes. The teaching faculty is really nice and helpful. The office staff is really nice, which is what I liked most about IP College. The canteen is neat and the food is amazing. The SBI Bank in the campus which is really useful and the library has an excellent collection of books.
Indraprastha College for Women, with all its women, evoked more doubt than excitement in me when I joined the BMMMC course (Bachelors in Mass Media and Mass Communication), which is now re-christened as BJMC. I was doubtful because I had completed my schooling from a co-ed school and to be in a girls college was not really a promising idea, given that now we could finally exercise freedom away from the confines of school restrictions. But trust me all who read this, it was the most defining pha...
Placements: Only 30/40 percent will get placement in my course. I think they provide 4 to 5lakh package. Many hotels come to the college campus like the oberoi and many more. 10% will get internships. Every semester we have to give 2times internal exam. It's a 3year course in which 2semester each.
Placements: Very good placements with many more opportunities for future career development. Great skill development which will enhance my career requirements. Teaches us leadership and persistance and dedication towards career built up and skill enhancement for future.
Placements: Indraprastha College for Women offers excellent education for female students. In the philosophy field, students typically pursue internships and engage in social work instead of attending placement drives specifically for their course. Additionally, many philosophy students opt for further education, such as pursuing a Ph.D. in philosophy.
Placements: It is a very good college, but the placement criteria are not good because nobody is here to get a placement or a job. Everyone is here to complete the course and prepare for government exams. Most students want to become IAS officers and are preparing for that.
Placements: I am pursuing a B.Com. (Hons.) from the well-known college of Delhi University, which is Indraprastha College for Women. There are around a total of 160 B.Com. (Hons.) students in our college. And they are divided into two sections. I am currently in my first year of B.Com. (Hons) and got admission through CUET. What I have heard and experienced regarding the placement cell of IP College is that IP's placement cell actually provides placement to B.Com. (Hons.) students on the basis of their pote...
Placements: Placements are very high in this course, and around 70% of students get placed in top recruiting companies. The highest package is around Rs 15,00,000 per annum, the lowest package is Rs 2,00,000 per annum, and the average package is Rs 5,00,000 per annum. The top recruiting companies for this course are Nestle, Cadbury, Accenture, Dell, Ola, and many NGOs. Almost all the students do internships from this course in many companies which are not so recognisable in the market but have started build...
Placements: If we talk about our placement percentage, then I can say that every year our college placement cell, which is JET, gives offers to students to join various well-known brands. Students from last year get offers of job opportunities, and for first and second year students, JET offers internships for brands like Ferns and Petals and also in the upcoming companies. Most students participate in such interviews and gain experience.
Placements: After you have been accepted by a college, you may need to take placement tests. Colleges use placement tests in subjects like math and English to check the academic skill levels of entering students. Then the college can place each student in classes at the right level.
Placements: Mostly students are recruited in Human Resources. Companies like Deloitte, Oberoi group, Tata consultancy etc. Comes for placement. But students pursuing Political Science honors usually prefer to study further. Students usually take up international relations, Masters, Law, UPSC after completing their graduation.
Placements: Our college has JET courier guidance and placement cell. Placement cell helps students in many ways by conducting interview sessions so that students can experience the difficulties faced further by students while giving interviews in companies. Jeet company organised many events for students as they can gain experience.
Placements: Placements in IPCW are performing well. The highest salary package offered in B.Com Hons is approximately 4 LPA. Among recruitment companies providing placements, Deloitte is one of the top companies offering job opportunities to students. Job profiles are mainly related to auditing. Around 50% of the students are able to get an internship.
Placements: There is a placement cell in our college. Even a lot of internship opportunities are provided to the students of this college. I don't have in-depth knowledge about the companies or the salary package offered for different courses. However, I'm sure that we can get the best offers.
