Great industry connections and placements, but curriculum needs to be updated.
Placements: Placement rates may vary by college and course. Generally, top colleges have placement rates ranging from 80% to 100%. The placement percentage depends on the course and industry demand. The highest salary package varies significantly depending on the course and the reputation of the college. For instance, in top-tier engineering or management courses, the highest salary packages range from 25 LPA to 1 crore or more.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure for the course/department. Most modern institutions provide high-speed Wi-Fi across the campus, including academic blocks, libraries, and hostels. Wi-Fi access is typically available to all students, sometimes with separate access points for specific areas. Labs for engineering/science courses have dedicated laboratories for practical sessions. They are well-equipped with the necessary tools and software for various experiments (e.g., computer labs, electronics labs, mechanical workshops).
Faculty: In most reputable institutions, teachers are generally approachable and willing to help students with academic queries. Many colleges have office hours during which professors are available for one-on-one sessions, clarifications, or guidance. Teachers may also provide additional learning resources, organize review sessions, and offer mentoring support.
Other: The best aspects of a course and campus depend on individual preference. Many students find that a combination of academic rigor, campus culture, extracurricular activities, and industry readiness prepares them well for their future careers. Institutions that foster a holistic development approach tend to attract students who are not only focused on academics but also on personal growth and community involvement.

The title of my college journey is "MY CSE Journey."
Placements: Placements in our college are exceptional with a dedicated residential team that works for the placement of final-year students. Approximately 80% of the students in my course are placed, with some getting jobs in their domain and others doing internships. Companies like HCL, Wipro, Microsoft, Loti, and other startups visit our college for placements and internships. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college structure is well-equipped with modern classrooms, including smart boards and audio-visual systems. The labs have the latest model computers and advanced equipment. The staff is supportive in learning practical approaches towards the core domain. The library offers a large collection of books, journals, and digital resources. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled with reliable speed.
Faculty: The curriculum of the courses makes the students industry-ready, with a major focus on their core domains by combining academic and industry experience. The teachers use a methodology of interactive and practical learning with a focus on future technologies. The faculty members are committed to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest industry trends and advancements for students.

AKTU college IT branch review.
Placements: The placement rate in my college from the IT branch is generally above 80%. Companies regularly hire students from our college. Companies like TCS, HCl, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys are among them. The average salary offered to IT students starting out is around 6 LPA, with top performers securing packages up to 12 LPA. The college's dedicated placements cell conducts extensive training sessions, including mock interviews and resume building, etc.
Infrastructure: The college is equipped with high-tech labs featuring the latest hardware and software devices. The library is well-stocked with the latest books, journals, and online access resources for IT students. Campus-wide Wi-Fi ensures a reliable internet connection. Classrooms are modern with projectors and audio-visual aids that enhance the learning experience.
Faculty: The faculty of AKTU college's IT department includes several Ph.D. holders and professionals with significant industry experience. The student-faculty ratio is maintained at 15:1. Teachers give personalized attention. Teaching methods and techniques like flipped classrooms and online courses are employed. Students are encouraged to participate in research projects and may have published papers in reputed journals.

That's all about my college.
Placements: The Information Technology branch is similar to Computer Science, and the placement scene is also similar in the domain. Students get internships and placements, approximately 70% from the college and some from outside. Recruiting companies are IT companies, and some MNCs also visit our college for placements like TCS, HCl, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good. As I am an IT student, I do not need more facilities because all work is done on laptops. Classes are well-maintained and clean, with proper seating arrangements for students. The hostel is fine, and the food quality in other hostels is good. We can order special food by paying extra. There is a sports ground for games and other activities.
Faculty: The faculty members are good. All subject teachers have good knowledge to teach students easily. The curriculum is related to the course and branch, making the students industry-ready. To get good marks in exams, you need to understand the concepts well, and based on that, you can write in semesters to achieve good marks.

I am not satisfied with faculty members and placements.
Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 21 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Zscaler, Byju's, Wipro, HCL, TCS, and Infosys. Top roles offered are web developer, software developer, frontend developer, graphic designer, associate learning designer, and backed developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college facilities are not good. There are no proper appliances in classrooms. The college department is not good. Wi-Fi is available for faculty members only. The quality of the mess food is good. Medical facilities, Wi-Fi, sports, and games facilities are not available in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are not much helpful. They only want to complete their syllabus. Their teaching quality is not much good. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not good. During the online exams, students did not work hard and got marks according to their past results.
