B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IET.
Placements: The placements in Mechanical branch are fine. TATA motors, Mahindra, Indian oil, etc. come for placements and internships. Most of the students get placed in their core branches and join startups for a better career growth. Students get 4LPA to 15 LPA according to the company and the positions they get selected for.
Infrastructure: The college campus is very well maintained with greenery and a peaceful environment. Wi-Fi Facility is available in the campus and in the classes also. Library has sufficient books for the students and faculty along with the latest patterns available. Labs are important for the mechanical branch as we need to do all the experiments and practicals with the machines. All the necessary machinery is available in the Workshop.
Faculty: The course is relevant and knowledgeable as it follows AICTE standards. The teachers are well qualified and have mMasters degrees in their particular subjects. The course makes the students industry ready for the upcoming technologies. In the exams, the students need to clear concepts to get good marks along with having a good writing and elaboration skills.

I am satisfied with my college and it has a good ROI.
Placements: Almost 70- 80% of the students get placed in the college. The highest package offered is 8 LPA, an average package is 4 LPA and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Top recruiters are Pulses and Jaro education. Percentage of students getting internship is 80%. Top role is that of a research analyst.
Infrastructure: There is a very big library of 3 floors having all sorts of B. Tech books of mechanical, civil, computer applications, etc. available along with a big waiting area. There are four floors and multiple smart rooms along with one big computer room. Hostel food is decent and not quite good, it’s just edible. There is one medical room and one activity center.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are all Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is relevant, we attend workshops and they provide us hands on experience. 2 internships are mandatory and they make us industry ready. Also, the semester exams are quite difficult.
Other: The best thing of this course is the exposure to the industry through sessions and workshops. Some of the events conducted are Ceribrum and AKTU cultural events.

Candidates must have passed class 12th/equivalent examination in 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025.
There is no age limit for the candidates.

Final examination of the 2-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the NDA.
SSC Examination conducted by the NIOS with a minimum of 5 subjects.

2024 onwards Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow will be using the score sheet of JEE (Main) for admission instead of UPCET (Earlier UPSEE).

Getting IET at this rank is not possible as your rank is too high. For that, I'll prefer you to opt any other govt college or if you want IET only then you can wait till the spot round of the counselling.

Sorry, you cannot get admission in IET, Lucknow. You can try in IERT-Allahabad, JSS-Noida, KIET, AKG or ABESEC.
But I will suggest you to go for the every round of counselling.

Sorry but you cannot get admission in IET, Lucknow. But try in BIET-Jhansi, KNIT-Sultanpur or IERT-Allahabad.

I would like to tell you that IET is one of the most reputed colleges for engineering in UPTU. I don't think with this rank you would be able to get admission in IET. You can check the last year's cut-off also, but yes, you can get admission in other government colleges, all you have to do is check

Your chances of getting a government college are almost nil so try for some private colleges like IILM, Lloyd, etc.
