It is a college very old college. Placement records are very good and faculty behavior is good.
Placements: It is a very good college for placement records. A minimum of 50% of students are placed in good companies. The college's highest, average, and lowest packages, respectively, are 11 lakhs, 4.5 lakhs, and 3 lakhs. Top recruiting companies are TCS, IBM, L&T, MANTRA, RELIANCE, TEJASVE, more.
Infrastructure: Jabalpur Engineering College is a very old college; it was established in 1947. In this college, there is very good infrastructure—all departments, Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and good quality. The library and labs have very qualified lab attendants and library teachers that very much help your career and subject.
Faculty: Jabalpur Engineering College is a very old college. This college professor well qualified all teachers at IITs, NITs, BITs, and other top institutions. Teachers have Ph.D.s and all big exams like GATE, net jre, etc. This college teachers give very quality-based knowledge about industry, companies, and other research institutes.
Other: I want a good technical job, and my interest in this field is very good. Electronics and telecommunications is a very technical course that provides good knowledge about mobile and electronics machines.

Not good if expectations are very high. Good for students preparing for government exams.
Placements: I myself, being a 4th-year student right now, have seen the past three years, which gives an idea that after COVID, the placements have gone down. The core branches like mechanical, civil, and electrical do offer jobs comparatively more as compared to IT and CS in this college. Companies like L&T, Reliance, Mahindra do come for placements. The average package is between 2.5-3.5 LPA. The college doesn't provide any internships. Only 20-30% of students get placed, and others prepare for other exams.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very poor as it is an old college; its design is of the 90s type. The college doesn't provide Wi-Fi on its campus, and only in the library, you will get Wi-Fi, and that too, you have to create an account from the IT department to access it. In the hostel, you also don't have Wi-Fi. The library does not provide books other than those of subjects. The hostel has a big ground where you can play cricket and football, and it also has a volleyball court inside the hostel campus. There are 8 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girls, and both types of hostels are in different places, with no connection between them. The mess is okay for boys, and the hostel doesn't have a canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are least bothered about teaching; the permanent faculty are well qualified but do not teach regularly. Students need to study by themselves and need to look after their careers by themselves; no one is there to guide in the college. The college doesn't make students ready for the industry. To pass the exam is not that tough; if you do previous years' questions well, you will pass the exam very easily; you only need to fill at least 25 pages of the answer sheet.
Other: I chose the course and college because the outside reality is something different, and when you reach out there, it is something else. I heard, and I went; that was the case without knowing the reality. The course is an outdated one; it should be updated looking at the present scenario of the world. The college doesn't conduct any fest by itself; students do it by themselves after requesting many times; they grant permission.

Decent college with very low fees.
Placements: In my course, almost 30% of students are placed every year. Most of the companies that come to the campus are either service-based or core companies. The average package that students receive is 4-5 LPA. The college doesn't provide internships, and the students have to find them on their own.
Infrastructure: The hostel life at JEC is pretty decent, and the hostels, even after being very old, are in normal conditions. The mess food is average, and different festivals are celebrated in the hostel. Ragging is banned in hostels. The college departments have a library, a water cooler, and Wi-Fi, but the conditions of fans and benches in all classrooms are not that good.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-versed and qualified individuals in their field. Most of the faculty members are helpful and try to cover the syllabus as properly as possible. The course curriculum is a little outdated, but still it is relevant for the industry, but the college needs to focus on labs and a more practical approach, as most of the lab classes are of no use for students. The semester exams are conducted in a fair manner every semester, and the difficulty level is moderate. Students need to pass all the exams and practicals to be considered pass. In theory, exams passing marks are 22 out of 70.
Other: I chose this course because I had a deep interest in electronics and wanted to contribute and learn in this field as much as possible. The only thing I would improve about my course is the lab classes so that the students not only get theoretical knowledge but practical knowledge as well. The campus life is below average in this college. No fests are conducted. Only an annual sports event is conducted. There are different clubs like raag, danonjec, etc. for students interested in the creative fields.

This college offers a B.Tech. degree at a very affordable price.
Placements: We are in our second year of college. As per seniors, the highest package was INR 10 lacs/annum on campus, and the average is INR 4 lacs/annum, but it all depends on us. The highest package off campus was INR 40 lacs per annum. Roles can be in web development, data analysis, or the software field. 50% of students got placed.
Infrastructure: Systems are available; there is AC in the labs. Wi-Fi is not available in every department, but it is in some. Classrooms are average. The library is very helpful; there are books that you can borrow, and you can sit and study there peacefully. Again, the hostel is very affordable and has very tight security. The mess food is also good.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful. Teachers are knowledgeable and have a great deal of experience in teaching. The toughness of semester exams depends on your branch, and even checking. The course curriculum is relevant. In the end, it seems you have to score 22/70 in theory and pass the practical exam in each subject.
Other: A BE in electronics and telecommunications has a lot of scope. In this course, you are taught software as well as hardware, so you have more options to choose from.

The average salary package offered ranges between 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Service-based companies are mass recruiters. Many students got internships in this course.
Infrastructure: Our college was established in the year 1947. It is the first engineering college in Madhya Pradesh. The infrastructure is moderate. The hostel condition is average. Mess is also better.
Faculty: Faculty members are very energetic and helpful. They are well qualified. The explanation technique is better. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Around 75% of attendance is required in this college. You can also enjoy the competition level during exams.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
