Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

A short review of my BE journey.
Placements: In our course, there were around 60% of successful placements every year. Moderate companies visited our college for the placements. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. The top recruiters were TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc. The top roles offered were programmer, developers, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college campus was located in a very vast area. Wi-Fi connection was available throughout the entire campus, including labs, classrooms, library, etc. The canteen at the college was good. There were no hostel facilities available during my course. Labs had working computers.
Faculty: All the teachers on the council were helpful and supportive. They were highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers used to cover the entire syllabus on time. Exams were conducted on a semester-by-semester basis. College professors used to conduct various seminars and workshops for skills and personal development.

Our college provides very good industry based training and placement support.
Placements: Companies begin to visit our college to offer placements. The placement percentage of our college is increasing every year because of good placement training organised by the institute. The recruiting companies offer different salary packages such as 12 LPA, 9 LPA, 6 LPA, 4.5 LPA, and 3.5 LPA. The highest salary package is 15 LPA. The recruiting companies are Amazon, Capgemini, Wipro, TCS Digital, TCS Ninja, KPIT, Hexaware, Accenture, Infosys, HHAExchange, and many more. Top roles offered are software engineer, associate software engineer, intern, software tester, and software developer. By the end of the final year's first semester, about 70% of students get placed.
Infrastructure: Our campus is good that has a clean environment and friendly people. Departmental labs are updated with the latest technology with unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi. Digital classrooms help students to learn with fun. The library is well managed with thousands of books for every domain with good seating arrangements. It is open from 9 AM to 11 PM. The canteen is filled with every food item from breakfast to lunch. The hostel is good with security guards, CCTV cameras, very good parking, and laundry.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are supportive and kind. They are always ready to solve students' queries. Teachers use the digital college platform moodle to provide notes, assignments, practicals, and e-books. They teach using digital boards. They put their 100% effort to train students for placements by providing study materials, personality development sessions, and workshops. Every department of our college focuses more on practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. Mock exams are conducted before final exams to make students understand the patterns and marking scheme.
Other: Our college has different communities like Google developer student club, Zensar training, CESA event management, Intel skill build programs, and a cyber security club that helps students to learn new industry skills and technologies. Our college has a robotics development lab to research electrical components, artificial intelligence, and IoT. Events such as dandiya, coding hackathons, and dance fests are organised in our college. Intercollege sports events are held in our college. Scholarships provided in our college are Punjabrao Deshmukh, EBC, and OBC.

My experience in this college was the best so far.
Placements: 20% of students were placed in my course. The highest package offered in my course was 7 LPA, the lowest package offered was 2 LPA and the average package offered was 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course were TCS and Tech Mahindra. 40% students got internship from my course in Oasis, Infobyte, etc. The top roles offered in my course are software developer and data scientist.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good and the facilities provided are excellent. Students are provided with all the necessary equipment in labs and for research purposes, Wi-Fi is also available. The quality of facilities in our hostel is good and the food available is also very healthy and hygienic. The medical facilities are also very good.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were very well qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality was also very good. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and it does make students industry-ready. The level of semester exams is mediocre and the pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I was always fascinated about the computer mechanism and eager to learn about it. The best thing about my course is that it helps me gain practical knowledge and get a valuable job. The syllabus we are getting taught about is very old and it should be updated for today's market. There are many events organized throughout the year, including religious events and many more events like traditional days, etc. And scholarships are even provided to the students with backward class.

This college is good for placements but not for enjoying engineering.
Placements: As per the records on the college websites, almost 80% of students are placed in different IT sectors. Top recruiting companies like TCS, HCL, etc., visit our campus. There are more opportunities for students to get internships.
Infrastructure: There is no boys' hostel at our college. The area where the college is situated is not well maintained and is not very developed. This college has a girls' hostel.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and good at teaching. They just make you do things and help you understand engineering life. The practical labs are good. Semester exams are as per Savitribai Phule Pune University. They are not difficult.

Satisfied with college, I would definitely recommend not avoiding college due to its infrastructure.
Placements: There are very good chances of getting placed, as many companies visit for placements. The maximum number of students gets placed. The current passout batch had a 24 LPA package. The lowest was near to 1.6 LPA. The average package is about 3.5 LPA (lacks per annum).
Infrastructure: Basic facilities such as a well-maintained library, projectors, and Wi-Fi are available. The hostels are only accessible to girls, not boys, and there is a lack of sports and games with limited scope in this regard. The quality of food provided at the canteen is also average, and there is a deficiency in proper sports equipment availability.
Faculty: Teachers are highly professional and possess excellent communication skills. The exams conducted are stringent, with nearly 70% of students clearing all subjects. As I am currently in my first year of study, I lack familiarity with the curriculum. The educators exhibit great dedication towards examinations.
Other: We observed a scope in computer science, so opt for this course. We encountered issues with teaching chemistry, but our complaint didn't lead to effective action.
