Really good infrastructure.
Placements: My college places a strong emphasis on industry interactions and placements. The institute has tie -ups with leading it companies and regularly organizes guest lectures, internships and campus recruitment drives. This ensures that the students have ample opportunities to gain practical exposure, intern at renowned organizations, and secure promising job offers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college is top notch, with well-equipped labs, a spacious library, and modern classrooms. The institute also offers access to online resources and databases, which is beneficial for research and project work. Additionally, the campus provides a conductive environment for learning and collaboration, with various student clubs and association organizing events and activities throughout the year.
Faculty: The curriculum of college is well -designed and up-to-date, incorporating the latest trends and technologies in the it industry. It strikes a balance between theoretical concepts and hands on practical experience. The institute also encourages students to participate in various workshops, seminars and hackathons, providing opportunities to enhance their technical skills and stay updated with industry advancements.

I'm satisfied with our college.
Placements: The placements provided at our college are awesome. Even in COVID times, almost 140 companies visited the college for placements. If you are talented enough, you can get awesome jobs and awesome packages. Some things may be a bit off at our college, like communication and other management.
Infrastructure: Our college is known for its infrastructure. It has the biggest infrastructure in Mumbai after IIT. There are special buses for people to go from the GATE to the colleges. The canteen is a bit unhygienic, but that can be excused by the quality of food.
Faculty: Teachers at our college are helpful. But at some point, they get too selfish and moody. Many teachers literally refused to give out LORs to people who wanted to peruse MS. They are very loving and supportive, but only if you've got a good image in front of them.

KJ Somaiya College for Engineering is worth it.
Placements: About 80-90% of the students who sit for placements get placed in college. The highest salary package offered last year was 51.02 LPA by Microsoft. The average salary package offered is around 7 LPA. Top companies like JP Morgan, Barclays, etc., visit the campus for recruitment. There are a lot of companies that provide internships. Roles offered are software developer and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Our college provides Wi-Fi, air-conditioned classrooms, multiple computer labs, and a huge library. It is a very nice well-maintained campus. It has got an athletic ground which carries all sports throughout the year. We have a big cricket/ football ground. Hostel has a basketball court.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. But they are very moody and arrogant. The course curriculum is relevant but involves too much theory. There are three main exams IA, ISE, and ESE. We have 2 internal assessments of 20 marks, and one semester exam of 30 marks, and one end-semester exam of 100 marks.

The campus is good, huge and vast. Facilities are also good, but it is highly overpriced.
Placements: Almost 70-80% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 13.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 7.1 LPA. Microsoft, Cisco, TCS, Deloitte, Flipkart, Cardekho, Amazon, Accenture, and Bosch visited the campus. Around 40-50% of the students got placed in Amazon, Microsoft, and Flipkart. Roles offered are as software developer and software engineer.
Infrastructure: There is free unlimited Wi-Fi for all students. Classrooms are well lgntned and are spacious. The library has ample amount of resources, and is open till 9 at night. The food quality in hostel mess and canteen is very good, and there is a big ground for athletics and football with rubber mats. There are badminton courts, tennis courts, squash courts, and a huge clubhouse is being built for students.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable but they are unable to convey and make us understand the topics in that good way. The course curriculum is industry-relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Exams are fairly difficult, and the pass percentage is 100%.

Review of K J Somaiya College of Engineering.
Placements: The highest package was 58 LPA, the average was 9 LPA, and the lowest was 7 LPA on average. Companies like Incred, J.P. Morgan, Land, Siemens, etc. are the top recruiters. 80 percent of students got internships during our year. Skills matter for getting a good placement and college helps you with the same.
Infrastructure: The course and faculty are nice in our department and the hostel is very near the college. The same goes for the mess; it is very good compared to other colleges. Classrooms have AC and projectors for better study, Wi-Fi is accessible all over the campus, the library is available in our college up until 6 p.m., and each and every book is present out there.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and are available for us whenever we need them, and all the doubts get cleared. The course is relevant. Yes, it makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are average and not very hard. To get a pass is easier compared to other colleges.
Other: I chose this course because I had an interest in coding and making websites. The best thing about the course is the placement and creativity you can show. Fest is really fun and one of the most beautiful times of our course. The crowd is also good in our engineering college. You can get a scholarship if you earn less than 8 LPA and also for sports. We have many committees to join, which makes you valuable and gives you many opportunities.
