It is a good college for students for their better education.
Placements: Almost 87% of the students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Wipro, Optum, and many more companies visit the campus. Students with 78% of academics were eligible for placements. Almost 67 companies offer a salary package of 5 LPA. The roles offered were as a software engineer and management work which were good.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided were good in our college. It was spread in a vast area that had more than 12 buildings. Wi-Fi was available in the classrooms and also on the entire campus at high speed. Classrooms were also good with digital boards. The restaurant food was so delicious. Sports activities were organised in a month for a better life.
Faculty: Teachers were so helpful to us, and they were much capable of their stream. Their teaching quality was so good and they cleared all the concepts because students were so curious about studying. The semester exams were simple for us because our concepts were cleared and we learned from our teachers and so we solved the paper very easily. The pass percentage was 35%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it and to achieve my dream. Everything on the campus was good.

It is a good college with a good learning environment.
Placements: The placement record of the college was good as 90% of the students got placed with many companies like Tata, Wipro, Godrej, Delivery.Com, Lenevo, Sony and many others with an average salary package of 3 LPA. The college also provided internships with many companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was very good as every course and trade had its own department. We had good classrooms, digital and traditional library with Wi-Fi and practical labs. They also provided hostels for boys and girls separately with canteen and mess facility.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were good and very helpful. They were well-educated and were always ready to help students for their academics. They made us understand the course and make it easy for us. The course curriculum is good and much relevant. Teachers make students industry-ready.

I am dissatisfied with this college. Placements are very bad.
Placements: Some students from our batch got placed. The average salary offered was Rs. 10,000 per month. Top recruiting companies do not visit our campus for placements. The highest salary package offered in our course was 1.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. In KIT, there was more foundation for coeducation, but chief proctor was very bad.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good. There was a lack of facilities in labs, classrooms and library. The college does not provide medical facilities for students. Canteen and games facilities are average. The hostel facility was also average.
Faculty: Some faculty members in our college were good and knowledgeable. Some faculty teaching quality was very bad. They do not make students industry-ready. Our chief proctor was bad. Faculty members in our course have a lack of knowledge.
Other: I have chosen this course because it was my dream, and I like machines. The college should have connectivity and bonding between teachers and students.

Good infrastructure but need more placements in every department.
Placements: Placement in Mechanical department is not good but in Computer Science and Information Technology it's good. Electronics and Electrical department has good facility for campus placement. It's only Mechanical department where lack of placement occurs. Very rare companies come for Mechanical department.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good as there is a very good facility of Computer Lab, Library. Auditorium for indoor games. Alternate field for outdoor games. Canteen provides good and effective stuffs. Canteen of hostel is not as good as normal canteen. Hostel food must be good.
Faculty: Some faculty members are well qualified whether some are not very much qualified. Yes some faculty members are very knowledgeable and their teaching are very impressive. But lack of practicals there. All students are not aware of industry exposure. Only theoretical knowledge is expressed more.
Other: Yes some fest are held like fresher's party, farewell and also a cultural fest. Connectivity is good. Campus surrounding is somehow rural but now developed.

The college is going down day by day.
Placements: I was placed in a company from the campus which was a non-core and non-technical one and it was shut down a few months later. That's why I was unable to join. Everything went in vain. And now, I am an independent girl and I found a job in the teaching field by my own efforts and I am still in search of a better job on the core side.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of KIT is good, you have all the necessary requirements but yes if you are going to compare it with other bigger institutions in big cities like Delhi, Noida, Bangalore etc, you will surely be disappointed. Anyone who is basically from Varanasi or nearby, parents are not allowing them to go to the bigger cities and they can join this college. KIT's infrastructure is best among other institutions in Varanasi but at the same time, few schools have better environment then this college. The computer labs are there and there's a separate building for the placement cell. I hope this information is enough to get an idea about KIT and you can have an idea much better when you visit the place.
Faculty: When I joined this college in 2013, they had the best faculty members in their history ever as far as I knew, but slowly they called more new faculty members and removed the older ones and I can say that this was the biggest mistake done by KIT. Now the situation of college is horrible and they don't have good faculty members. The students are suffering and it will take more time to build a better college again. Other than that, this college is famous for its cultural programmes and sports as well although they are short of some faculty or equipment.
Other: I suggest all the students who visit the college that, they only join this college if they are bound to live in Varanasi or nearby. If your parents aren't allowing you to go out of Varanasi, but you do have the opportunity to go out and join colleges in Delhi, Bangalore or Noida, go for it or else you will regret joining this college. If you think that you only need guidance, then you can achieve good by your own efforts. Anyone who is very interested in other activities than studies can visit this college. The proctorial board is not good they do not have control on the students. You will get support from college if you are doing good in studies and other activities. This is all from my end. And all the best to all of you.

Q:   Can I get admission to Kashi Institute of Technology with 60% in Class 12th?

A:

Kashi Institute of Technology was established in 2008 and is located in Varanasi. It is a private institution that is affiliated to Dr Abdul Kalam Technical University . It has a 12 year experience of academic excellence, and offers holistic education to students. It has also been awarded Grade A Accreditation by NAAC. The institute offers various undergraduate and post graduate level courses, and admission into these courses is based on the entrance exam of the particular course. Such as admission to B.Tech and B.Pharm is done on the basis of JEE Main, MBA programme seats are filled on the basis of CAT/MAT/KMET etc. Thus a 60% score in Class 12th is a good score, but it ultimately depends on the specific admission requirements and criteria set by the institute.
