I am satisfied with events, curriculum, average placements and good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: About 30% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 3.25 LPA in KPIT company. Companies through CoCubes exam conducted placements here. Roles offered here were trainees, and then other roles based on your performance. Almost every student got an internship in different companies for a period of 1 to 2 months.

Infrastructure: Good facilities are provided here. Our college has proper classrooms and well-maintained labs with proper equipment. Good quality food is served in canteens, and hygiene is also maintained properly. Games and sports were encouraged, and competitions were also held. Medical facilities were provided when needed.

Faculty: Teachers here were helpful and quite knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was good but can be improved by increasing course timing and by focusing more on practical knowledge so that students are capable of getting application-based study. Our college also should prepare students for placement exams by conducting classes for extra hours and teaching.

Other: Our college provides good exposure to extracurricular activities. It should give more attention to course modules and practicals. There will be proper management of events in our college, and events are organised at a national level.

It is an autonomous institute providing many placements for CSE, IT, ENTC, and ETRX branches.

Placements: Placements for the electronics department are very good. Nearly 50% of the electronics department students get placed. More than 20 companies visit the campus for placements. Companies like KPIT, TCS, Globaledge, Sankalp Semiconductor, Zed Global, SLK, etc., visit the campus for placements. Even this year, Microchip also provided placement opportunities. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Labs and classrooms are equipped with modern equipment like 3D printers and smart screen. The library facility is very good. Hostel rooms are average. Canteen facility is good. All kind of help is provided by departments in projects and to establish start-ups.

Faculty: Faculty members of the college are qualified and very helpful. The quality of teaching is good. Almost one or two faculty members are available for theory and practical for a batch of 15 students. Industrial visits and training are conducted. I am from the batch of Shivaji University, but the autonomous course curriculum was the best.

Other: The college conducts many extracurricular activities. The biggest events conducted in the college are Pioneer, WWW, Abhigyan, Irenew. Meraki is the annual gathering and talent show which is excellent. Kolhapuri people are very nice, and you can enjoy your college life.

KIT is the best institute in Kolhapur district.

Placements: Many companies come for campus placement, there are off campus placements too. Training and Placement department consistently taking efforts for more campus placements. Some companies has given Internship offers to third year students also. Overall 50-60% Placement happens every year.

Infrastructure: The college has big infrastructure and more advanced labs. The instruments are updated/changed periodically. The college has central library and individual department library also. Wi-Fi available in whole college campus. Overall the college has good facilities.

Faculty: The college has got autonomy last year, so from now, they are going to design there own syllabus which will be beneficial to new students. College facilities always motivate students, students have lot of fuel, facilities just have to ignit it. And that's what they have been doing.

Other: Annual National Event - Pioneer Sky observation event - Gaganvedhi Informative session - Abhigyaan.

Other: Government Engineering College is located in Munnar, Idukki, Kerala. I got Admission through the Kerala engineering entrance examination. Faculty and administration are good. The Electronics department has qualified permanent staff. Placements are also good. I would recommend this college to everyone as overall it its nice place to be in.
