Dissatisfied, please choose some better college.

Placements: No placements are available in the college for this course. This college is only for degree earning, no future for placement. Rely on MUN for recognition; never expect any opportunity from the college. It is you come, study, score, take the degree, and leave straight away.

Infrastructure: Labs, e-library, modern classrooms, projectors, computers, common room, and gym are available. Hostel food is below average but gut-friendly. Canteen foods are not good to eat. Hostel environment is peaceful with no ragging, and food from outside is not available on the hostel campus.

Faculty: Professors are average; they will help but may insult. Attendance is compulsory. Semester exams are not easy to crack. There is a focus on studying; only 40% is the pass percentage. Students are not friendly, neither are the teachers. Simply focus on your goal to avoid friendships; that's the main thing.

LBC has really good infrastructure and facilities, and one can have a disciplined college life.

Placements: The placements are not provided for B.Sc. courses, which is partly because most of the students are keen on pursuing higher education after graduation rather than looking for jobs directly after passing out. For some courses, though the placement wing exists, but not many reputed companies come for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Lady Brabourne College is one of the best among the colleges under Calcutta University. It has a huge campus with well-maintained classrooms. The canteen is pretty good, and the food is also very good there. The hostel of our college is huge and also has a gym and a common room for recreational activities.

Faculty: One of the perks of Lady Brabourne College is its excellent faculty. Especially in economics, the core faculty is awesome, and the professors are very friendly, and the students can reach out to them as they are always there to help. Moreover, for the economics department, I can vouch that the professors explain each topic to its depth, and half of the work is done if you attend the classes regularly and take down the notes attentively. Internal exams are held regularly by the college to assess the students' knowledge.

Other: Our college also hosts many events and seminars. There is also a scope to participate in many extracurricular activities organised by the college.

Review of Lady Brabourne College.

Placements: Most students want to opt for post-graduate degrees. As a result, placements don't take place as far as I know, even if they do take place. The environment is more academic-oriented than job-oriented.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are airy and have bookshelves. Library is air-conditioned and has good books. I have not availed for a hostel but from what I have heard it is properly maintained and the food is decent as well. The canteen is air-conditioned and the food is good.

Faculty: Teachers are good, very knowledgeable, and always ready to answer any doubts students have. The course has very rigorous mathematics, besides mathematical, students must have maths as a generic elective for two semesters.

I am very satisfied with our faculty.

Placements: During my 3 years of graduation, I have no knowledge about any placement taking place from my department. Any kind of internship undertaken by a student was purely off campus, because no company visited our campus nor were there any efforts for the same.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise, a new building was recently built where most of the classes are held nowadays. We had access to digitized education and when was needed. We also had a spacious library with a capacity of maximum 100. About hostel, the quality of the food was poor as well as the hygiene. We literally had street dogs loitering on the hostel corridors.

Faculty: We had an exceptional faculty in our department where each one of the teachers were extremely qualified and knowledgeable. It goes without saying that the teaching was immensely helpful too. The course curriculum however could have been a little bit more practical based than being entirely theoretical.
