Candidate who have passed HSC i.e., 10+2 in any one of the Vocational Subject (Basic Mechanical Engineering/ Basic Electrical Engineering/ Basic Electronics Engineering/ Basic Civil Engineering/ Basic Automobile Engineering/ Textile Technology) with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with above mentioned minimum average percentage put together are also eligible to apply.

Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognized institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile.

Awesome campus for college life.
Placements: They will give placement training from 3rd year so that the students could learn what the industry is expecting from the candidates. Lots of seminars are conducted to enhance the students knowledge in a particular field. Placement for mechanical students are very low.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really awesome and one major advantage is that the college is in the heart of the Chennai City and therefore there will be no problem for transportation. The Wi-Fi speed was competitively low. Food quality for the hostellers are really great.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified. Now they are expecting the teachers to complete Ph.D. The curriculum was a little bit outdated since they are affiliated to Anna University. Teachers will be very helpful to guide you regarding any issues that you face in your life.

Review of Loyola - ICAM College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Most of the students in our department chose to pursue higher studies in our class. More than 80% of the students who opted for placements got placed in reputed companies like TCS, BNP, Paribas, etc. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Almost 80% of the students did internships, and a few also got stipends.
Infrastructure: We have well-equipped labs with intelligent systems, etc. Facilitated classrooms are available. We have a good library with a plethora of books with which we can enhance our knowledge. Our college provides international exposure as we have a tie-up with ICAM, a French University. Students are provided with a chance to do projects in ICAM, in their second year. When it comes to sports, we have always done a great job, and we have never failed to secure ranks. Good industrial exposure is also a guarantee.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are PhD holders, and our staff have always helped us when it comes to academics, projects and extra and co-curricular activities. They have helped us to turn out into a complete personality. They have a good knowledge of the subjects and will give their best to ensure that every single person understood the concepts so that they can be ready to meet the industrial needs. Additional classes are also be conducted if students find the concept to be difficult for them to understand.
Other: We have various clubs, and enrolling ourselves in these clubs helped us to develop ourselves and learn about leadership, comradeship, etc. We have Engenia and sports day, and it will be fun. Our college is located in a strategic location, and it provides a chance for us to access a lot of necessities.

It is a good college for engineering.
Placements: Almost everyone who opted placement has placed in good MNCs with a decent salary package. The lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA, the highest salary package offered was 8 LPA and the average salary package offered was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Infosys, CTS, TCS and Wipro. Very few students had the opportunity of getting an internship.
Infrastructure: The college provided a good infrastructure with all the equipment required for students. Our college had excellent facilities like a good number of classrooms with projectors, and labs were also equipped with the required number of desktops and high-speed internet. The hostel was very secured, and food served in the mess and canteen was good.
Faculty: Professors here were helpful in all aspects like curricular and extracurricular activities, and we used to have a separate professor for each student to guide and mentor them. Professors were talented and had good knowledge of the subjects. The course curriculum needs to be upgraded.

Our college has good discipline, and it provides valuable knowledge for life.
Placements: The worst percentage of students from our course got placements. Out of 62 students from our department, only 15 students managed to get placement. Top recruiting companies like Tech Mahindra, L&T and Codingmart visit our campus for placements. Not even a single top role is offered until now for students.
Infrastructure: Facilities are available but not for students only for staff members because students will get destroyed by those facilities. The infrastructure available in our college is good enough. Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and library management are the worst because of management.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are qualified, but not knowledgeable enough to educate others. Their teaching quality is poor in all departments.
Other: The campus life is good.
