I'm satisfied with the amount paid. Fest should be organized.
Placements: Placement rates range from 60-80%. The salary package offered is 7.5 LPA. Top recruiters include IBM, TCS, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, Siemens, Tech Mahindra, and Capgemini. Almost all students secure internships after completing their theoretical courses, with opportunities at companies such as TCS, IBM, Infosys, Accenture, HCL, Caritor, Polaris, Wipro, L&T Infotech, and Satyam. Roles offered include positions in Data Science, Web Development, Software Development, and more.
Infrastructure: Our university offers good facilities and infrastructure. Labs are well-maintained. Classrooms are spacious. Library is pleasent. There are two hostels available such as Mahesh hostels and college hostels. College Hostels are clean and well-maintained. We can choose both AC and non-AC options based on preference. Food is also good. Mahesh hostels is also good. The rooms are shared by many people and the cost is lower. The food quality is bit bad. The canteen provides quality food at reasonable prices. Medical facilities are available. There is a hospital Sri Lalithambigai Medical College and Hospital near our college hostel for medical emergencies. Campus also has sports facilities, including basketball, volleyball, badminton, and more.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, always ready to clear our doubts. Teaching quality is good. Course curriculum is relevant and makes students to be industry-ready. The exam pattern is best provided by our university. Exam is for a 100 marks and the passing mark is 50.
Other: I am pursuing CSE with a focus on AI. Course has a collaboration with IBM faculty, who teach us. IBM also conducts a separate interview process for our batch. I chose this course because it is currently one of the leading fields. Fests are not conducted. They only focuses on studies.

My cousins graduated from this college.
Placements: Nearly 70% of the students will get placements every year. The highest package is 8-9 LPA and the lowest is 3-4 LPA. Coming to internships, it's our choice whether to do one or not, but the college provides internships from the 2nd year. Companies like IBM, Wipro, etc. are ready to take internships from our college.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the college are excellent. Yes, we have labs like Chemistry lab, Physics lab, Mechanical and Civil lab, Computer lab, a library, and 3 canteens, etc. Coming to hostel facilities, the college hostel is a bit better than the private hostels in terms of food, water, and neatness.
Faculty: Yes, the faculty members are very friendly and intellectual. They always help students whenever you approach them. The semester exams are okay, not too hard in the college. The pass percentage is 40. It's easy to get a B.Tech degree, but it's hard to get a job.
Other: My course is CSE & AI. I chose it because it has multi-facilities like Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, so we can manage the circumstances while searching for or getting a job. Scholarships are very much helpful in this college.

Good with maintenance and dissatisfied because of placements and staff.
Placements: The percentage of placements in your college is less than 30% and the highest package is 13 LPA and the average package is 3 LPA. There are no top recruiting companies for every course, no specific internships in our course and no top roles offered in our course .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is so beautiful and labs, library and classrooms are dissatisfied with staff and placements. The food is good and the medical facilities are excellent. There are no fests in college and they keep yearly, once-a-year games for the chairman's birthday .
Faculty: Not so strict. You can come and go anytime. There are no restrictions on that kind of stuff. No one is going to ask about attendance. As well as your studies. If you want to learn something, you have to do it on your own. The only thing you want to note is that you should not indulge in any problems. And for more details, check out other reviews .
Other: It was a great college. It got a reputation from their staff and teachers. I would surely recommend any newly joining student in any field to have a look at this college. Since it has been deemed necessary, a donation could be possible. But the environment of the college will mesmerize you with its amazing infrastructure. The students are quite well behaved.

Absolutely satisfied with college life at MGR.
Placements: I am a final-year student, and we are currently undergoing placement training. Placements will occur after this training. The top recruiters at our college include HCL, IBM, Infosys, etc. The highest package offered is 10 lakh per annum. Top roles include Software Engineer, Network Engineer, and Software Developer.
Infrastructure: As a Computer Science student, I can say that all the labs in our department have good infrastructure and are fully furnished, with air conditioning and fans. In the computer lab, the systems are all new models and easy to access, and Wi-Fi is available. As a day scholar, I am not familiar with the hostel facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and teach well within their subject domains. Three internal exams are conducted per semester, followed by the main semester exam. The minimum passing mark is 50 out of 100.
Other: I chose this course because I want to work in an IT company. The college conducts various events and fests, such as Onam and departmental functions.

Qualified faculty, relevant curriculum, manageable exams with high pass rates.
Placements: 30% were placed. The highest package was 25k, the average was 20k, and the lowest was 15k per month. Companies include Accenture, Cognizant, Hexaware, PeopleBox, and Microsoft. About 20% of students from my course got internships, but maximum internships are not happening. Roles offered include software developer, data scientist, and cloud engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available for students, but it is there for official use only. All department labs are available with good facilities, and classrooms are also good, but the library is not that great. Honestly, I am not staying in the hostel, but the food is good because it's based on our package.
Faculty: Generally, teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is often considered good, with a focus on effective practices. The curriculum is designed to be relevant and aims to make students industry-ready by incorporating practical and theoretical knowledge. The difficulty of semester exams varies, but they are generally manageable with proper preparation. The pass percentage is typically around 85-90%.

What is the fees of per year in b.tech CSE branch? How to get lateral entry to b.tech with diploma degree?

It is 100% right.There is no difference between latereal entry b.tech and vertical entry b.tech.If you take admission through vertical entry after higher secondary you have to persue four year B.tech course and if you take admission through lateral entry you have to persue three year B.tech course.
