College with day-by-day Enhancements

Placements: I belong to 2024 batch where only few companies visited our college and also we didn't get the exact job role for our course. It was still the traditional roles like Software Developer, Tester etc. When compared to previous year, this year the percentage of students placed was very much reduced due to company layoffs and recession. Companies like Ford, Renault Nissan, TCS, Accenture visited our campus this year.

Infrastructure: Our college facilities are limited, but now they have developed a lot in their infrastructure, resources etc. Canteen and mess food are acceptable in taste, quality and quantity. Classroom and Labs are in usable condition, and internet usage is also good.

Faculty: Still the traditional school lecture and session are being conducted, but for the newbie this year, they have enhanced their learning pattern and methodologies. Teachers are very much experienced and trained to assist students in many society related projects and also help, assist them in getting funds and support them.

Other: My choice of AI & Data Science is all because of my uncle, who is a Managing Director in Top MNC in USA. He advised me and mentored me, explained me concepts and ideologies what AI can do and what it is doing right now. Also I am interested in Data related work and so I opted this course.

Review of Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology.

Placements: Students got placed in our college with the lowest salary packages. Placements are very good for students who score above 7 CGPA. The highest salary package offered is around 16 LPA - 20 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The placement training is good. Our college provides excellent training for 7 days.

Infrastructure: Hostels are neat and good. The water facility is good. It is available 24X7 in hostels. The food served in the hostel is not good. The menu is the same for four years.

Faculty: Our teachers are good. They guide us in our studies.

Other: Our college provides many scholarship programs. If your cut-off is more than 190, you can study with 100% scholarships, which includes the hostel fee. Our college is not good in terms of infrastructure. Our college offers peaceful and friendly education.

I like this college very much.

Placements: Our college provides good placements every year with good salary packages from companies like Amazon, Zoho, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and so on. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA and the lowest salary package is 4 LPA. Many different roles are offered for our course like ML engineer, data analyst, data scientist, big data, AI engineer, and many more.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is compact and neat with a canteen and a playground. Free Wi-Fi is accessible for students which is very much useful for projects. Food quality and hygiene are acceptable at reasonable prices.

Faculty: Teachers are giving their best to teach the most relevant topics. Students gain many insights and can understand every concept with a unique example. Semester exams in our college are not that difficult. Students can pass easily but need to put more effort to score well.

Other: I chose this course because artificial intelligence and data science are the top trend courses in today's industry.

About Rajalakshmi Institute of technology.

Placements: Mostly above 90% students were placed and the remaining were with arrears. It's good college in terms of placement. I'm currently pursuing Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. It is an emerging field. Top companies recruit from this college.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure is there but the campus is small. There are great libraries and laboratories. Hostel is also pretty good. Food in the canteen and the mess is average. The entire campus has Wi-Fi facility with high-speed internet connection.

Faculty: The teaching quality is good and the teachers are very helpful. The course curriculum definitely makes students top quality graduate students. The course also makes us ready for the industry. Pass percentage is above 50% and if you're not able to clear the exams then you will be given special coaching classes.

Other: It is one of the top ranked colleges and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is one emerging field. It has a bright future.

It is a good college with good faculty members and good teaching.

Placements: Nearly 90% of students are getting placements with the highest package of 6 LPA and an average package of 3 LPA. HCL, TCS, Amazon, and others are the top recruiting companies on our campus for placements every year. During the sixth semester, almost all students will receive internship offers.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good with its facilities like good Wi-Fi connectivity, huge classrooms, and decent labs with many computers. Hostel and canteen food is of acceptable taste. The hostel is also good. We have two libraries with good maintenance.

Faculty: Teachers are good with the methodology of teaching that makes us understand the real concept of the subject and can enable us to acquire the required knowledge. Semester exams are quite easy as there will be regular internal exams and also model exams to prepare for semester exams in advance.

Other: I chose this course as the future will be full of automation and so this course is the right one to survive in our future. My ambition is to become a robotics scientist.
