The college was average for the batch of 2016.

Placements: Placements in our college are pretty good. CSE and IT branches get a lot of placement opportunities. But, branches such as EEE, ECE and MAE, where students are not taught coding, lack opportunities. If you get placed in MNCs such as Infosys or Accenture, it is good, else it is going to be tough to grab placements. You will be underpaid in companies such as Luminous.

Dissatisfied as 90% of every batch gets placed in mass recruiting companies.

Placements: The average salary package offered in this college is approximately 4 LPA. Major recruiters of this college are Accenture and Infosys. A lot of other companies also visit the campus, but they only hire a few students. However, they offer a tad higher package than the packages offered by the above two mentioned companies.

There is a lot of scope for improvement.

Placements: Placements in our college are average with the mean CTC of around 4 LPA. Only a few companies visited the college. The placement cell is moderately active and is not interactive enough. None of the students has got an internship as far as I can recall. All the students got an internship on their own, and the college had no role in it.

The college provides good infrastructure but poor placements.

Placements: Placements of MBA department are not good. The placement cell is not active. Only 4-5 companies visit our college. Out of 180 students, only 8 students got placed in their respective fields of the senior batch. The salary package offered by companies is very low. Students have to look for off-campus placements if they want a better salary package. Students have to look for the summer internships as well.

Please do not opt this college if you are looking for placements.

Placements: Placements in MAIT are very poor. Department's placement cell is of no use. Only 6-8 students got placed in the senior batch in their respective fields. Non of the students were offered a salary package up to the mark. The average salary package offered for MBA students is 2.5 LPA. If you take admission in this college, please do not expect on-campus placements.

Placements were quite good but other things were average.

Placements: Placements in our college were quite good. Almost all the students of my batch were placed. The highest salary offered was around 10 lacs per annum. Different roles were offered to students, and around 75-80% of students got internships from the college. There was no stipend offered during the internship period, and it was quite useful.

Don't expect much from the college, be independent to achieve your goals.

Placements: MAIT achieves 100% placement record every year for computer science and information technology branches. But, the placements of ECE, EEE and mechanical branches decrease. Nearly 40% of the ECE students got placed in the companies like Infosys, Accenture and Wipro. 20% of the EEE students got placed, but placements of the mechanical branch are the worst. Nearly 20-25 students get placed, every year, in Infosys mostly. Core companies rarely visit the college for ECE, EEE and mechanical branches. I...

Better, placement issues, no industrial exposure, theoretical not practical.

Placements: I am in the 3rd year of my course and will be graduated in the year 2020. But I can tell you about the placement of 2014-2018 batch. This batch gets the campus placement around 50-55%. Almost CSE and IT department has full placement while in case of MAE and EEE the placement is very low. There is only 1 or 2 core companies came for the latter branches. The highest package given will be around 10L annum while the lowest will be 3.5L annum. Infosys and Accenture are the two mass recruiter. While t...

MAIT is a quite average college, but will surely improve in future.

Placements: Placements are good. Everyone got placed through on-campus placements. If you are too smart, then you can easily get the package of 20-28 LPA in the placements. Otherwise, like every other IP University College, you will get an average package of 4-5 LPA. Mu Sigma gives the highest package. TCS and Accenture are the mass recruiters. There is hardly any electronic company visiting the campus. The college has a placement cell, and it is very efficient.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology.

Placements: The placements of this college are very good. Nearly 700 out of 1000 students got placed during campus drive while nearly 150 students got placed in a joint college placement drive. This year 15 lacs per annum is the highest package offered while 6 lacs per annum is the minimum and the average package was of 8 lacs per annum. Many reputed MNCs come here for placements, and students get their roles according to their branch. The college doesn't help students to get internships. Students have to m...

Infrastructure is good. Dissatisfied with some of the faculty. Placement is okay.

Placements: The placement is not that good, the number of companies that came for placement was very low which included Infosys, Accenture, TCS. Also only around 60 % students got placements. The average package was 3.5 Lacs per annum. There is a placement cell in the college. It is efficient as it guides us what to do, for the better placements.

I would give 2 out of 5 for MAE department.

Placements: The placement is very poor in MAE, but our teachers work very hard to improve our placements. There is a special department for placements which is working on it. I think it will be better after 1 or 2 years. I think core companies will also come in future. There is a disadvantage of MAE that there are some companies which do not take students of MAE through GATE.

The placements and infrastructure are good in the college

Placements: On an average, most of the students from my department were placed. There were no placements in the core electronics department. Mostly candidates with programming aptitude were able to get a job, and the rest with no knowledge of IT field joined the mass recruiters like Infosys, Accenture etc.

Not satisfied with the college.

Placements: Placement of the mechanical and automation engineering (MAE) branch was not much good. Less than ten companies arrived for placements. There is hard luck for 2017 batch. 20 to 30 students got placed, and most of them were in IT companies. There was a placement cell, and they recommended some students.

This college is a good choice if you don't get admission in national level institutions.

Placements: There is a placement cell in our college. Many companies visit here, but the majority of the students get placed in companies like Tata Consultancy Services and Accenture only. The average salary package offered is around 4-5 LPA. Reputed companies which visit here include Microsoft. You have to get internships on your own.

Placements: The placements offered were good. Around 60% of the students were placed through the campus recruitment. The highest package offered was 6 lacs per annum. The lowest salary offered was 1.18 lacs per annum. The companies like Capital IQ, BlackRock, Ameriprise, WNS, Info Edge, etc., visited our campus. The roles of sales, marketing, finance, and HR were offered.

Not so good placements for ECE/ mechanical students.

Placements: Only the IT companies come for ECE candidates. No semiconductor companies come to the college. Even IT companies come here for the mechanical students as well. The placement is not good. The college has not provided any internship and no stipend.

Best amongst all the colleges under IP university with good placement, faculty, and infrastructure.

Placements: Amongst all colleges under Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, it caters best placement prospects, but as its also a tier 3 college, thus, only all software, marketing, and consultancy MNC comes. The highest package offered was 18 lakhs per annum, and the average package was 4 lakhs per annum. The mass and major recruiters in the college are Infosys and Accenture.

An average private college but the placements are relatively good.

Placements: I did not have an opportunity to attend placement drive till now, but I have heard placement is very good for all branches except for the mechanical. Overall, 90% of the students got placed, who have no backlogs and are seeking jobs. However, there are some students who go for government jobs and higher studies.

Absolutely dissatisfied with poor placement and bad faculty for mechanical & automation department.

Placements: The placement for my batch was not up to the mark, the mechanical students were placed in the core IT sector companies. Usually, no core companies visit the college for the mechanical and the electrical department. The majority of the students were placed in either the Accenture or Infosys with a package of around Rs. 3.25 LPA which is not suitable after the 4 years of toiling in the core branches. On an average, the salary offered in the college (including all branches) is also not more than Rs...
