Placements: The placements were not too good for the mechanical and automation branch. Many companies that visited were non-core, IT or consultancy companies, i.e., Infosys, Accenture, etc. Anglo eastern came but hired none. Eaton hired one person but for the sales job. Indian army offered interview letters to 2 people, but none were called for SSB. Out of those who got the placements, 70% of them joined the companies while others pursued their higher education viz. MBA and M.tech and some started preparing...
Placements: The college, first of all, does not call companies for internships. The student has to do internship on his own with his own exposure, and by interaction with more people. The placements are guaranteed if you know programming and have good aptitude but the package the companies are providing is not high.
Placements: The placements are quite good in MAIT. At least in the IT branch, they get almost everybody placed. This year there has been a little decline in the placements as none of the mass recruiters given placements in bulk. But most of the IT students are placed. For branches like EEE/ECE/MAE, there is almost no core company that comes to the college for placements. Most of the students are placed in software companies. The biggest package this year was of ION Trading with a package of 12 LPA. The lowe...
Placements: Placement for electrical and electronics is least in the college. No core company visit the college. Students only have to go in some IT companies like Accenture and Infosys. Around 80-90 students get selection in these two companies out of 180. Rest students go for off-campus placements or any further studies.
Placements: There are almost zero companies for core branch. The placement is only from IT companies if you want to do the job. According to me, you are also not eligible for PSUs. If you want to do it, then take admission otherwise choose another branch. If you want to join IT, companies start doing programming at least after the second year. The placement is good for CSE and IT department and decent for ECE.
Placements: The placement cell is quite active and approaches many companies to come to the college. But the companies which visit are mostly small and unknown. Big companies do not offer any placement opportunities. And the salary package is very low. Placements are not as what we have expected from such a renowned college.
Placements: The placements are good only for CSE/IT branches. Even the core field students from MAE/EEE/ECE are placed in IT companies only. The batch strength has been increasing year by year and hence it is highly difficult to place the students. The lowest package is around 2 LPA, and highest has been 14-15 LPA, but the majority gets placed at 3-3.5 LPA.
Placements: For my branch, no core companies visit the campus. Mostly, you have to go and sit in the campus placements for CS/IT companies, and they too are keen in choosing guys related to their branches that is CS/IT. For ECE students, it is hard to get placed in those companies, same goes for EEE and MEC.
Placements: The least package is 3.25 lacs but opportunities are good and the maximum offered package is 12 lacs from Monotype. Companies ranging from Infosys (3.25 lacs) to Monotype (12 lacs) visited this college for recruitment but high-paying companies don't even select a single student because of the lack of talent in the students.
Placements: It has a variety of companies visiting. The last year's performance was better than this year's. This time, comparatively, the students placed were less. ZS, Infosys, Accenture, Mu Sigma and many more companies visited. Also, AMCAT test is conducted in the college which remains valid for one year. Individual companies take their own aptitude tests. Ernst and Young, Nagarro are a few more companies that hire.
Placements: The placement for the mechanical & automation branch in MAIT is very very low and null in core branches. Students get hopeless after not getting placed which is very shameful. The college shows many recruiters in its brochures and advertisements for the branch but everything is totally false.
Placements: The placements of the college are decent. Mass recruiters like Accenture and Infosys hire many students. Except for these, companies like EnY, Musigma, and ZS also come for hiring. The placement head of the college is also supportive. Accenture hires the most of the students in the college. Students just need to brush their aptitude and communication skills.
Placements: Placements in the college are almost good, especially for computer science. Around 45% got placed. The highest package is 10 lacs, the lowest package is 2.5 lacs and the average package is 5 lacs. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, IBM, Wipro, Mahindra and Mahindra, Indian Army etc. 10-25 % got the internship through the college and 10,000 to 15,000 was the stipend range offered.
Placements: The placement for the mechanical branch is very poor. There are no core mechanical companies visiting the campus. The only companies that place the students are mainly IT companies like Accenture, Infosys, Mu Sigma, etc. The percentage of students who got selected in IT companies from the mechanical branch is good, but if you were to leave your stream and join the IT company only, 4 years of mechanical engineering is a waste, so directly take admission in the IT branch. The placement of mechanic...
Placements: The placements were okay. This year almost 80% students have been placed, out of which 70% were placed in Infosys and Accenture. The remaining 10% were placed in companies like E&Y, ZS, Mu-sigma etc. Only one student got a package of 12.25 lacs CTC per year(highest package). The average salary offered was 3.5 lakhs CTC. Above 75% marks is required to sit for placements. No interns were hired from the college. I got an internship in babatrucks.com with a stipend of Rs. 8k per month. ...
Placements: The placement procedure of the college is good. Students are given ample of chances to get placed in different companies. Accenture and infosys are the mass recruiters, and majority of the students get placed in these two companies only. I really hope that more companies will visit the campus in the coming years.
It’s a good option if you don’t get into DTU or NSIT. Don’t go by the name of IP University. It’s a good college as the faculty is good. Some teachers are very friendly and some are not. The location of the college is not good as it has no place to hang out within 10 km radius. But the restaurant near the college is fine. Placements are fine for mechanical but are good for IT and CSE branch. Overall, it is a good college. I would rate it 7 out of 10.
Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology is a nice college. And is better than other IPU colleges for b. tech. I have spent 3 years in this college but can’t say if I had a good college life. Also, there is a lack of exposure and activities. But infrastructure is up to the mark. There are 9 blocks in which one is for the new batch of Engineering and 2 blocks of Management students. The two blocks for Management students come under MAIMS i.e. Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies. MAIM...
The placement is average. The campus is pathetic but the canteen is good. The Mechanical department has good faculty but the college authorities do not provide any support to the students. I did not like the annual festival at all. According to me, it is a money minded college.
I have studied electronics and communication from 2008-2012. Classes are not much interactive in nature. However in the labs, few classes are interesting. Microwave teachers are the best faculty in the college. Administration is not much effective. For placements, you have to be political, have friend within placement team. You have to be very much proactive for getting knowledge in your classes time. Regarding infrastructure, you can't expect much from small college. College’s grounds are shrin...
