The KEAM syllabus is published by CEE, and it is important to cover the syllabus and all the topics mentioned in it strategically. It is recommended to ensure that the candidates are thorough with the KEAM 2024 high-weightage chapters first. KEAM 2025 Chapter Wise Weightage: CEE will conduct the Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical Entrance Exam (KEAM) 2025 in June 2025, tentatively. The candidates preparing for the exam must strategically prepare for the KEAM CBT exam. The exam will have questions from Maths, Physics and Chemistry. The BTech aspirants have to appear for all three subjects whereas the BPharm aspirants have to appear for Physics and Chemistry papers. To be able to prepare for the exam strategically, candidates must highlight the important topics from the KEAM syllabus that carry maximum weightage and prepare those chapters with utmost care and dedication. Although to get a good rank in KEAM, candidates must cover the entire syllabus, however, some topics must be given extra dedication and time to prepare.

Q:   What is KEAM seat reservation policy?

A:

The percentage break-up of seats as per mandatory reservation is as follows:

  1. State Merit (some) - 60%
  2. Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) - 30%
  3. Ezhava (EZ) - 9%
  4. Muslim (MU) - 8%
  5. Other Backward Hindu (BH) - 3%
  6. Latin Catholic and Anglo Indian (LA) - 3%
  7. Dheevara and related communities (DV) - 2%
  8. Viswakarma and related communities (VK) - 2%
  9.  Kusavan and related communities (KN) - 1%

Q:   Is CEE office conducting Medical Entrance Examination?

A:
There is no state-level entrance examination for medical and architecture courses conducted by CEE. The KEAM entrance examination is conducted only for Engineering and B.Pharma courses. Allotment to Medical courses will be conducted based on the NEET (UG) Rank. Those candidates who wish to be considered for the allotment in Medical Courses in Kerala State shall be qualified in NEET. Likewise, if a candidate wants to be considered for allotment in the Architecture course, the qualification in NATA (National Aptitude Test) is required. Remember, all candidates who desire Engineering, Pharmacy, Medical and Architecture admission should apply for KEAM.

Q:   When will the authority open the KEAM login window to verify class 12 marks?

A:

The authority will open the KEAM login for submission/verification of class 12 marks online for those candidates who have qualified in KEAM . The dates for the same will be announced in due course. The KEAM rank list is prepared based on marks of qualifying exam marks and KEAM marks. The weightage of the qualifying exam marks and KEAM marks varies for rank lists PDF for Engineering, Architecture, B.Pharma MBBS / BDS / BHMS / BSMS / BUMS / Agriculture / Forestry / Veterinary / Co-operation & Banking / Climate Change & Environmental Science/ B.Tech Biotechnology (under KAU) / Fisheries and B.A. MS Equal weightage of 50:50 shall be given to the score obtained in the Entrance Examination for Engineering (Paper I & Paper II put together), and the grade/marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, after effecting the standardization procedure.

KEAM 2025 Syllabus

CEE revised the KEAM syllabus in 2024. The revised syllabus. Candidates will have to follow the revised syllabus to prepare for KEAM 2024. To get a higher rank in KEAM 2025, candidates are advised to not only prepare the high-weightage topics but all the topics mentioned in the KEAM syllabus.

KEAM 2025 will be conducted in computer-based test mode with a single paper, as opposed to the previous two-paper format. The entrance exam for engineering programs will comprise 150 questions, with 75 in Mathematics, 45 in Physics, and 30 in Chemistry. Candidates will have 180 minutes to complete the exam. For BPharm candidates appearing for KEAM 2025, the entrance exam will consist of 45 Physics and 30 Chemistry questions, to be completed within 90 minutes. Correct answers will be awarded four marks, while each incorrect answer will lead to a deduction of one mark.

Candidates can check the KEAM exam date on the official webssite, and the date on which the candidates have to appear for the exam will be mentioned on the KEAM admit card.

Q:   I can't login into the KEAM 2024 candidate profile. What should I do?

A:

May be it's under maintenance or you have forgotten your login credentials or some technical issue that is causing you to not login on the KEAN website. If you've forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" or "Reset Password" option on the KEAM login page, follow the mentioned instructions to reset your password.

Q:   How will I locate the KEAM exam centre allotted to me?

A:

The complete address of the KEAM exam centre will be available via the KEAM admit card. Candidates can use the given address to locate their KEAM exam center via google maps or they can visit the exam centre a few days before their KEAM exam date.
