Placements: The placements have been above average as of now. I won't say this college will make sure that you definitely get placed, but it will at least provide you ample opportunities to try your luck out. The only ray of hope is in the form of TCS. But don't get disheartened, a few people have managed to bag Accolite, Microsoft etc. The other recruiters include Keysight, Mindtree, Byju's etc.
Placements: The placement records are good in CSE, IT, ECE, EE branches and in case of core branches the data is very bad, only 5%-10% of the students get jobs. TCS is the only mass recruiter as always, but for instance, Microsoft, TVS, Hundyai (parts), Mind-Tree, Jonson and Control, Sirachi visit the college. One thing was common in these companies they just take 2-3 graduates from all streams. The highest package this year was around 13 LPA offered by an MNC, and 3 students got 9 LPA by Microsoft, and all...
Placements: There were no placements for the 2018 pass-out batch, only an assurance is given. Also, during the strike, the principal said in the news media that till the August, companies would come for the recruitment, but he failed to bring the core companies, there were Poor placements for the CE, ME, EE. I think that the college authorities have made a business deal with us. On an average, Rs. 45,000 is charged for the semester fees which is taken at the end, and nothing is given.
Placements: Netaji Subhash Engineering College is famous for its placements in the branches of CSE, IT and ECE but lags far behind when it comes to mechanical or civil engineering. More than 90% students were placed from CSE, IT and ECE branches from 2016 batch, and 15% from the CE and ME branch. But in 2017, it got lowered, and only 10% of the students out 120 from the core branches got placed. The mass recruiting company is TCS, and very few students got the opportunity for the internship. There is a usel...
Placements: The placements are good only in CSE, IT and ESC branch. Mostly 60% of the students got placed, but 50% of the students are placed through TCS Company, about 10 % students only placed in a good job about package 3-6 Lakhs annually. And for rest branch like mech, civil 1-2% students are placed. Max salary was about 6 Lakhs, and the minimum salary offered was 2-3lakhs.
Placements: The placement condition is very bad. Out of 140 students, only 6 got campus selection in the year 2016. It means only 5% of the students got placement, rest are jobless now or trying harder to get the job on our campus. Same condition for the civil engineering department. The highest salary offered here is 8 lakh annually, the average package is just 3 lakhs annually, and the minimum is 1 lakh per annum. Mostly TCS, Infosys, L&T, Godrej, are the companies which come to the college. Less than 10%...
Placements: Our seniors who got placed in the companies where the roles offered do not comply with their branch. This year, the companies offered the jobs in the field of marketing, salesman or teaching. The companies which visited the college for placements are Byjus, Zooper, Sarachi, Sanmark and TVS. They offered the package of around 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Hyundai took two students with a package of 5 LPA. Overall, only 12 students are placed from our stream.
Placements: The placement in contrast to the stream is useless. You study ECE for four years, and you will get a job in an IT firm. Amcat and Elitmus is your only way out if you are opting for a proper core job. The mass recruitment is only done by TCS and some by Capgemini. If you want better jobs, then try for Johnson controls, IXIA, Mindtree and so on.
Placements: In the recent years, the placement for CSE department has improved to a great extent. Product based companies like Microsoft, Aqua Lite, Johnson Controls, Thought Works, SAP, Persistent Systems etc. are visiting for the recruitment. Overall, the department achieves 50-80 % placement every year. In our batch(2013-2017), around 77 students got placed out of 145 students where 112 students were eligible for the placements. The average salary offered is 3.34 lacs per annum while the highest salary o...
Placements: You will get a job in IT consultant companies. Core companies rarely come. Previously, good companies like to come but nowadays, very poor companies come. But you will be provided with a good job in IT consultant companies with a good amount of payment and packages. It is all your call whether to take admission in this college or not.
Placements: I have not placed, and the placement has serious issues. The TPO is not up to the mark, and the college manages to bring only one company that is TCS where they mostly prefer IT, CSE and BCA students for the core department students. In case of summer internship programmes, the college is unable to provide internships to most of the students. We need serious attention from the management side to address these issues.
Placements: For all core branches, the placement is nil. No core company visited the campus in real. The only scope for every core branch student is TCS. But when it comes to the CSE department, the placement can be regarded as better than so many colleges. They have everything planned for CSE students but nothing for other branches. The placement cell is just a hoax. The TPO of college is just a dummy. He just has only one work that if any student go up to him and asks for NOC, he just asks him to be in th...
Placements: For ECE ,CSE & IT the placement was good... But for the core branch very very less placement. Tcs is the masss recruiter of the college.Other comanies also come very took very less number of student (1-10).For 2018 brach hod of the mechanical engineering branch bring one company which offers very less package (10k per salary month for one year.)
Placements: Overall, the placement is average. About (55-60)% of the students placed from all the departments but for CSE, IT and ECE the placement is quite good and as is about (70-80)%. TCS is the only mass recruiter in this college. For mechanical engineering, civil engineering and electrical engineering no core companies will come for placements. You have to sit for TCS and chance of your selection is very very low especially for ME and CE.
Placements: For the computer science department, the placements were good. We had at least 8 to 9 companies who had come for recruitment after our 6th semester. And l landed a job before starting my 4th year of engineering. TCS is the mass recruiter, apart from that my friends got placed in Infosys and Accenture. Internship opportunities are okay in this college. During our time, a company named Ixia came for hiring Interns, for very few were hired. By the time we completed our final semester, almost 95% of...
Placements: Placement at Netaji Subhash Engineering College is usually good for three streams, ECE, CSE and IT. Last time, a little over 65% of the students got placed from ECE. The situation is almost similar in CSE and IT. The scenario is not good for other streams. According to my knowledge, less than 45% students got placed from EE last year. Some placement is there from EIE and BME, although I cannot say what percentage. The situation in civil engineering and mechanical engineering is poor like the oth...
Placements: Placements were better for the senior batch and average for our batch. Around 60% students were placed in 2015. The highest salary offered was 3.9LPA, the lowest was 2.2LPA whereas the average was 3.2LPA. Major companies visited like TCS, IBM, Mind tree, Zycus, Teach for India, etc. One thing to be noted, none of the companies visited our college. We had to visit another college for interviews. Most of the campus selections were offered ITES profile and some of them offered associate developer p...
Placements: Placements are good in this college. Approx 90% student were placed last year. The highest package is 11 lakh and the average is about 3.6 lakh. Many companies visit this campus like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant Technology Solution, DELL India, HP, Microsoft India and Mindtree. Mainly the role of tester and developer were offered to the students by the company. When it comes to internships, its percentage is very low. Approx 20 students out of 140 got internships. ...
Placements: The situation of placements is very bad. We don't get any chance to sit for a placement interview in any core company. The college doesn't call any company who hires civil engineering freshers. In this year, the students of the 4th year got very angry as they didn't get any chance for placements other than TCS. If the college has admitted us as civil engineering students, then they should give us the chance so that we can build our career in the respective line. Rather than that, they are tell...
Placements: The college has a well-to-do placement scenario, with TCS being the bulk recruiter. Talking about the CSE batch this year, 80 students (out of 104 eligible candidates) got placed in TCS and other software companies, with an average package of around 3.6 LPA. There is a healthy off-campus scenario as well.
