Good placements and infrastructure with quality education.
Placements: At NIT this course offers decent placements with around 75% of students placed. The highest package was 10 LPA, the lowest 4 LPA, and the average was around 6.5 LPA. Top recruiters include L&T, TCS, and Atkins. About 50% secured internships. The top roles offered range from Traffic engineer to transportation analyst.
Infrastructure: NIT has top-notch infrastructure. The labs are well-equipped, the classroom modern, and the Wi-Fi is reliable. The library is resourceful. Hostel life is comfortable, with clean rooms, good food in the mess, and a canteen. The medical facilities are accessible, and the campus is vibrant with sports and games.
Faculty: The faculty at NIT Calicut is highly qualified and supportive/ Teaching quality is excellent, making the curriculum industry relevant and practical. Exams are challenging but fair, with a high pass percentage of about 75%. The course truly prepares you for the field.
