Don't expect to get great salaries if your branch is Non-CSE.

Placements: Placements for the senior batch as well as the current batch were above average. However, The placement percent only hovered around 60% since not many core companies came to the campus. Most of the jobs were related to IT sector and software, so CSE students had excellent placements compared to other branches, the average for CSE students is said to cross around 14 Lacs whereas for other branches, it will be around & Lacs only. Very less companies visited the college for internships so no partic...

Since it is autonomous students having less voice.Faccialties like king.they can do everything they

Placements: Those having CGPA above 6.5 are safe in placement. Almost everyone will get placement in ECE, case department having that CGPA. Most of the companies are software based, it is mandatory for every branches having basic knowledge in coding. There is huge chance for getting internship for CSE ECE branches.

Satisfied with the curriculum. A bit unsatisfied with the food this year.

Placements: For our batch we got only 3 companies for internship. Our seniors got 90% placed whose CG is above 6. The highest package is 22 Lacs and the lowest is 6 Lacs. The average placement package is 9+ Lacs. If the candidate is a good coder then he/she can get placed irrespective of the CG.

It is a good college definitely for CSE, ECE students. Other branches can decide.

Placements: Placements are almost 100% for Computer Science Branch. 80-90% of Electronics and Communication Engineering branch students gets placed. For Electrical and Mechanical percentage will be around 70. For civil it is very less, not atleast 20%. For chemical it is around 50%. Bio Tech, Engineering Physics and Production branches are also there. Placements for these branches are also very less. The highest LPA is 42 Lacs per annum (Adobe is the company) and the lowest is 4 LPA. Companies like Oracle M...

Must check- Review on National Institute of Technology Calicut.

Placements: Placements for CSE at nitc are quite good. The students above 65% ( CGPA of 7 and above) have 100% placement opportunity. Overall the placement statistics is 95% from the past 3 to 4 years. But the students who are expecting for high package (20lpa) it does't suits better. And this year the highest package is 39lpa offered by Adobe. And the average salary stands at 12lpa. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, oracle and more visited here during 2017-18. And the plac...

My college review NIT Calicut.

Placements: Placements for ECE and CSE were very good. For mech and EEE it was average. For other branches it was lesser in number. Also less core companies. Placement officer needs to change for that too. Also the one student one company policy must be changed as it reduces number of options.

A great campus with good infrastructure where every student can learn a lot of things.

Placements: Placements are pretty much good I n our campus and coming to branch during my term the percentage of placements for our branch is 98%. The overall college placement percentage is 85%. The highest average salary offered is 22 LPA and the lowest is 4.5 LPA when it comes to my branch. A great roller coaster ride.

Placements: The placements were above average for circuit branches and average for core branches and below average for branches like biotechnology and Engineering physics. Last year 71.42% of the student were placed and this year also we can expect a percentage near to the number. The highest salary offered was 27 Lacs and the lowest was 5 Lacs. A wonderful experience despite all shortcomings.

Placements: There is a dedicated placement cell. Placement for civil was low due to slowdown in the industry. There were several non-core (IT) companies as well. The highest salary offered were for non-core companies. Some prominent core companies such as LnT and Shobha Group also recruited form the college.

The placements are average, but the college is worthy.

Placements: The placements were okay, but numbers are lower every year. About 30 percent of students were placed from the civil engineering department. Departments like electronics, computer science etc., have more than 95 percent of the placements. The highest salary offered was 22 LPA (Lacs per annum), the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average salary was about 6.5 LaPA. NIT Calicut, a place to be.

Placements: The placements were not very good. The average package was around 5 LPA. Most of the companies offered roles in computer science, and roles offered for production engineers was low. Some big companies do come for placements for example Deloitte, Bajaj motors, etc. The college did not provide internships to the students.

NIT, Calict provides both enjoyment and knowledge.

Placements: The placements for the computer science department are pretty good compared to other branches. The students interested in internships are very less in number, but as it is mandatory, some students had to pay the company and get an internship, and some students got internships with stipends as well. The highest package offered in 2017 was around Rs. 27-30 LPA and the lowest package was around 3-4 LPA. A review about all you need to know about National Institute of Technology, Calicut.

Placements: The placements in computer science and electronics engineering branch are very good with at least 90% of the students getting placed each year with good CTC. Regarding other branches, the scenario is okay with few students getting placed in IT, few in core companies, but still, 50 percent of the students remain without a job at the end of placements season.

NIT Calicut is a right choice if you are willing to work in IT sector.

Placements: The placements are good if your CGPA is fine. You can expect an average salary of 7 Lacs per annum, and we got the highest salary of 40 Lacs per annum. So, be good at coding. The core placements are very few. So if you are interested in the information sector, then you can get the high packages.

Placements: In the year 2015, about 30% of the students got placed. In the previous year, about 57% of the students got placed. For civil engineering, the package offered was around 15 lakhs per annum. Larsen and Toubro companies visited our college for placements. Some of the students were placed in IOC. The placement department is very useful. More than 60 students do the internships in NCC and many other companies.

Core companies like HPCL, GAIL, Reliance, Vedanta Group, Philips Carbon Black visited our college. The students also got placed in non-core companies like ZS Associates, FIIT Jee, Seekers, Allen and few others as well. The maximum package was 10-11 LPA offered by GAIL and HPCL. Good placement with an average faculty members.

Placements: As the students think as if, some companies will come and simply hire you, this is not possible in the college. The placement depends upon the student's studies if you are good at the thing company wants then nobody will stop you from getting placed. The internship is provided by, only a few companies to the students.

It has an awesome crowd and gives extraordinary campus life for engineering.

Placements: The placements of this college are decent. A lot of software companies visit the college. The students must maintain a minimum of 6 GPA for getting a placement. For a better one above 7 is recommended and should have good knowledge of computer science concepts also. They should do well in the process also. Core companies also do come to the college for hiring.

Satisfied with the way the college supports the students in every aspect.

Placements: As we are the 3rd-year students, we don't have the placements now. Instead, we have many internship opportunities from the various reputed companies like Amazon, JP Morgan, Morgan-Stanley, etc., and each company took around 10 people exclusively of the CSE students. Regarding the placements of our senior batch, the average package was offered was 11 LPA, and the proud moment is that around 111 out of 130 students enrolled for the placements, where 105 students got placed.
