NIT Calicut Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Around 80-90% of students get placed, with the highest package being around 30 LPA and the lowest being around 7 LPA. Top companies like Texas Instruments and Goldman Sachs come for placements. So far, only 3-4 students have gotten internships from Texas and other companies. The roles offered were Software Engineer and others.

Placements: 98 percent of people are placed in 2024, and the average package is 12 LPA. The top recruitment company is Texas Instruments. 30 percent of them got internships, and the college is also good for other courses like Civil, Chemical, and Civil, which also have good placements.

Placements: I am pursuing computer science in B.Tech. at this college, and 100 percent of CSE students get placed. The highest package I know was 53 lakhs and lowest was 6 lakhs and the top recruitment company were Google, Microsoft, etc. The internships are a bit less compared to placements. Paytm and Ola offered internships.

Placements: Nearly 60% of students are placed in our college in different companies like Infosys, Matrimony, Tata, Uber, etc. The lowest package is 8 LPA, the average package is 24 LPA, and the highest package is 64 LPA. Top roles are offered to employees in these companies.

Placements: Placements are good. Big companies like Google, Amazon, etc. visit here. I'm not placed yet, but most of my seniors got placed. Internships are also provided in the Internship drive. The average package is 10 LPA. Placement and internships are orderly managed.

Placements: About 100 seats are available for the chemical engineering course on our campus. The highest salary package was 20 LPA and the average is 3 LPA. BPCL, Reliance, Axis Bank, etc. are the top recruiters. 80% of students who sat for the placements got placed. Chemical engineering students are not only recruited to core companies but also in software, management and teaching.

Placements: 93.12% of students are placed. The highest package is 38.04 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. The average package is 18.75 LPA. Top recruiters include TI, Oracle, AMD, Microsoft, etc. In the second year, getting an internship is hard as there is no on-campus internship available. However, some students have secured off-campus internships at ISRO, IITs, etc. These are mainly research internships.

Placements: About 70% students were placed from the Mechanical Department of NIT Calicut in the year 2024. Top companies like Tata, P&G, ISRO, Mahindra, Aditya Birla, BPCL, HPCL, etc. come for recruitments every year. The highest package offered was 20 LPA and the lowest was 7.5 LPA .

Placements: The placements at NIT Calicut are the best of any engineering college in Kerala. The total percentage of placements was around 85% and the percent of placements in EEE was around 94%, with the highest package being around 38 LPA. Internships and placements are offered to students by different companies, such as TVS Motors, Atlassian, Bosch, Texas Instruments, SAP, and Oracle Finance.

Placements: Even though I am a first-year B.Tech. student, I assure you that there is a high placement rate here. We have received multiple internship offers at the end of our first year (some of which include a stipend of up to 15,000), and our last-year placements in mechanical and overall were extraordinary.

It's very easy to get jobs and internships unless you have any backlogs. We have support from other NITs/IITs. One of my faculty advised me to apply for research in IIT-H as an internship.

The top salary package offered reaches up to INR 10LPA, with notable positions such as assistant manager, data analyst, and business development being highly sought after.

Placements: 98 percent of students were placed in the previous year, with an average package of 19 LPA. The campus has a good environment that supports the growth of students. The highest package is around 40 LPA. The college has crossed over 1000 placements and has shown a significant increase in the average package.

The roles offered are Electronics, Service, Communication, Embedded, Network engineers.

Placements: Students in their seventh semester are eligible to participate in the placement process at our college. Renowned companies such as Oracle, Bajaj, and DE Shaw have visited our campus, offering attractive opportunities. The highest package offered was approximately 60 Lacs, while the average package stands at around 12 Lacs. Placements: NIT Calicut has top-notch placements. The average package is 19 lacs, and the median package goes to 18 lacs. The total placement percentage is 98%. In NIT Calicut, computer science engineering has an average package of 22 lacs per annum and it is the highest one. There will be FAANG companies visiting our college every year .

Placements: Placements outcome depend on individual skill, with eligibility starting from the 5th semester. Many branches boasts a 100% placement record. The highest package offered is up to 50 LPA while the avg is around 12 LPA. The college offers some internships, or students can opt for opportunities with other companies. Internships paly a crucial role in facilitating future placements and providing valuable experience.

Placements: The ECE department witnesses over 90% of its students securing placements in various companies. Notably, the CSE departments securing placements rate, with the highest package reaching an impressive 50 LPA. Renowned companies such as Amazon, Oracle and Infosys are active recruiters. To be eligible for placements a CGPA of 6.5 is required.
