Good college with very qualified faculty members.
Placements: Since my course started the previous year, there is no placement record, but the overall placement is above 90% with an average of about 15 lacs. The highest package here is 83 Lacs by Atlassian for 7 students: 2 from CSE, 2 from ECE and 3 from the electrical department. Internships are good here; about 95 percent of students get internship opportunities here.
Infrastructure: The labs and lecture hall complex are good here. LHC has very good facilities, including soundproof walls, advanced projectors, and a sound system. It holds 120 students in a class and has three multipurpose rooms with very good facilities. Labs are good, not too advanced. Hostels are good; some have very good LAN connectivity. Wi-Fi facilities are available in first-year hostels, but the connection is slow. Mess food is not tasty but eatable. Night canteens are available in every hostel. Sports facilities are very good here.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful here; all teachers are Ph.D.s and very good at their subjects. Some teachers here are in the top 2% of world scientists. The course curriculum is relevant and moderately tough. There are two exams in a semester: mid- and end-semester exams. About 95 percent of students easily clear the exams. But for good marks, you need to work hard.
Other: I have chosen Computational mechanics here; it's new here, started form 2022. We are the second batch here. It's a mixture of computer science and mechanics; it contains courses in AI and ML with robotics, soft computing, and DSA. Many festivals are organised here. The main cultural festival is named Ojass, the teaching festival is named Ojass and the sports festival is known as Urja. About 300 students study here. The campus is surrounded by beautiful mountains. Fee waivers are given here for economically weak students. Full fee waivers (only tuition fees) are given to students with family yearly income less than 1 lacs and 2/3 remissions for students with family yearly income between 1 and 5 lacs.

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
