National Institute Of Technology Kurukshetra- A dream come true.

Placements: The placements were good enough and most of the students got placed. The highest package offered was 9 lacs per annum and the lowest package offered was 6 lacs per annum. Major companies such as Maruti Suzuki, Toyota etc visited the campus. Roles such as branch manager etc were offered to the students. Around 98% got the internship. Overall, good placement records.

NIT-KKR - Good infrastructure.

Placements: First of all, coming to internships, companies like Amazon, Fidelity, Microsoft, RBS etc. visited our college this year and offered stipends ranging from 15-50k per month. Generally, students who have good basics and an ample level of coding get hired. The roles offered were that of software development, sales, marketing and many more. But around 5-8% of the total students did an internship. Now coming to placements, in CS and IT branch, almost every student who has passed their course got place...

Really good infrastructure

Placements: The college had a good placement record last year. The highest package was 38 lakhs in computer science and the average package was 8-10 lakhs in computer science. In core branches, the average package was 5-7 lakhs and the highest package was 14 lakhs last year. Almost every student who is eligible gets placed during the college placement. Last year, some PSUs was also there for placements and at last, I want to say that the placement is good.

Very good infrastructure. Okay food and classrooms. Good faculty and green and peaceful environment.

Placements: Talking about placements, up to the month of March'17, 84 out of 100 eligible students (who have no supplementary) are placed. The average salary is around 5 lakh. The highest salary is offered by IOCL (12 lakh which will be increased to 16 lakh after 7thpay commission). The lowest package is 4 LPA. Around 30 companies visited the campus for mechanical engineering. Companies that have visited along with their CTC and number of student placed are- EXL ANALYTICS (6LPA,5), MARUTI SUZUKI (6.2LPA,4),...

I am well-satisfied with the college as well as with the faculty members.

Placements: The placements for the civil stream are not very good as compared to the CS and IT streams. Most of the students instead go for higher studies or for competitive exams like GATE, PSUs, IES, etc. The companies which visit the campus are: 1. L&T (Larsen and Toubro)(the package is around 5-6 lakhs), 2. Saint-Gobain, 3. Future First, and 4. Indraprastha Gas Agency( the highest package is 8 lakhs here). Some PSUs also visit the campus. My life's best place is my college.

Placements: I got placed in an NGO named Pradan from the campus placement with a good package and the best job. It was an easy task to get campus placements from NIT Kurukshetra. All the students will get the placement if they want it with some little focus on study. Govt PSUs and good MNCs come here for good placements. A large nnumber of companies visits the campus in a year.

Awesome campus with good placements in 2017-2018, improving infrastructure and sophisticated labs

Placements: Placements were not that good for our senior batch, but our batch there is an exponential increase in the number of companies visiting the college. My branch specifically 62 students are placed out of 86 eligible students for placements. For CS/IT there is 100% placement rate of eligible students. For electrical , it is 50 placed out of 88 eligible students. For mechanical/production it is 43 out of 80(eligible).Eligible here i mean people with no backlogs. The best NIT in northern India (after NIT Allahabad)

Placements: Placements for the computer field are the best in NIT Kurukshetra compared to the other northern NITs (except NIT Allahabad). Almost 90 percent of the batch got placed in various multinational companies and start-ups like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Adobe, Flipkart, Paytm, MakeMyTrip, Samsung etc. The companies offering the highest package were Directi, Codenation, Amazon and Google offering 25 LPA. The average package would be somewhere around 7-8.

NIT Kurukshetra is located in the centre of the city of Kurukshetra, Haryana. I got selected in AIEEE 2010 and got this college. This college is situated alongside the Kurukshetra University and covers a land of more than 300 acres. The infrastructure is very good and full of greenery and a very healthy environment. Being a govt. university and a deemed university, its fee is not much of a concern here. At my time we need to pay only 25K per semester and the mess charges were extra and around 2....

It was a good college. However, I heard that industrial engineering is a bad branch but in the end, at any college, it's on you to get the placements. I got 3 jobs at the end. A government college always has an edge over others. Feels lucky to be part of NIT-Kurukshetra. It has a very good faculty and a great atmosphere to study and hang around.

College seniors are really supportive but the college Professors are not very much supportive. They are sometimes really bad with you. However, you can get a much better guide in seniors. Study environment is actually very good. I always saw students studying late night. That inspires and motivation comes for the self-study.

Nice campus Wi-Fi enabled. Each & every books available in the library no need to buy it. Placement is quite good. After 1st year everyone will get single room in their respective allotted hostels. Mess food is average. But best part is that, you can order your food from khokhas(Dhaba ,fast food centers) late night as well till 4AM. Nearest Railway station is Kurukshetra Railway junction (4km. From campus). Every Department has there student society. Also institute has their student cultural act...

College IEM branch is not that much good reason is industry not giving value to that branch. Placement in college is good. Computer science branch is good with good placement.

I study in Electronics and Communication Branch. Classes are interactive in nature and are a healthy mix of formal lectures, case studies and presentations. The whole curriculum is designed to provide flexibility to students to choose among interdisciplinary subjects as per one’s personal interests and choices. You can't miss too many classes because attendance is very strict. Teachers are good. Students here are extremely friendly and try to enjoy their life to the maximum.

The campus is very huge, and combined with the campus of Kurukshetra University, spreads across the huge area of land. Faculty is highly educated with minimum qualifications as PhD for Sr. faculty, and M. Tech and PhD pursuing for Jr. Faculty. Placements are high with almost 200% placement record every year. All in all, a very good college for Mechanical and Computer Science branches.
