Good hostel facility and cool environment around the campus.

It is a second home. Students would never regret spending their college life here.
Placements: The average salary package offered here is around 8 LPA. Students get placed based on their performance and skills. Many students got placed in the IT and private sectors. Apart from the technical course, our institute provides masters and PhD courses in science and English.
Infrastructure: Administrative blocks are still in the process of complete development. However, our college uniqueness in presenting its bamboo classrooms and eco-friendly environment is amazing. The campus provides access to Wi-Fi for 24 hours. Hostels and the campuses are daily maintained. Our college has a gym, a football ground, a basketball court, volleyball and a badminton court.
Faculty: Teachers here are approachable and always ready to help students in need. Each teacher has a master or PhD degree in their field. Courses are well revised and taught in a way that every student can understand. Apart from courses, the practicals are taught, which make us prepared for life.
Other: There is a lot to learn apart from the books. The mechanical department has a huge variety of opportunities to choose from and work on it. Our college celebrates its annual fest named Ekarithin to show its unity in culture and diversity of the students from all over India.

Disappointed due to faculty, but the hostel and overall environment are good.
Placements: NIT Nagaland has seen a steady improvement in its placement statistics over the years. The placement rate typically ranges between 70% to 90%, with variations across different departments. The highest package is around INR 15-18 LPA, and the average package is around INR 4-6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are quite good, and the library, though not bigger, is also fine with some books related to their departments and space for studying. Coming to the hostel, it's very good—comfortable and secure accommodation, ideal for studying as well.
Faculty: The faculty is not that impressive; it's not completely bad but okay. Professors conduct classes, and Ph.D. scholars also teach some classes, but the teaching level is good. Exams are conducted very strictly; failing in regular semesters can lead to supplementary, arrear, and summer term exams to clear subjects.
