NIT Raipur Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: About 45% of the students got placed from our course. The average salary package offered in our course is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies here are Vedanta, TCS, ZS, Goldman Sachs, etc. Due to the Covid-19 situation, only 5-6 students got internships, among which 2 students got PPOs. Due to the Covid-19 situation, the placements of this college are below average.

Placements: About 32.15% of students got placed out of the students who are eligible for getting placements. The average salary package offered is 9.7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like ZS, TCS, Infosys, Tredence, etc., visit our college for our course placements. The placement statistics has been increasing over the passing years, and we expect to see a rise in this as the health sector is demanding more biomedical engineers.

Placements: Since very few core companies visit here for placement opportunities, and therefore, most of the students opt for non-core companies. The highest salary package offered here is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.25 LPA. The average salary package offered is about 2.5 LPA. Placements: In this course, in the previous year, 3 students got placed from the campus out of 15, but previous to that year, 7-8 students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 6-8 LPA. The top recruiting company is Vedanta. Placements: Our seniors got placed in the college. I don't know about the other branches, but our IT seniors said that the average salary package offered was up to 15 LPA. The highest salary package was more than 60 LPA, offered abroad. So if one works hard enough he/she can get a decent job offer.

Placements: Almost 90% of the batch got placed in reputed companies with good packages. The highest package offered in my batch was 21 LPA, and the lowest package was 5.5 LPA. The average package went around 9.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Barclays, Capgemini, Fiat, TATA, Adobe, Amazon, Samsung, Reliance, etc., to name a few. Internships were offered in BHEL, NTPC, SAIL, CSEB etc.

Placements: Placement of CS or IT students in NIT Raipur is pretty good. Almost 90-95% of the students eligible for placements get placed on-campus by the end of the placement process. Statistically speaking for 2019 batch 4 students of NIT Raipur got placed in Arcesium offering a CTC of 32 lpa.

Placements: In NIT Raipur, placements are good. More than 100 companies approach NIT Raipur for recruitments. In the year 2020, the average salary package offered is 9.5 LPA. Non-core branches are good from a placement point of view. The highest number of students from the CSE branch got placed in various companies like Amazon, Samsung, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.

Placements: The placements are not much good. If you are from CSE, then you can expect on-campus placements, but for other branches, there are very few placement opportunities. The average package offered is about 6-7 LPA. One of the students from CSE got placed off-campus with a package of 48 LPA.

Placements: I am pursuing B.Tech in electrical engineering from NIT Raipur. NIT Raipur is one of the best colleges among various NITs. NIT Raipur secured 67th NIRF ranking in 2020, and still, its ranking is improving year by year. Lots of companies come to the campus to recruit students, like Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys etc. Approximately 70-80 out of 100 students got placed in the core and non-core sectors. Placements: Every year 60 to 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 7-8 LPA. Some top recruiting companies are Reliance, Tata Steel, BARC, etc. Less than 50% of the students got internships. Top roles offered are a software development engineer, senior technical assistant, business analyst, etc.

Placements: Because of COVID, I can't tell about placements properly. For the EE branch, atleast 3-4 top companies visit our college to recruit students. As per the information given by seniors, about 70% of the students get good placements from college based on their CGPA. On average, students should score more than 8 CGPA to get good placements.

Placements: As metallurgical and materials science branch is one of the low-level branches in NIT Raipur, but its placements are better than other lower branches. The salary package offered in that branch is about 4 LPA-7 LPA. However, in CSE and IT branches, placements are really good. In the last year, i.e., in 2020, about 31 students out of 57 students got placements from the MME branch.

Placements: The placement scenario here is a lot better than any other college in CG but not as high as top NITs or IITs. In the previous year, only 40% of the students from the electrical engineering branch got placed with an average salary package of 7 LPA in IT companies. But placements were highly affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic this year.

Placements: The placements in biotech are not very good, but overall, the placements provided by the college are very appreciative. The highest package offered is above 20 LPA, while the lowest package is 4-5 LPA. The college provides internships as well, and a lot of companies come to hire the students.

Placements: The number of placements in our college, for our biomedical branch is very less as this is the emerging branch. I think the placements will be increased in the next few years. The highest package offered was 33 LPA, the lowest package offered was 6.5 LPA, and the average package was 9.6 LPA. Placements: The placement statistics of our college for biotechnology is a bit poor, unfortunately. But many students also don't sit for placement tests as they aim for higher studies. Off the ones who appear, many go for coding based jobs. Average packages aren't good, to be honest, and mostly, service-based companies recruit students from our department. Placements: Placements in biomedical engineering in NIT Raipur are not much good, but you can explore a lot of things here. The highest salary package offered here is 11.30 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Many companies visit here to offer placements with good salary packages. For BME, chances of placements in core companies are low.

Placements: Placements are not a problem with all the departments. Our department has fewer opportunities regarding training, internship programs and placements. We need to get more exposed to get these opportunities.

Placements: Placements of civil and metallurgy are very bad. Computer science and electronics students get 100% placements. I don't suggest someone join our college if they want to get good placement. Knowledge and talent can be improved here, and we can enjoy life.
