Good infrastructure helps to find your area of interest.

Placements: The placements on the campus are good. No campus ever offers 100% placements, so it depends on how much you do in those four years. There are people on our campus, who got the packages of 75 LPA, 16 LPA, and 22 LPA. The companies visit with the good packages depends on how you able to do it. Not all get such placements, and some people don't even get placed, as already mentioned it depends on how much you do.

Fun + learn =NIT Raipur. Be loyal for your studies, do your study and homework continuously.

Placements: The placements offered was good. Lots of companies visit our college. The training and the placement department was good and helping. But for the placement, the student needs to do extra preparations. There are many companies comes for, eg. If you are interested in social work, then NGOs also visit. The most important thing about the placement is always be in touch with training and placement department and do your best.

NIT RAIPUR, highly recommendable institute for better future in field of academics and placements.

Placements: Being the Institute of national importance, it is obvious that the placements offered are good with an average package. For core branches like mechanical, civil, electrical and electronics many core companies visit our institute just because of the reputation of the college, hardworking, training, placement department, alumni and industrial references are key factors. For mechanical, top automobile companies like Maruti, Mahindra, Honda, Tata Motors and much more are the major recruiters. Many o...

The best faculty, the best placement and the best batch of 2017.

Placements: The Placement season for my batch was very good (55 got placed out of 67 eligible). The highest salary offered was 9 LPA and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. On an average, the salary package was 7 LPA. About 25 companies visited the college, including the core and non-core, for the mining branch. The names of such few companies are L&T construction, Adani, Vedanta, Coal India, MuSigma, Infosys, TCS, Heidelberg Cements, Prism Cements and many more. Absolutely satisfied with mining engineering in NIT Raipur.

Placements: The placement scenario is changing and increasing every year with more students placed and increased salary packages. Placements are like 50 students out of 70 in core jobs. Companies like CIL, Vedanta, Adani and other core companies hire the students. The highest package is 8 lpa and the average is 6 lpa. There is a chance for non-core jobs also.

Our college is currently the best engineering college of Chhattisgarh

Placements: The placements of our senior batches were quite good. Top chemical and petroleum-based companies picked our candidates. Most of them got a good job. The process of placement started from the start of the 7th semester. And many of the students got their desired companies. Apart from the core companies, a few companies of others departments also took our students and gave them a good package. Like software companies offered some good package to the students.

In my batch, approximately 70% students had been placed with an approx CTC of 6 lacs per annum. The highest salary was offered by CIL at 9 lacs per annum and lowest was by L&T with 3.6 lacs per annum. Many companies visited like L&T, CIL, HSCC, SPCL and much more. NIT is a brand and dream of students

Placements: NITs are considered as one of the best engineering platforms. Placements from this college are undoubtedly very good. Everyone was placed at the end of the 7th semester itself. All are given an equal opportunity to meet their requirements and they get and become satisfied.

Good placements and faculty.

Placements: Placement is good if we look at the scenario of the core branch. The average package is around 4.5 lakhs. Companies like L&T, Tata Motors, IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, Vedanta, etc. visit for placements. The placement is organised by the placement coordinators which are selected among the students. Being a college of 60 years old, it has a good reputation in the industrial scenario.

Placements: The placements here in NIT Raipur is different for different departments. It is 100% for IT and CS students & 50% for computer science. Electronics and electricals also have very good placements. Overall, the placement scenario in our college is improving year by year.

B.Tech in biotechnology. It is a newly developing branch in India and we learn about lifestyle.

Placements: Due to the good guidance of teachers and also by the placement and training department, we learn some techniques about getting placement. In our department, seniors were placed at Biocone and also got the internship. For other departments, many core companies visited for getting good and skilled persons.

Completely satisfied from environment of learning and thriving.

Placements: There is a training and placement department which is responsible for placements and internships and it has a good strength. Honestly speaking, there are no core companies for biomedical engineering which visit the campus, and if they do, there is only option for marketing, as no high-end medical technology is possessed by Indian companies. We have options of getting placed in the software sector and analytics. The students from our batch and seniors got placed in Mu Sigma (21 lacs for 3 years),...

Infrastructure was the worst thing of our college when I was there. But now I have seen the campus, it is very good. After the arrival of the new Director, the college has changed completely, everything got re-innovated except the faculty members. Students are brilliant, not the faculty members, some exceptions are of course present. If you want to learn, you can learn a lot but mostly from the students.
