Absolutely satisfied with the infrastructure and the faculty, with very good placements in 2019.

Placements: In the course of mechanical engineering, nearly 56 percent of students got placed. And also the highest package is also for the mechanical engineering student, a package of nearly 26 Lacs is the highest package. Top companies like NIT Srinagar also witnessed good internships record with the top recruiters like Escorts, BHEL, Bharat Electronics Ltd and Skoda visiting the campus.

It has a good campus. Placements are the best for CS and IT courses.

Placements: Currently, I am studying in the 2nd semester. I heard from seniors that placements are best for CSE than IT and then other branches. In the previous year, about 45% of students get placement in the electrical engineering course. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA. Some companies like Tata Projects, Infosys, and KEC visit the college with an average salary package of 7 LPA. An internship provided is also good.

Students from chemical engineering got placed in analytics companies like ZS Associates, Vedanta, etc., at an average salary package of 9 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Students get internships in North Western Railway, JDA, various states water boards, and steel companies in Hyderabad also.

I am satisfied because of good placement, approximately 80-85 percent got placed.

Placements: Approximately 80% of students got placed from my batch. The highest placement was 18lpa and average package was 6lpa. The staff is also very supportive. The quality of placement in our college was pretty good. Everyone gets placed in their interest of field. There were several companies that visited college for placement like samsung, infosys, ve data etc.

It has one of the most beautiful campuses in India, with a good academic curriculum.

Placements: Till now, about 25-30% of students get placed from the 2022 batch. It is a good number for a branch like civil engineering with one semester left. Some students get placed with a salary package of above 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 6-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like EIL, BHEL, Vedanta, L&T, BALCO, etc., visit our college to hire students from our course.

NIT Srinagar is the most beautiful NIT.

Placements: Placements are not much good like other NITs, which were founded around the same time as that of NIT Srinagar. However, considering the fact that all branches' students get placed from our batch, students even from metallurgy got placed. Placements are good from that perspective. The same applies that placements are good from every private engineering college in Jammu and Kashmir.

Our college is in the lap of mountains and Dal Lake.

Placements: The core branches like mechanical, civil and electrical do not have much to do in terms of placements. Most of the students get placed every year from the IT branches like CSE, IT, and E&C. In the year 2020, students get placed with a salary package of 19.5 LPA.

I will rate the college with 3.9 stars out of 5 stars considering all the possibilities.

Placements: CS, IT and ECE branches will have 80% placement rate here, but other branches like civil, CH, meta, ELE, including our branch, suffer to get placements. Core companies visit the campus, but this year they did not visit due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, in the future, there is always a possibility that core companies will visit the campus.
