NIT Srinagar Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Around 50% of the students in our college got placed. If the situation prevails to be normal as You all know, Srinagar is a highly sensitive place. Placements: The campus placement rate is around 33%, and off-campus will be more than 50%. Almost 20 students our of 60 get placed through college placements. The highest salary offered is 1.5 Lacs per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 54,000 per month. The top recruiting companies are Ircon, Tata Construction, L&T, Gamon India, with some PSU placements and more visiting companies. It provides data on the strength of materials. Placements: In computer science and engineering, there are almost 100% placements for eligible students. In 2018, the highest salary package offered is 28 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The average salary package offered is approximately 11 LPA. Almost 100% of the students from the CSE department got internships.

Placements: I am the student of batch 2018 of branch ECE. Placement in this college is quite well near about 75-80% student got placed. The highest package is about 28 Lacs/annum and the lowest package is about 5-6 Lacs/annum. Average package is about 7-8 Lacs/annum. Top recruiting companies are DRDO, BSNL, Jio Digital &NTPC and other PSU.90% of students get internship in various companies. Mostly student get internship in BSNL.

Placements: The placements of CSE branch is always 100% since 2011. Even the percentage of placed students during 2017 is 100% and many got double placements including me. The average salary was 6lpa with 4lpa as the lowest and 18lpa as the highest. Top recruiting companies were Capgemini and Sprinklr. Roles offered majorly was developer.

Placements: Now, at least 55% of students are placed, in senior batch, 70% of students are placed in IT and Computer Science. The lowest = 3.5 LPA the highest= 27 LPA campus visit companies = Infosys, Medlife, Mahinda Comviva, gravy, Wipro turbo, Amdogs, cipher research, Fourkites, virtues, most companies take interview in Chandigarh university. From college only around 14 studies got internship. stipend= 10 k To 25K placement cell is not effective.

Placements: The placement percentage of CS and IT branches is 100%, and the placement percentage of core branches is 70-80%. The placement percentage of the chemical and metallurgy branches is 40%. From 2017, the placement graph is increasing rapidly. I think in the coming years, placements will be very good. The average salary package offered is 5-6 LPA. This year, the highest salary package offered was 28 LPA. Some students also receive a salary package of 11 LPA.

Placements: CS and IT 100 percent placement. And in core branches like electrical, mechanical, civil, ECE placement is about 80-90 percent. And other branches like chemical, metallurgy have placement of about 40-50 percent. Overall average package is about 4-5 LPA. The highest package is 72 LPA by epic system. Placement graph will increase in coming year because of coming of new director and MOU signed with IIT DELHI AND IIT JAMMU. This year also one student got package of 28 LPA.

Placements: Upto 90% everyone will get the placement because it's a NIT. Upto 50% will get double placement. Compared to the normal engineering colleges it is a better college to get placements and compared to other NITS it's somewhat got less percentage in placements. But overall this college provides huge placements not only for toppers but average students and above average students also.

Placements: I got placed in an company with 20 Lacs per year and I am very happy with it. The lowest percentage toh be in that company is 67 persent. Birla company cameand many other came with work they want us to and we got excited that now we can buy ourselves home and other need.

Placements: Placement was very nice in my college. IT and CSE branch have more placement than other branch. Civil is also a good branch in my college in placement point of view. All over placements in every branch of my college is quite good than any other college.

Placements: Placements are above average at NIT Srinagar. Most of the MNCs visit NIT Srinagar and offers good packages and profiles to the students of NIT Srinagar. In 2015, the highest package was offered by Google (78 LPA). The overall placement is approximately 70 percentage and for CS/IT's 100 percentage.

Placements: With the arrival of new director in our college the conditions for placements are sure to increase. This year our college has welcomed highly respected companies such as Tata, Wipro, GAIL, Larsen and Turbo, Indian Oil, Mahindra, NTPC and many more. The highest package for this session till date is 24 Lacs.

Placements: Average 8 lacs, companies - infoysis, wipro 100% students placed in information technology. The companies took students with great packages. Some students were given good and high packages. The seniors were happy with packages. There were some off campus placements.

Placements: There are good placements in my college. Companies do visit my college frequently. Recently indian oils came with a package of 16 Lacs for civil engineering and picked various students. I was told by seniors there are better placements for electrical branch as compared to other branches. Package ranges between 8 Lacs to 45 Lacs. There is no internship cell at present in campus. Yes there is a placement cell and all students are directed for placement there.

Placements: NIT Srinagar has recently achieved a milestone record of more than 80% placements. Students of batch 2014 passing this year have recently got placed in various National and Multinational companies. Various companies like Infosys, LnT, HCL, NPTL, Dell, HCL, Panasonic, Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, Oracle, Wipro etc. visit the campus every year.

Placements: The placements have been increasing tremendously this year. With the coming of new director in college the things have take a change and expected to improve for the best in the coming years. The director has implemented many changes both for the faculty and students to make it easier transition of knowledge between professors and students.

Placements: The placement's in the college have been amazing. Companies like IBM, LTI, Infosys, IOCL, Samsung, Relaince JIO, WIPRO, Mahindra etc. Have come and offered the jobs in areas like systems engineer, software developer, power coders, business analysts and other branches with package ranging from 4.5 LPA -18 LPA.

Placements: Last two years placement record is very good. Hardworking students are getting good placement and good salary. I think the placement record will go up in the coming years. Many companies are visiting every year like wipro Indian oil corporation. Students are also getting good rank in GATE exam.

Placements: The placement is below average in the civil department, and in software branches, almost there are 90% placements. Also for mechanical about 80% of the students placed with the average package of 5-6 LPA. The software packages are in the range of 3-4 LPA and the civil engineering there are no placements, but we can seat in software companies.
