I am satisfied here but not fully because of insufficient facilities.

Placements: Here, placements of mechanical, computer science, electronics and communication, information technology are good but for other branches, it is below the average. Average placement is about 5 lakh per annum. Placement percentage of the above-mentioned branches is about 80%.

Very much satisfied because of good faculty and placements, really good infrastructure.

Placements: There were 100% placements for computer science & engineering from the last 4 years. 72 lakhs was the highest salary Offered and 3.5 lakhs was the lowest salary offered. Companies visited: - Samsung R&D, Sapient, Maruti, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Capgemini, Polaris, Infosys, Zomato and Yodle. Almost all the students got the internship.

Remote location, spectacular views, amazing moments and yet an engineering degree.

Placements: Placement in CS branch is probably the best in the college. In 2014 a student bagged 72 lpa on campus placement in the US. Companies related to IT and CS visit unlike other branches where companies visiting are few.

Satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placement percentage varied with the specialization. It was 100% for computer science and varied from 80-100% for streams altogether. Many Indian companies offered recruitment in the college for different specializations as mining companies, IT based companies and others. Internships are not offered by the college, it is an individual's part to go for training and internships.

A good college to learn and enjoy.

Placements: Placements here are good enough. It is roughly 80% here but the average package is nearly 3.5 LPA which is not much better but a student from here got package of 72 LPA in 2015. The main companies which recruits the students from here are Infosys, HPCL, TCS, Wipro, Samsung, etc. The roles offered by the companies are mainly in technical sector. Almost, 70% students got internships from the college.

Average placements, average infra and facilities, good teachers, poor campus life.

Placements: Well, talking of placements, NIT Srinagar has been awarded as the best technical institute in the north by ABP News because of its placements in the past. Branches like CS, IT, and ECE enjoy the best placements in the college. Every student from these branches passes the college with 2-3 job offers. Also, mechanical is called 'Royal Mechanical' in NIT Srinagar because of its outstanding placement. However, the past incidents on the campus as well as in the city have affected the placements adver...

I am still not able to explore this college completely. Seniors are good. There are some limitations as far as some labs are concerned but even that have become better now. Mess food is not good but the weather here (except June) is more than awesome. As far as placement is concerned, the scenario is same as other colleges like more placements in ECE. But still after graduating from this college, you can get placement easily.

NIT Srinagar is a good college if campus is taken isolated. It is located in capital of J&K. You are going to enjoy the beauty of Kashmir. Srinagar is a tourist place. Coming inside the campus, it isn't that great. The biggest problem is administration here ...which comprises of Kashmiri. Overall you should try for better NITs and this one is not that bad. Well, the college is present middle of the beautiful location. If I talk about an internal feature of college, the classrooms are good, seats...

My college was different from all the other colleges in this country in a sense that it was located amidst the magnificent scenic beauty of Kashmir. The college was established in 1960 and had witnessed the test of civil war and curfews in its history of more than 50 years. People usually do not prefer taking up this college for the fact that it is located in Kashmir however, they should know that it is one of the colleges with the most peaceful environment. Although the level of faculty members...

This is one of the oldest NITs established in 1960, with a faculty that is highly qualified and dedicated. Within the electrical faculty, most of them have studied from IITs and IIScs. The location is excellent and congenial especially. Female safety is not an issue. The hostels are not centrally air conditioned but they are manageable. Top PSUs come for the recruitments, and private sector exposure is not that much. The salaries are good if you stay in the top 25%.

The infrastructure of the college is awesome. NIT Srinagar is one of the most awesome campuses in India. The mechanical engineering branch of NIT Srinagar is much better. One student of CSE branch 2015 batch got placed in Epic Systems with a record package of $120000 that is approximately 72 lakhs INR, which is the highest package till date. The placement of CSE Branch of NIT Srinagar was 200% this year. NIT Srinagar has been recently awarded the best engineering institute in the north by AB...

My College NIT Srinagar is situated in Srinagar J&K. It has a beautiful campus and is placed along the Coast of Dal Lake. It is surrounded by beautiful mountains and provides an astonished and breath taking view. The faculty here is also good and the students are joyed to study here, as the teachers as well as the non-teaching staff is quite hospitable. The students get a lot of support to prove their mettle and also are satisfied to a great extent regarding their future.

NIT Srinagar is in top 5 beautiful college of India. Placement also is very good because it’s a brand of NIT. But main problem is the atmosphere of local area. Also staff of college is not good. All staff are local so they are in their attitude. Hostel and food facility is also not good.

NIT Srinagar is the brand name among all the NITS. It’s far better than all new NITS. It is one of the oldest REC College. I must say mechanical and civil are the best branches here. The placement of CS it ECE and Mechanical are fine. Nowadays placement of civil and electrical are bad but it’s the same scenario of all the college. Mess food is not that much good. Hostel life is good. What you will love about this college is the climate, nature, beauty of Srinagar. So you are going to enjoy the c...
