If you do not want CSE and mechanical, don't come to this college.

Placements: The highest package offered in core is 20 lacs per annum. The average package is around 12 LPA. BPCL, L&T, Tata motors, etc. are the top companies. Approximately, all the student get internships. At NITW, 90% students from mechanical were placed which is a good image for the college, and in CSE there is almost 100% placements rate.

Absolutely satisfied with the course.

Placements: NITW is the best place for good opportunities that enhance practical exposure and help in placements. Up to 76% of students are placed in big tech companies. The highest package is 26 Lacs, and the lowest package is 13 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Microsoft, and IBM.

NIT Warangal campus and infra are nice.

Placements: NIT Warangal is ranked number three among all NITS in India. It holds an NIRF ranking of twenty one among all colleges of India. The infrastructure is not satisfying. It has to improve a lot. The new director has made some good changes.

It is a great college with great facilities, but offline classes ruin everything.

Placements: Our course had almost 100% placements in the previous years. The average salary package offered is 20 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 40 LPA. Most of the major tech companies recruiting in India visit our college as it is a prestigious institution. An internship is also offered by many companies in software positions.

If you want a job, pick CS. College life is bad.

Placements: 98% of students got placed because this is a premier institute. The highest salary offered is 50 LPA. The average salary is 15 LPA. Microsoft, DE Shaw, Oracle, Qualcomm, etc., come here. 90% of students got internships. Software developer roles are offered.

The advantage of our college is students get placed easily with a decent salary package.

Placements: I think every year, 80% of students get placed with a decent salary package. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc., visit our campus for recruiting students every year. The highest salary package offered is around 40 LPA, the average salary package offered is around 12 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2-3 LPA.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the methodology of study.

Placements: Placements were good as compared to the senior batch that was passed out in 2018. Approximately 80% were placed after few were ineligible and few have opted out of placements. Roles that were offered were varied from Business analyst to sales manager, depending on the elective subject that were chosen. Companies like TCS, deloitte and factset were bulk recruiters of all. Also, cocubes, a third party provider has come up with off campus placement facility. Coming to internship, most of the studen...

Good Infrastructure but Poor placements for MBA.

Placements: Placements are very poor for our batch as well as our seniors. Around 38% of students were got placed in campus selections. 6.5 LPA is the highest, 3.6 LPA is the lowest and 4LPA is the average salary offered. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Axis Bank, Infinity research, FACTSET and Muthoot Fincorp are the visited companies. Roles offered are like ERP Consultant, Management Trainee, Asst Branch Manager, B.A. this respectively. No one got internships from our college side, all of us got from out of campus. ...

The merits and demerits of NITW.

Placements: The placements that are currently going on and for senior were comparatively better compared to other NIT's. Number of students placed is approximately 74% overall. The average package usually comes around to 6 Lacs for B.Tech. Coming to placement cell, I think they are effective however, they are not well managed for 2nd years and Freshers for internships and industrial experience. Overall, I would say that they still have better options for 3rd years and 4th years which in result helps them to...

NIT Warangal, you may like it or not.

Placements: Despite gearing for the good placements, I was sceptic about the placements, but NITW has an impressive amount of students going for impressive salary packages. About, 35-40 LPA is a general figure mooted for many, and as a result, if you have a good CGPA and a good CV, you can reach or even surpass it. Microsoft, Flipkart are regulars in recruitment on the campus. The varieties of companies coming are large and thus preferable for most of the students.

A review of NIT-Warangal in my opinion.

Placements: The placements for my seniors were pretty good. CS students got the maximum packages of high salaries varying from Rs. 10 LPA to Rs. 40 LPA. The lowest salary offered was around Rs. 3 LPA to Rs. 4 LPA. ECE and EEE availed the highest package offered. Mech, civil, biotech and chemistry barely get into any of the high salary packs.

There is an excellent return of the investment for an MBA graduates.

Placements: The placement for our senior batch was nice. Till now, only 25% of the students were placed. The highest package offered was Rs. 7.5 lakhs and the lowest was Rs. 5.5 lakhs per annum. The companies like the TCS, Tech Mahindra and agricultural companies also have visited our college which was for the MBA department.

A review from the time square.

Placements: The placements offered are good. The training and the placement team handles all the placements and internships. Each branch has three placement coordinators working with the TPO team. This is in the case of the fourth year. In the third year, the companies visit for hiring summer interns, who are awarded PPO's for a good performance. CSE branch has a 100% placement record for the past couple of years. Apart from CSE, EEE & ECE also boast of decent placement records. Civil placement records are ...

Good placements in 2016-17.

Placements: Compared to the previous year, EEE placements are not up to the mark, though software placements are quite good. Till now, 50 percent of the students got placed in our branch. Many good companies are still expected to come. Placement season is quite satisfying.

Pros The college has good drinking water, fast internet (BSNL Internet with 1GBPS LAN) and a campus-wide Wi-Fi facility. There are clean rooms and toilets (Cleaning of toilets and campus is carried out on daily basis). The college has good placements throughout the year. The crowd- Excellent people, there is no ragging and the most helpful seniors you will ever get. Placements are on par with IIT in the department of CSE, but other departments have very low placements. Cons: There is South ...

The hostel facilities are good. You can expect good placements in CSE and mechanical. but there is little hope for other branches. Sports facilities are not good at all. City wise, there are a few places to hang out. There is not much to do there too. Overall, I would rate the college a 2/5.
