College is good, and placements are also good. They provide sports facilities as well.
Placements: In our college, almost 96% of students are placed almost every year. The highest salary package offered was 41 LPA, the average salary package offered was 7 LPA. And the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top companies include Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, HP, Oracle, etc. Students start getting internships from the 5th semester in average companies. Roles offered include software engineer, web developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are decent, and each classrooms has Wi-Fi. Labs for the CSE department are good, with proper facilities. We have a library as well as a reference room for study. Hostel facilities are okay, and they provide us with mess, sports facilities, medical services, a gym, etc. Sports facilities include football, cricket, hockey, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and kabaddi.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, highly qualified, and have pursued their degrees from top IITs, NITs, etc. Course curriculum is relevant, and our college conducts two mid-sem exams followed by semester-end exams, which is good. Semester-end exams are a little bit on tougher side, and passing percentage is above 90%.
Other: Main reason I chose this course is because of CSE branch. Best thing is that the placements are good, and college provides us with a lot of opportunities to work with industry experts. One cultural fest, Anaadyanta, is conducted every year in May. Campus is green, and there are connectivity facilities like auto-rickshaws and buses.

Really good faculty but bad hostel.
Placements: We can expect 75% of placements with CSE and ECE branches. Here, the highest package is 52 LPA, the average is 8 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Recruiting companies like Infosys, Microsoft, and Wipro visit here. A good thing is that internships are compulsory during the 6th semester. There is good infrastructure too.
Infrastructure: The hostel is below average because there are no proper facilities like washing, and there are no attached bathrooms. In the hostel, you get disturbed completely due to noise; if you need a peaceful environment, you should stay in other hostels. They provide Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in academics, and they are well qualified. There is a good environment to study, as it is an autonomous institution. Exams are a little easy. Almost 95% of students pass; only those who completely neglect their studies fail. If we concentrate during exams, that would be enough.
Other: Here, CSE has very good placements, and I am also interested in CSE. Fests and events run often but can be a little crowded. They offer extracurricular activities too.

Dissatisfied with the college rules and placement.
Placements: Placement is not too good but not in the situation where the IT industry is facing so many ups and downs in recent times. At least students are getting placed right, but at the same time, this also hits in mind: "Is this really worth investing 15–18 lacs in total and getting placed in a company of 4-6 LPAs? .
Infrastructure: The college has been undergoing construction since the day it came. They took money from BE students and made the worst buildings for BE. Students only, the best building holders are architecture building and fashion students building.
Faculty: Exam patterns were the best in the year I joined this college but now they are getting worse. Also, the copy checking is very strict. Not a single professor is going to give you marks for something you have not done on your own. If you are joining NMIT, prepare yourself to work hard.

The truth of college that no one tells.
Placements: Yes, the placements are good but not so good this year; only 56 companies visited the college. And the highest package was 24 LPA only. Because of the recession, fewer people come to college. And 80% of the students are placed. There are students who are not placed in lower branches like civil, mechanical, and RTC.
Infrastructure: Yes, the infrastructure of the college and hostels is good and clean; they do construction regularly. And the class well maintained with cleanliness They have good Wi-Fi facilities. But in some courses, the attendance is very strict. You have to maintain 75% attendance strictly. They say 85 but they agree with 75 as well.
Faculty: The faculty are good and they teach very well. There are so many labs also for all branches. They give notes in pot form and pdf, which is very useful for clearing end-of-semester exams and MSEs. And exams are not that difficult; if you study well, you can clear. And teachers are high; they give marks. And there is particular mentor also assigned to particular students.
Other: Campus life is also good and fests are also nice. This year, Sachet Tandon came to our college.

The college life is a roller coaster.
Placements: The placement in the college is average. The majority of the companies are mass recruiters. Some companies pay good packages of up to 25 LPA. The average package is around 6 LPA and the package for CSE is around 7.5 LPA. The top recruiters are Nutanix, PhonePe, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is decent enough. The classes are well-equipped with projectors and Wi-Fi. The labs have fully functional, high-end computers and AC is also present in every lab. The hostel is also average. There are provisions for 2 sharing and 3 sharing in the hostels. The hostel fee is 80,000 per year.
Faculty: The faculty members here are very helpful and easy to get marks from. They are ready to help you in any situation. However, their way of teaching and methodologies are very boring and do not contain any interest in the class. The course is relevant but very vast. The semester exams are easy to pass but it is difficult to get a good CGPA.

KCET cut off is below 2000 ranking for computer science engg. It also depends upon the people choose for CS in our college. But the ranking has to be minimum for CS because NMIT has great reputation for CS since they provide 90% + campus placements and well equipped lecturers.

You are supposed to write an entrance exam to get admission in any college. And for CSE, the donation or fees will be based on the rank you get in the exam.
