Other: I am interested in electronics, so I chose this branch, particularly at NMIT, because there is a lot of training available for ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION branch students. Fest, cultural activities, competitions, and hackathons are common at NMIT. There is a techno fest in May called Anadyanta, which is the biggest techno fest in Bangalore.

The top recruiting companies at NMIT are Infosys, Wipro, Tata, HP, Sony, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and many more. Really good staff they are friendly, The infrastructure of the college is really good.
Placements: Placements in the college are really good, and the companies that visited for the campus placements are also top companies. The success ratio of the campus placements is extremely good. The companies which visited include both service-based and product-based with good CTC and good roles.
Infrastructure: The facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are pretty good, and the hostels are well-maintained. The food provided by the mess is really decent. During the festivals, the food provided is awesome with a traditional touch. The non-vegetarian food is good.
Faculty: The lecturers are well qualified and knowledgeable, but the curriculum is outdated as of now. The semester exams are medium. The pass percentage is 90. The question papers are prepared by the college faculty itself, and the correction will be done by the college faculty.
Other: Best thing about the course selection is because of well-qualified staff and lecturers, the events will happen once in a year.

NMIT: Seems good before you take a closer look.
Placements: The highest package offered in this course is 16 LPA for domestic and around 25 LPA for Japanese companies. Average package of NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Tech is around 5 LPA. Alpha semi conducts, cognizant and Wipro are few recent recruiters. There is no scope for on campus internships, only unpaid internships are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is very good but the infrastructure is okay. The classrooms are satisfactory and the library is good enough. 2 washing machines are available in the hostel and the food in the mess is satisfactory most of the days. The canteen is always an option. A medical centre is also there along with sports and games facilities available.
Faculty: No dependency on the teachers is the best part. They follow the same routine of old style teaching with PPT and documents. 3 mid semester exams are held which make our lives more hectic. The exams are of moderate difficulty level. The classes will waste your time and mid semester exams are an extra add on headache.

NITTE Meenakshi Institute Of Technology.
Placements: People from ECE usually get placed more in IT. The highest package is 41 LPA. The average package here is almost around 6-7 LPA. Many top recruiting companies come here. Students usually go outside campus to do their internship. Employee roles are usually offered more.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are too good, they help a lot and come forward to help us in everything. They also teach good and make us get into many different things. Every classroom has a projector and a green board. Quality of hostel is also good, food quality is also good.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, and yes, they are qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is okok. ECE is a relevant course, and it also makes students ready for industry. Semesters aren't different; it all depends on how we study and how we get prepared for the exams conducted.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to get into a good college, and somehow this college was also in the top 10 among all the colleges. I chose this course according to my rank I got in KCET. Anadyantha is the fest which happens every May of the year. Extracurricular activities usually take place here regularly.
