Good learning opportunities with a well-balanced mix of highly qualified faculty.

Placements: The placement scenario is started by mid-September, as every year. This time around, a streamlined placement process was in place and was tried to be made as transparent as possible. The mix of profiles was quite reasonable, with a domination of sales and marketing profiles. There was also a flip side to it as a few students were still left to be placed. The compensation offered by various companies majorly lied between Rs.5- Rs.10 lakh PA.

Good college for MBA Pharmaceuticals amongst the colleges offering the same course.

Placements: Most students got placed for both final placement and internship. It was a good experience as you get to see what happens in pharma companies in reality. All sorts of companies visited- big firms and small firms comprising of pharma companies, consultancy, media, etc.

Decent college but MBA Pharma is not worth investing.

Placements: Placement was not 100% for our senior batch. It was more or less 95%. Average salary that usually goes is 6-7 lacs, if the candidate is really good. Some of the companies visited were GSK, Alkem, Medulla, Curatio, Glenmark, Sunpharma. The roles that student usually get is sales. However, 100% students got placed in internships.

A good course to do after pharmacy.

Placements: The placements in NMIMS for pharmaceutical management were decent last year. 94% of the seniors got placed. The highest package was around 10 lacs and the lowest was 5.5 lacs. The average salary offered was 6.5 lacs. Most of the companies were pharmaceutical related and offered roles in marketing and sales. Other companies included consultancy and healthcare advertisement firms. For an internship, 100% of the students got placed. The highest stipend was 50k per month and the lowest was 5k per mo...

A good course to opt for if you specifically want pharma.

Placements: The placements last year did not cater to the 100% policy during finals. Even the average was not much appealing compared to the price which we pay. Even during summers, 3-4 students had to work in a zero stipend company, which was a let down for them. The college focusses on pharma and consultancy for placements.

MBA pharmaceutical management (NMIMS Mumbai): A course worth pursuing.

Placements: The college provides decent placements with the average package ranging from 7-8 lacs per annum. The majority of profiles offered is of sales and marketing (market research and advertising agencies, are some of the other profiles that are offered to the students). Most of the major pharmaceutical and medical device companies visit for placements. With the type of profiles and packages offered, it is a good place for fresh graduates to join, but not so much for candidates having a work experience...

Depletion in placements a concern for NMIMS pharma management.

Placements: Placements in pharma MBA were 100% till the last year but unfortunately this year, the placement was short of being 100% as 4 students from the final year remained unplaced. The highest package was 10 lakhs PA and the lowest went to 5 lakhs PA. The summer internship was also not a great success as 5 students had to finally join a not-so-renowned company with 0 stipend. The upcoming placement will be a great concern from now on as after the GST pharma industry is not that keen on increasing their...

Good placements in the year 2016-2017, best in class infrastructure and facilities, good faculty.

Placements: 100% of the students get placements at the end of the year. Most of the big pharmaceutical companies come for campus recruitment every year. The average package is 7-8 lakhs per annum. A few medical companies and consulting firms also come for recruitment every year. There are various profiles offered.

Satisfied with good curriculum and faculty. It has to still grow in terms of placements.

Placements: The placement of our batch was better than the senior batch with average package increasing by 10%. All the students got placed. The highest package was around 16 LPA and the lowest was 6 LPA. There was a blend of companies visiting from startups to big names.

NMIMS- One of the top colleges in Mumbai.

Placements: The placements were very good as 100% placements are there in the college. The senior and the junior batches also had 100% placements here and the average salary offered for our senior batch was 14 LPA. The average salary offered for my batch was 15LPA. Overall, I would say that the placements of the students were pretty good.

Classes at NMIMS, are based on case study methodology and are highly interactive in nature. Classes involve a high blend of case studies, presentations and formal lectures. Quizzes are conducted on a regular basis which can be both, planned as well as surprise in nature. Students are not given any handouts as such but most of the teachers share their presentations with them which are either uploaded or sent via emails. Equal weight-age are given to class participation, presentation, case study ...

Overall exposure is pretty good. Infrastructure wise it has left no stone unturned with best state of the art technologies. Some faculty members are really well trained and have a specialized understanding of the subject. The biggest disadvantage is that there is no provision for hostel from college side. There is one but it has an additional fee structure other than 15 lac for just tuition fee. Also the batch strength is more than 500. So, one has to keep in mind the level of competition that h...

The new building is extravagant with a good library, canteen facilities, AV capabilities, and spacious classrooms. The faculty varies from the average to the excellent, so it is imperative to maintain a good GPA in the 1st year to get the faculty of choice in the final year. Final placements are great and huge marketing and finance brands visit the college for placements. The only missing cog in the wheel is the absence on a residential course, which would have made the experience complete.

It is one of the top 10 institutes for an MBA degree in India at present and has maintained this position throughout the last 20 plus years. The course structure and delivery are decent enough when compared to the other college of the same strata however there's a major scope for improvements when compared to the likes of IIMs. It is very necessary for an MBA institute to have a hostel campus for students to work as a team and interact with each other more. Unavailability of a sports complex are...

Infrastructure, professors, and the crowd are very good. The new canteen has really good food. The only thing that is negative is probably that it is quite expensive. Also, that exam are very theory oriented rather than having more practical experience. The syllabus is however up to date. Campus life is very good and is in a very good location. Placements are decent. The cells do some very good work. There are many opportunities to do a corporate project.

The college has a lot of advantages like a very experienced finance faculty, many good guest lecturers and the biggest advantage is the location being Mumbai. Some of the negatives are its high fees and lack of a residential campus. Earlier there used to be discrimination in placements among core MBA students and students from Capital Markets & Banking, but now it is no longer there as they have merged all the streams so now there is only core MBA and MBA in HR. The overall college life is a nic...

The best part of NMIMS is the batch diversity it offers. I doubt any other college offers such diversity. I met a wonderful bunch of people here and I am glad I have come across such people. The faculty is average but a lot comes down to how comfortable you are learning from your peers. No one will teach you as well as your peers. Infrastructure is great but can be leveraged a lot better in terms of teaching innovatively and with a bit more variety. What is missing in NM is a residential campu...

Situated in the heart of Mumbai, NMIMS has the great infrastructure that aids learning and personal development. Most of the learning in MBA happens outside of class and in this context students of NMIMS leverage the opportunities in Mumbai and cities nearby like Pune. The opportunities come in the form of case study competitions, seminars, fest and other management competitions. The faculty is also helpful and highly reputed. Placements have been soaring up despite an increase in batch streng...

The best part about KIIT University is the infrastructure. With more than 15 campuses, the campus has all the state-of-the-art facilities. Each branch of engineering has its separate campus and hostels. The hostel for the first years is the largest hostel in eastern India. Apart from the infrastructure, you can get excellent exposure to the latest teaching methods, attend seminars from industry experts, receive career guidance from dedicated placement cell, etc. The placement cell of KIIT Univer...
