Q:   Is B.E. / B.Tech at Nova College of Engineering and Technology worth the investment?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is B.E./B.Tech at Nova College of Engineering and Technology Worth the Investment?

Unfortunately, based on student reviews, Nova College of Engineering and Technology (NCET) does not seem to be a worthwhile investment. Here's why:

* Poor Placements: Most students reported almost zero placements, with a handful of companies visiting the campus, mostly for show. Many students left the college without getting placed.

* Unqualified and Unhelpful Faculty: Several students complained about the faculty being unqualified, inexperienced, and often absent from classes. This led to poor teaching quality and limited opportunities for students to ask questions or clarify doubts.

* Inadequate Infrastructure: Reviewers mentioned inadequate classrooms, laboratories, and recreational spaces. Even the hostel and canteen services received negative feedback.

* Lack of Relevant Curriculum: Students felt that the curriculum did not prepare them for industry demands, making it difficult to find employment after graduation.

* Overemphasis on Money: Unfortunately, several reviewers suggested that the college prioritized revenue over student welfare and education, leading to subpar facilities and resources.

While a few students praised certain aspects of NCET, such as the availability of some amenities, these positive comments were greatly outnumbered by the numerous criticisms.

Overall, based on the overwhelming consensus among students, Nova College of Engineering and Technology appears to fall short in terms of providing a quality education, adequate infrastructure, and suitable career prospects.

Recommendation: Prospective students may want to consider alternative institutions that offer a stronger reputation, better faculty, and more robust infrastructure to ensure a smoother transition into their careers.

Overall, our college is the best in my locality.
Placements: About 35% of the students in our course got placed. The salary offered to the students during the training period ranges between Rs. 18,000-28,000 per month. The salary offered to my seniors ranges between Rs. 35,000-45,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, Polaris and Autodesk visit our campus for placements. A top role offered in our course for students is an assistant engineer. The salary offered in our course ranges between Rs. 18,000-28,000 per month. About 48% of the students from our branch got an internship.
Infrastructure: The college is spread over almost 55 acres of land with full greenery and less pollution. The college also provides high-speed Wi-Fi facility, highly developed labs, a physical and digital library for students. The hostel and food provided by the college are excellent.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are well trained in both teaching skills and technical skills. They provide excellent coaching for students. They provide the best ways to survive in this world by providing industrial visits and training to almost all students.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like electrical engineering course, and it has more risk than other branches. I wish the college should provide industrial training with a span of at least 3 months in the final year. Cultural activities, tech fests, start-up ideas, etc., are conducted by our college faculty members.

If you want to join only in sports you can.
Placements: In Nova engineering colleges placements very less specifically electrical engineering they don't provide any placements to branches and also the way of teaching is also very bad the college is also very far from the city but it will be very peacefully.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure Is very good no doubt we can get attracted. Food is good. Laboratory also very small they all are spending their college with three thousand five hundred only. Only after paying for food the food will be provided.
Faculty: Faculty and course curriculum, they will provide less qualified professors.Explanation is also very poor they will give and explain class in English but they don't have that munch of knowledge about electrical engineering.
Other: Common every college provided fests and events.
