B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2017

I am dissatisfied with the college because of our studies.
Placements: There are around many students in every course. The highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 8,000 per month. An average salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. The college doesn't provide any internships.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't provide much better facilities in our department. Wi-Fi is available only for faculty and not for students. Labs don't have the correct equipment available, but the library is good and is up to mark. Classrooms are fine but not much. The hostel has the worst facilities and the food served is also the worst in the mess and canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and friendly with students. They are knowledgeable but not up to the mark which we can gain. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is not relevant, neither it makes students industry-ready. Before joining, please confirm about the college.
Other: I opted for the course because my parents told me to do this course. Everything in college needs to be changed and improved. Extracurricular activities also need to be improved a lot.

Our college should improve its teaching quality and maintenance of the college.
Placements: The college does not provide placements. Because of a lack of teachers and accessories, students do not get any knowledge about the current course they are studying. Even average companies do not visit our campus for placements. Top roles like site engineer and site supervisor are offered to the students. Students will only do an internship when they are doing mini and major projects.
Infrastructure: Nobody will come to college regularly, so there is no such use of the library. The college does no provide a good Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms are good, but somewhat broken benches are available in every class. Our college hostel fee is Rs. 2,100 per month. They will serve us sometimes good food and sometimes bad quality food.
Faculty: Some teachers in our college are good, but most of are them just B.Tech qualified. Our staff members will change every semester, and sometimes even for every 3 months. As they are just B.Tech qualified they can't teach us in the way in we can understand. In my knowledge, I don't think they will complete the course curriculum in a given time.
Other: I have chosen this course because I was interested in mechanical engineering, but I got a seat in civil engineering in Diploma. I am happy that I got a civil course. There are so much to learn about civil engineering, and it's so interesting. I think management should teach us practical knowledge by taking us to some kind of places, where we can see the exact topic they are teaching to get a better understanding. I wish the college should remove waste matter which is not related to our course. Our college surroundings are very bad when compared to college surroundings. Management charge money from students and students should have to pay the money even when they don't want to pay.

This is very beautiful campus for peace and healthy environment.
Placements: No placements for civil students, and for other branches they offered some BPO companies and banking jobs. 54% of placements. There were good people who associate with the HR of the companies to bring placements every year. It is good to start their beautiful Career over here.
Infrastructure: Good faculty for the civil engineering department and good lab facility and also creative experience people working all over the college and good library every book is available for students for clarifying their doubts without any hesitation good campus.
Faculty: Excellent faculty offered for the department and good problem solving skills and also all are well and good experienced people. Will make the students much more relevant to solve the problem and to get creative ideas over the designs and for the future aspects.
Other: The course deals with the construction. It is very much gleeful to serve the country better by constructing beautiful designs and roads for the public.

I have realised that I'm the worst fellow by completing B.Tech in this college.
Placements: My batch was started in the year 2015 and ended in the year 2019, and there are no placements in my college. I made a big mistake to join in this college one of the worst colleges in Vijayawada.
Infrastructure: There is no laboratory facility available. The infrastructure of the college is good. Teachers are sincere than students as they will come daily to the class rather than students. I'm a day scholar, so I don't know about hostel and hostel food. There is no sports and games held at my college.
Faculty: The faculty don't know about engineering because they are the M.Tech students who are studying their master course along with juniors. They have to learn something than students. The course curriculum is not relevant.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in Civil Engineering. Development of India is possible by transforming the villages into cities by learning and implementing the basic of civil engineering in real life.

Other: It is located in outskirts of the city, it takes approximately 45 mins to reach my college from city. There is no 100% placements in my college. Some companies done camps but they are simply consultancies or BPO or data entries. Our college canteen is too small like a single bed room flat in side bed room. In class room infrastructure was half damaged, half not working electric items.
