Place where you can enjoy a great campus life.
Placements: Generally placement opportunities for civil engineering students is very low in our college. If you know coding or something then you can be placed. Main companies coming for placement are L&T, Tcs, etc. About 20-25% students have got placement from our senior batch. Placement of my batch will be this year. So there won't be much I can tell about it.
Infrastructure: Buildings are old. We can sometimes see dogs and cows roaming inside the buildings. Lab and equipments are below average. Most of the equipments are damaged or won't work. Has a good library. Hostel building (means hostel) condition is horrible. They are very old and the walls around the bathrooms is in near state of collapse. Hostel provides very good food. Canteen food is average. Our college has shown excellent performance in sports. We have won many gold medals in athletics events and has reached top among other colleges.
Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified professionals who have a lot of experience in their field. They easily explains each topic with real life examples. But some of them have bad attitude towards students with low grades. Exams are mostly difficult. Pass percentage is 56.17.
Other: NSS college have a beautiful campus. The techno-cultural event known as "Dyuksha" is held at our college. During the Dyuksha days, college will be live 24*7. It will be like a big festival.

Review of NSS College of Engineering.
Placements: The placements are provided but not for all branches. Some branches like CS get many placements. I chose civil, and only 1-2 companies come here. I recommend CSE for placements. 60% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. A huge library and very good canteen are available. But the mess is not available, so you will need to go outside. Sports and games are not much good, but games are conducted every 1-2 weeks.
Faculty: Students are made industry-ready. The pass percentage is 40%. The teaching quality is the best, and teachers are knowledgeable and well-educated. But the problem is faculty treat us like school students, which is disappointing. The civil faculty are very strict. Semester exams are moderate.

Dynamic campus life with limited industry exposure in civil engineering department.
Placements: NSS College of Engineering has a reputation for providing excellent placements for its students. However, the placement offers received for the department of civil engineering are much less compared to other departments. The highest package ever received was from Shobha, while the least would be from non-core placement offers from various companies. The college is not interested in offering internships, and students have to search for the time and facilities for internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure facilities at this college are quite average. Most of the equipment in the labs is either poorly working or not working at all, which makes it difficult for students to get accurate values. The hostel buildings are quite old, and there are fewer hostels for girls than for boys. The college has a total of four hostels: one for women and three for men. The majority of women have to find accommodation outside the college, and there is no support from the college even though they are not providing the required accommodation facilities for the students.
Faculty: NSS College of Engineering is a good college with satisfactory academics and results. The college also promotes extracurricular activities such as sports. The pass percentage of NSS College of Engineering is good, and the civil engineering department achieved 100% this year.

Our college has good placements, experienced and helpful faculty members, and seniors.
Placements: Almost 92% of students secured placements in our college. Students who are successful in maintaining a score of 60% and above with no back papers can easily secure a placement with the help of our placement cell. Civil engineering students have good CGPAs and pass percentages. Major industries visit our college for mass recruitment and our placement cell trains students for the industry.
Infrastructure: Civil engineering is one of the oldest courses in our college. The infrastructure, workshops, and labs are above average but they are the best that we can expect in a government college. Our college has a huge support for co-curricular activities. We also have a PHC near to our college for emergencies. We have all sorts of sports happening in our college and clubs.
Faculty: All teachers in our college are more than just qualified. They are research fellows who have a very in-depth understanding of subjects. They help us a lot in our academics. We have a pass percentage of 88% and more.
Other: NSSCE is one of the best campuses to experience. We do have our flagship, tech fest, Dyuksha, and arts festival Noopuram which is once in a lifetime opportunity.

It is a good college for B.Tech degree.
Placements: Many companies conduct interviews. They also conduct internships and workshops at our college. We get offers from good companies. Many students hold jobs in different companies. I hope I will get a placement with any of the companies before I pass out.
Infrastructure: There are six B.Tech courses, and all have proper facilities, good labs, and required seats. There is a neat, clean, and fully equipped laboratory. There are some advanced machines and new launches in technology. There is a new block for civil and other departments with good lighting and fans. Classrooms are spacious. They have the facility to connect to a projector. There are many systems in the CAD lab. Some labs and classrooms are air-conditioned. Hostels provide good quality food and a happy environment. There is a huge ground. Indoor games are also available. There is a good library facility.
Faculty: All teachers are good and knowledgeable. They all teach well. They try their best and are hard workers than students. They conduct all the activities, and 2 or 3 series of exams help to improve our knowledge. There are assignments and projects that we strictly want to do.
Other: I have a diploma in civil engineering. I wanted a B.Tech degree in civil engineering, so I chose this college. It is one of the better colleges in Kerala. All facilities are available. I didn't feel anything was wrong in our department. All done well. The campus is near Malambuzha dam, and the location is good. It is near a big rail facility.
