Great placement opportunities, good atmosphere .
Placements: This year, 82 seniors out of 140 students were placed in many companies through campus interviews. Alstom, Mega Power, L&T, TCS, Wipro, etc., are the major companies recruiting from our department, EEE. Around 3 Lacs per annum is the average salary package, which changes depending on the company.
Infrastructure: Every department gets its own laboratory facilities, department library, and a common central library. Laboratories were equipped and well-maintained. The only drawback is that some lab roofs are made of metal sheets, so in summer, it is very difficult to work there. The temperature rises up to 45 degrees in Palakkad during summer. The college has a common canteen, ladies and men's hostels, and separate hostels for freshers and seniors. The food and accommodation are decent.
Faculty: Teachers and other staff are mostly friendly and try to finish the portion on time. Yes, they make efforts for us. During a semester, the internal marks are calculated based on our performance in internal tests, attendance, tutorials, and assignments. Internal marks are calculated out of 50 marks.
Other: Dyuksha and Noopuram are the main technical and arts events conducted on the campus once every 2 years. Other celebrations like Onam, Christmas, and Kerala Piravi are celebrated on a small scale in the campus auditorium.

Our college is well-equipped to make its students industry ready.
Placements: More than 85% of students are placed. The highest package is about 25 LPA, and the lowest is about 25 LPA. TCS, Alstom, Siemens, and Cognizant are the main recruiters. More than 50% of students get internships at major companies like KSEB and Hyundai. Students are placed as software engineers, sub-engineers, and engineers.
Infrastructure: Our college has excellent Wi-Fi in almost all buildings and great labs with all the equipment necessary for labs. Classrooms are spacious, and most classes are equipped with screens. The library is of high quality and has all the books available, including every textbook for reference. The mess canteen, medical facilities, and sports and games facilities are excellent.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant for the most part. The college does prepare students for the industry. Semester exams are moderately tough, with a pass percentage of more than 50%. Students who graduate from here are college-ready.
Other: I chose this course because it is a core course and has growing demand. Techfests and cultural fests are conducted annually.

One of the best for engineering.
Placements: Most of the students who pass all the semesters get placed here. Most of the recruits here are primarily from Bangalore-based companies. There are also many international companies recruiting here. In my course, many core companies recruit students, such as Keltron.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. The college is situated in a village area; you will face that type of difficulty while coming to the college. Bus facilities are minimal. The college has a well-aimed ground and a sports team. The college is much popular in sports activities.
Faculty: The faculties and teachers of the campus are sincere in their work, and they follow the KTU calendar. The KTU calendar seems to be a little challenging, but it is their duty to take classes according to that. Exams are easier than other boards, but if we study, we don't pass in the exams.
Other: I chose this course because of the demand for electric vehicles in the current scenario.

I am satisfied with the campus life.
Placements: About 80% of students got placed in tech companies. Some students went for higher studies. The average salary package offered by companies is 2.5 LPA. TCS, HCL, and Infosys visit our college. Our college provides internships for good students after the third year. It also provides good placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. All classrooms are average. Wi-Fi is not available for students. Labs are good but old. All hostels are good. Their costs are low. Sports are the best in our college. All workshops are good.
Faculty: Teachers help students. They are good. We have some guest lecturers. They don't have much knowledge. The teaching quality is average. The course and extra activities make us ready for the industry. Semester exams are difficult because of the KTU syllabus. It is not much vast. All questions are difficult. The pass percentage is 40%. We have to pass internal exams.
Other: Our college conducts sports meets. I chose this course because of my interest in it, and my ambition is to work at KSEB Kerala. The course is slightly difficult but very informative and good. The course should focus more on practical, which is required for the industry. Our college conducts many events. Scholarships are offered to merit students. Extracurricular activities are good. Our college surroundings are the best in the Palakkad district. Our college provides merit and management seats.
