MY College - Piet, Haryana.
Placements: Placement opportunities are very poor for almost every branch at PIET College. However, a few CSE students got good packages through on-campus drives. The college advertises fake placement ads all around. The highest package they claim to have provided is INR 42 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college is situated in an outer area, about 70 kilometers from the Delhi railway station. Despite its remote location, the college has a very good infrastructure. The classrooms are well-equipped and most of them have CCTV cameras. The labs are good, and the auditorium is larger than average. There is also a small garden on campus.
Faculty: The faculty are good but they change frequently. In fact, out of 30 faculty members, only 5 to 10 have been at PIET for more than 5 years. While the teaching is not impressive enough to be appreciated, the semester exams are very hard to clear. It seems that the exams are designed to make students fail.

I am dissatisfied with placements and exam results.
Placements: A very minimal number of students got placed in our batch, and that too was not in the core companies related to civil engineering work. The highest salary package offered was around 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 4 LPA. There was no company for our core branch.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in terms of infrastructure and hostel were decent. The Wi-Fi facility was available but not accessible by the students on the campus. The hostels were good. The canteen food was good. Mess food was above average. I did not have much experience with medical staff/services.
Faculty: Some of the staff was helpful, and the teaching quality was average. It doesn't make students industry-ready. Techniques taught in the course were outdated. The results of exams were quite unpredictable and the passing ratio was not that high. The pass percentage was 40%.
Other: It would be better to include more industry-related knowledge in the course. The events were organised very well. Extracurricular activities were fine and the crowd was below average.

The college is regretful and lacks placements.
Placements: Almost 40% of the students got placements in this field in this college. The highest salary package offered is around 6.64 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Land-Craft Developers, ICICI Prudential, ABSAS Solutions, Just Dial, Guntas Engineers & Architecture. Almost 75 to 80% of the students got an internship from companies like Ultratech, Birla, etc.
Infrastructure: Most of the facilities provided are average, but civil and mechanical fields have a below-average infrastructure and lack of field equipment. They also have poor Wi-Fi services, but classrooms are soundproof. Medical facilities are not good enough. Food in the canteen is sometimes old and serves mostly the same dishes on a genuine base. Instead of opting for the hostel, students can go for a PG nearby for much satisfaction.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, but they are unable to relate to practical knowledge. They left, and college management hires their own pass-out students to teach. It helps students to prepare a base for the external field, but still, it lacks practical knowledge or hands-on equipment, which leads to time-consuming activities.
Other: The best thing about the civil department or choosing this is lack of office work and more fieldwork applications. Better Wi-Fi services, good field equipment and the latest advancements must be included per batch so as to get aware of them too. Events are below-average. Students have to force or remind teachers to prepare or motivate them for extracurricular activities.

It is the best college in India.
Placements: Every year about 80% of the students from our course get placed in top reputed companies like Tata, L&T, Reliance Infrastructure, etc. Last year, one of our seniors got placed with a salary package of 8 LPA. The placement cell of our college PIET works efficiently to provide placements and internships to students in top reputed companies.
Infrastructure: In terms of facilities and infrastructure, our college provides automatic lecture and capture classrooms, and laboratories are well-equipped with modern technology and advanced equipment. The library is well-managed with books and Wi-Fi service, which makes the environment ease in learning. Hostels of our college are clean and provide world-class food in canteen and mess.
Faculty: Teachers in our course are well-qualified, helpful and well-knowledgeable. Their experience and teaching techniques make every student understand the topic with less effort. This course is relevant and makes every student ready for industry.
Other: Our country, i.e., Nepal, is a developing country where a lot of construction projects are carried out. I have chosen this course to serve our country as a civil engineer. I wish this course contains fieldwork along with the course curriculum to enhance the practical knowledge of every student. Every year a lot of events are conducted in our college like Mestroes, hackathon, etc.

Good Infrastructure but bad placements.
Placements: Few companies visit PIET ever year. Placement at this college is good for computer Science students but civil, mechanical students don't get that many opportunities. The highest package is around 10 LPA and the average package is around 3 LPA was offered. Overall, a lot of improvement is required.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are quite spacious with air conditioners. Labs are well-equipped and experiments take place on a regular basis. The college has a Volleyball court, basketball court, badminton court, open gym, cafeteria, a few small canteens, and a peaceful library.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, cooperative & supportive and are always ready to clear your doubts. They should focus more on practical teaching rather than theoretical. The course curriculum should be more rigorous in order to make students fit for industries or site work.
Other: Faculty of Civil Department is the best as compared to other departments. Fest and Fresher's party is quite well organized every year.
