Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Satisfied by the faculty members and placements.
Placements: HCL, MBIT, Bounteous, Wipro, ZOHO and more companies visited our college last year. 70-80% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 15LPA and the average was 4.5LPA last year. Internships will be provided to all the students in the pre-final year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the ECE department is good, but the overall college infrastructure is average. The devices used in labs will not be working sometimes. Library is good contains nearly 6000 books. In the hostel, nowadays, the food is good, and we can change the menu if we want. Canteen food is delicious at an affordable price but, the infrastructure in the canteen is not that much good.
Faculty: When compared to the overall department of the college, the ECE depth staff are knowledgeable and experienced faculty members, highly involved in students' perspective. If we work hard, we can score great grades, the difficult of exams is moderate, the pass percentage is 50%, and 40 marks for internals.
Other: The main advantage of choosing ECE course is, this is suitable for both core companies and IT companies. Many alumni meeting are conducted also GENESIS event is conducted by ECE depth four years ones. Home state students can get many scholarships.

Review of Pondicherry Engineering College - PEC.
Placements: Nearly 80% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 15 LPA (in 2022-23), and the lowest package is nearly 3 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. Qualcomm comes to the campus but recruits only CSE guys. Many students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my department (ECE) is good. The equipment in labs won't work, and even after complaining, nothing can be improved. Wi-Fi is very bad. You need to use a lantern (VPN) to access Wi-Fi. The classrooms and library are the best. Only BSNL works well in the hostel. Airtel works okay, and there is no signal for Jio in the hostel. The hostel infrastructure is very bad. Every day, you will have sambar, and it is very bad. After requesting many times, the menu has changed, but sambar is not removed. The food is not that good.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members in my department (ECE) are very good. Some faculty members aren't even bothered about other state students. They teach us only in Tamil. The curriculum is very good. Online exams were good, but offline exams are very tough.
Other: The fee for JoSAA candidates is high (1.5 lakhs per year). But CENTAC candidates (come after their 12th using 12th marks) pay Rs. 30,000 in the first year and Rs. 13,000 per year. Fests are conducted every year.

The college has a good infrastructure, and the placements are good.
Placements: Overall, 80% of students got placed in companies like HCL, MBIT, Capgemini, Bounteous, TVS, Wipro, HP, Zoho etc. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, and the average package is 4 LPA for all students. Internships are provided in the eighth semester with a good stipend.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi and library are good. Labs are not that much good. The equipment does not work well. But if we complain about anything, it will be sorted.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good. They explain everything clearly and in an understandable way. The curriculum is relevant. It definitely makes the students industry-ready. They conduct exams very strictly, and the passing percentage is 50%, 24 marks in internals and 26 out of 40 in externals.
Other: My department is ECE. I chose this course because the placements in ECE are good. Everyone will get placed. If your performance is good, you will get a minimum of 4 LPA. If you know coding, you will definitely get a good placement with around 12 LPA.

Absolutely happy because of faculty, good placements, really good infrastructure, etc.
Placements: 60-70% of students will be placed every year on campus. 14 LPA is the highest and 3.2 LPA is the lowest package. Joho and Qualcomm snapdragon are the top recruiters. 100% students get internship from so many companies like Joho, ibm, Google, Microsoft, etc. Asst. System engineer, backed developer, frontend developer, Java developer, etc. are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in both the colleges, i.e. campus and hostels. The facilities in labs are good. Every classroom has its own wall projector with desktop. The college library has more than 5000 books and anyone can study at any time. The college hostel is good and food in the hostel is excellent. I really like the food and structure of the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers in the college are very helpful. We can call the lecturers any time to clear doubts. The teachers are well qualified and well educated. Most of the lecturers are PhD. The teaching quality is also excellent and they teach in a practical way.
Other: I chose this course because the placement percentage in the college is good.

Our college is good in placements and faculty members.
Placements: Students in our college get placed. Our college provides good training and free time for students to improve themselves. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Equal Comm, Paypal, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi provided in our college is not good as it is buffering always. Labs are average and have generators. The library is below average because it is always crowded. Food served in the hostel is good for only a few days. A dispensary is available for a medical emergency. Sports provided in our college are not good.
Faculty: Many teachers in our college are knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester difficulty depends on students' preparation. The evaluation of exam papers is not good. Partiality is shown between students. Some teachers won't conduct classes regularly and just come for attendance.
Other: I chose this college because it provides more free time for an individual to improve and stay motivated.
