Review of Pune District Education Association's College of Engineering.
Placements: At the PDEA, almost 50-55% of students were getting placements in Computer Science. Our college had a special department for the placement process. The average package offered in this college for our course was 2-8 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our college were District Digital, Finastra, Truke, etc. Top roles offered were software developer, web developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has very good infrastructure. PDEA was providing the best quality facilities to the students. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, etc., were the facilities given to the students. Our college also had good quality sports and medical facilities on its campus.
Faculty: The faculty of PDEA was helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality offered in our college was excellent. Satisfied with the helpful faculty.
Placements: Nearly 50 percent of students get placed in college placements in my department. 12 LPA is the highest package and 4 LPA is the average package here. TCS, Infosys and Wipro are the top recruiting companies. 60 percent of students get internships from the courses. Junior developers, trainees, and programmers are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure and the hostel infrastructure are average. Labs and classrooms are good with the proper equipment. Hostels provide facilities like Wi-Fi, RO water, cleaners, and CCTV security. The hostel does not provide its own mess. There is a canteen in college, which is pretty decent.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They have pretty good knowledge about their subject. The teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. This course is designed by SPPU University. The difficult part of the course is not very difficult. We can pass the semester exams with 15 days of study.
Other: I chose the course because it is relevant to the industry. Things that are needed for improvement are that they should remove the old, unwanted topics from the course. Events are not very common on campus. Most of the students apply for MAHADBT scholarships from the government. The campus surrounding is not very developed.

Average College in Pune City Campus College.
Placements: The college has an average placement record compared to other colleges in Pune. The TPO section isn't as strong, and while computer engineering has good scope, the college lacks strong industry connections. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant visit for placements, but the offered packages are around 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure has limited facilities. Hostels are expensive and not affordable for middle-class students, leading many to live in rental accommodations. The college lacks a canteen or mess, so students have to go outside the campus for food. Classrooms and labs are average and not well-maintained.
Faculty: The faculty are newly appointed and lack experience in teaching. They are not well-versed in future possibilities for engineering careers in IT. They cover only about 75% of the syllabus and do not provide projects that are effective for performing well in semester exams. The teaching quality is average.
