Review of R.V. College of Engineering.
Placements: Placements are good. Around 80% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA, and the average is 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, Accenture, Infosys, and many more. Internships are not usually provided by companies. We have to search for them. Our course has specific roles like research analyst and further studies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, and hostel rooms are good. We have two computer labs, one food court, and one canteen, which provide good food. The mess food is not good. There is a gym, a badminton court, and a cricket ground. Indoor sports are also available. The medical facility is available 24X7.
Faculty: Faculty members are not supportive. Most of them are well qualified, but there is not enough time left to complete the syllabus. We are behind the schedule every time. Teachers never cover the entire syllabus, and they also don't provide proper notes. Semester exams are difficult.
Other: The college organises a fest once every two years. The course is good.

I am satisfied. There are many upcoming opportunities.
Placements: Our branch is new as compared to other branches but it is improving. Placements are less than in other branches, especially in the core but they are working on it so many seniors preferred to do a Masters abroad. Top recruitments are in Airbus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average for the Aerospace department as it is not in a very large space and few labs are good. The equipment didn't work in the structural mechanic's lab during our time. But the library and sports facilities are good. There is a canteen and a food court where you can enjoy yourself. The infrastructure of our college is good.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good but you cannot completely depend on professors. Few are exceptionally good but not all. Course curriculum is relevant and they keep it updated. Semester exams are not very tough but you need to work to get good marks. Referring to previous year question paper helps in exam preparation.
Other: The department will surely become better in coming years and college is good. There is a good atmosphere of learning and sports activities. There is a most special Antariksh club for aerospace students.

RVCE - A Tier 2 college in a Tier 1 city.
Placements: In my class, about 80% of the students were placed. Most of the students usually take up higher studies abroad. The top recruiting companies are Being and Airbus or maybe Tejas Aerosense, which has a total of 30 students. The top roles offered are in core companies for structures or aerodynamics.
Infrastructure: I would say RV College of Engineering has the best infrastructure for the aerospace department, as it contains 3 wind tunnels and other various machines in which we can simulate and learn about the course. The hostel is really good, as the rooms are well built, painted and spacious. But I wouldn't recommend the mess food, which is very bad and repetitive.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are qualified, whereas others look like they don't know what they are teaching about. Some teachers are so great and helpful that you love studying with them, whereas others still teach like school. The semester exams are not difficult at all. The pass percentage is very good in aerospace.
Other: I chose this course because I was always passionate about aerospace engineering and aerodynamics, which I always wanted to pursue. Of course, I wanted to study aerospace at IITs but after that, I think RVCE aerospace would be the best in the country.

Our college is the best in karnataka.
Placements: Placements are good. Last year the highest salary package offered was 53 LPA and the average salary package was 8 LPA but this year it increased to 10 LPA. Top companies like Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Accenture, Mindtree, Aairbus, and Cisco visit the college for placement every year.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good like Wi-Fi, library, digital library, labs, indoor stadium, canteen, toilets, drinking water, classrooms, parking area, hostel, etc. Hostel is good. The food at the mess is tasty and snacks are provided by the mess.
Faculty: Faculty is good and friendly, they help students to get in-depth knowledge in their respective branches, and almost faculty is achievers in their electives. They guide the students for better placements, higher studies, competitive exams, and future opportunities.
Other: The fest 8th mile is the best fest in Bengaluru. Campus life is good but academics is a bit hectic, but one can manage. The technical clubs are good.

Academics were little boring, but anyways no one will listen to those boring lectures.
Placements: Placements are so good according to previous year's batches. Placements are good enough to get a good salary package and everyone gets placed easily. Previous year experience of all the batches about placements was so good in RVCE compared to other colleges in Bangalore.
Infrastructure: In our 1st year when I joined hostel, the food was very good but nowadays, after covid, it's terrible to have lunch and dinner in hostel mess. I sincerely suggest anyone who wanted to join the hostel not to join hostel better to take PG rather staying in hostel.
Faculty: Although the curriculum is a bit hectic, it's good to know all teachers. Few teachers are friendly and approachable. Teachers are very friendly in nature but no one talks to anyone. It depends on the individual so I can't able to judge anyone in this college.

Even though RCVE is a very good institute, the placements of this branch follow their own path. Presently, the situation in India is such that there are very few opportunities for working in core area. As a result majority of the students go abroad for doing there MS or end up doing MBA in India. Si
