Review of Ramjas College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Ramjas placement cell is known as the pinnacle, and it helps many students every year to get jobs and internships of up to 8 lacs per annum. Students who get placed in my course are very few, but yes, in B.Com. and Math honors, there are many students who get 5 to 8 Lacs per annum placements. Top recruiting companies in which placements are done are Infotech, Google, Wipro, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, etc. The lowest packages are 3 Lacs per annum and the highest is 8 Lacs per annum. Internships in my course are a lot; anyone can join internships and can get a stipend up to 10k to 15k in Ramjas. Internship opportunities are very good in colleges of Delhi University.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college is very good; even fans facilities are there in every classroom, up to 5 to 6 ventilation is there. The libraries are very good in our college, fully furnished with every study material you want like notes, books, and previous year question papers as well. Classrooms are fully safe and clean and has maximum seat-to-seat and seats make you comfortable as well. Labs are there in Chemistry but no fans are there due to burning flames. But yes, soon AC will be there in every labs of chemistry, and you can make yourself free for summer in labs as well. All chemical are there with full safety measure. Canteen are good; you can sit there and have your food with full masti and food is also good at all. Hostels in Ramjas are good and our college takes 8,000 for hostel charges which include laundry, food, medical, etc. The hostel has beds, a study table, and an almirah.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in our college, and they are even more qualified and friendly. They solve our doubts on the spot and have doubt-solving sessions as well. You can ask any question anytime to any teacher, and they will solve that for you. Teachers are highly qualified, and the quality of teaching is also up to the mark. This course is a reality check for those who thought chemistry was an easy subject because we have to stand 4 hours without any break at labs with no fans, so you can understand the struggle of us. This course can make you ready for future scientists or researchers. Semester exams are the easiest exams I have seen. Just listen to your teachers carefully; they will guide you properly about PYQ and competitive questions as well.
Other: I have chosen this course because of my keen interest in Chemistry in class 12. The best thing about the course is their labs with proper analysis and teachers. AC in labs can make life easier for most of the students, including me. Events and festivals are huge in Ramjas College. The name of Ramjas Fest is Mosaic, which is conducted every year in March or April. Big celebrities and singers are invited. Campus crowd is best during whole season, like selection dusu and fests, Diwali, Navratri, etc. Scholarships are there for which you have to apply, and your previous year marks matter in it. Eca-like societies are there like dance, music, NCC, NSS, debating, etc.

Exploring Ramjas: the underrated DU college.
Placements: Ramjas does have a placement cell, and anybody enrolled in any course of college in his last semester can apply for placement. The placement ratio is above 90% with an average package of 5.6 lacs per annum, with the highest package being 19.25 lacs. My course doesn't get many placement as it's a research-based course. So, only pharma companies recruits us. While commerce students does get placed in various companies such as Zomato, Deloitte, D.E Shaw, PWC, etc. As for internships, science students get only experience-based internships from laboratories as assistants, while if you have skills, you can apply for off-campus internships. DU has a vice chancellor internship scheme in which any DU student can apply .
Infrastructure: My college does look extraordinary and prestigious. The infrastructure is great for the new building. The college has Wi-Fi, but it doesn't work too well. We have chemistry, physics, computer, botany, and zoology labs, and they are operating with all basic needs. Classrooms have projectors, but only a few faculty use them, and we don't have AC in the classroom. The library has all the required books and facilities, such as a water cooler, Wi-Fi, etc. I couldn't get admission in a hostel, so basically I don't know much about it as I couldn't clear the cutoff for hostel allotment, as basically there are very few rooms in hostels. The infrastructure of the hostel is old. College doesn't have a medical room but if a student gets injured, they are taken to basic first aid and to the nearest hospital. The sports department is very popular at our college, as there are many medalist alumni from our college. Games such as cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, chess, table tennis, etc. are available, and competitions are held occasionally.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified with PhDs and they do have a lot of experience in teaching. Some of the faculty members are new to teaching but they are supportive and friendly towards us. The college administration is lenient towards attendance criteria so basically, from students point of view, its good. As for exams, they are conducted after every semester based upon new education policy We have to study for 7 subjects at the beginning: 3 core and 4 electives. Every subject has an internal assessment test conducted by subject teachers and also a practical exam conducted by du in which an external teacher takes a viva. The level of the exam is moderate to hard, and most of the students do pass, but some get backlogs if a paper comes too hard. It's not difficult to pass in DU.
Other: I couldn't clear the cutoff for mathematics honors, so I had to choose it as a second preference. The course is research-based so you can get into research after doing Masters or become a professor after a PhD. The college canteen can be improved, as it kind of gives dhaba vibes for now and the infrastructure is really bad for canteen. Ramjas hold mosaic fest in late winters; we have dance, music, debate, fine arts, etc. Society to involve in social interaction and connect to new people.

Immense learning experience, great crowd and experience, placements are not a thing in this course.
Placements: The college provides placement through its placement cell, Pinnacle, but the placements are limited to the Commerce and Arts departments mainly. Internships are provided by teachers under their guidance, which are generally government-funded, providing great experience and better growth.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-built with projectors too. The labs are moderately good. They have modern equipment for practicals, but they are very limited in number. The library is renovated with good ventilation and has all the books required, enough seating space, and Wi-Fi. The hostels are very affordable and well-built, but seats are allotted to students based on their distance from the college, income, and category benefits. The canteen is hygienic and offers good-quality food at very affordable prices. The college has all the sports equipment, with newly reconstructed basketball and badminton courts and a football ground.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful and qualified with appropriate knowledge. The teaching quality was above average and, at times, excellent too. The curriculum is very detailed, covering all aspects of Chemistry, including Biochemistry. It provides you with all the basics for industry as well as a Master's degree. The semester exams were moderately hard. The objective is to pass in all the subjects. It follows a CGPA system.
Other: The course was very good, with the great advantage of covering all aspects of Chemistry, which is helpful in government exams as well as industrial research. The best thing was the laboratory experience, which provided good knowledge of all the practical aspects and was helpful for applying for jobs. The improvements should be in the number of equipment provided in labs for easier working conditions, saving time. The annual fest is a great festival with Bollywood singers as well as opportunities for college talents. The sports department is effective, providing opportunities for everyone to play through competitions like the inter-department sports meet.

College, it's staff, and environment were very good.
Placements: The course I chose didn't provide much percentage of students to be placed. After the master degree, many placement options are available. But many students got selected for internship programs after completion of degrees offered by top companies in top states.
Infrastructure: The college's all-teaching staff as well as the infrastructure were quite good. The chemistry department was made very well with spacious classrooms and modular labs with many lab equipments, but some of them need to be repaired as they weren't in good condition and limited in number as per the students.
Faculty: The environment of the college was very peaceful, and corridors were well shaped. Lots of trees and many beautiful parks were there with very attractive plants. Teachers, lab staff, guards, and library staff, as well as canteen workers, were also very helpful.
Other: The course I chose was Chemistry Hons, as I have a keen interest in this subject and want to become a teacher of the respective subject.

Ramjas Diaries: a place where knowledge resides.
Placements: The college didn't provide sufficient internships to the students. The placement percentage was not enough. Teachers did provide a few summer and winter internships. Also, one can easily approach a professor; they can help you review a research paper, which can add value to your resume.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are well built and spacious but require improvement. The canteen is good, but the seating arrangement is poor since there are not enough seats available. Labs do not have sufficient numbers of instruments, and some instruments do not work.
Faculty: I would say that teachers are more than qualified and experienced. Ramjas provides the best teaching faculty in Chemistry Hons. In the entire Delhi University and this best fits here. The teachers show interest in their subjects. The exams are not so tough; they are average. The course curriculum is completely relevant to the future options such as teaching, industry, etc.
Other: I chose this course because I love chemistry, and the best thing about this course is that the subject "chemistry" is itself a "key to the mystery.". It does not involve a linear concept; it involves a lot of critical thinking, which is essential for one's cognitive development. It is just like people around us reacting differently and not having a constant behavior, which makes this course the best. I don't think that any improvement is required in the particular course. It is well planned and designed. The college is well connected, has a good crowd, beautiful surroundings just like the lanes of a British road, provides enough interactive sessions with different people, organizes a number of contests and quizzes, and provides relevant certificates.

I thing Chandigarh University is best for MSC Chemistry. not only for studies but it is value for money and placement too. last year the highest L.P.A. was of 35L.p.a. So I think taking admission in CU is a kind of steal deal.
