A:

Hindu College admission to all the programmes is entrance-based. While the college accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its UG courses, such as BA, BSc and BCom, admission to all the postgraduate programmes is based on the scores obtained by students in the CUET- PG exam (starting admission 2023). The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG from 2022 onward and the CUET PG from the 2023 session onward. Before this, admission to UG was subject to merit scores obtained by the students in Class 12 and PG admission was mostly subject to DUET exam previously conducted by DU. However, the university still accepts ECA quota admissions.

Hindu College: A Dream of Many, A College Where You Get Most of Your Winner Skills.
Placements: Placement opportunities are very less in such colleges, you either go for Masters and prepare for exams like NET or before it, you can prepare for IIT JAM. You get access to some 3rd party internships, which come to your college groups; they may be paid or unpaid depending on your interests and field.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Hindu College is top-notch. We have two giant and well-made auditoriums, a very big sports complex with all the sports facilities such as cricket, volleyball, basketball, football, etc. The classrooms are very neat, clean, and air-conditioned. The boys' hostel is under construction, but the girls' hostel is very well made.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are well-educated, experienced, and great in teaching. They are well-trained. The teaching quality is the best in the university. The course curriculum is very relevant. If we look from the point of view of making a student ready, it is not that good a course. You should better go for honors courses. The semester exams are relatively very easy as compared to honors courses. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because of flexibility; you get to study Physics, Chemistry, and Math as core subjects, the same as we studied in class 12th. My course would have been better if it could provide placement opportunities. Events and fests of Hindu College are always the best in the university. The annual fest, Mecca, is the biggest fest of DU.

All the facts about Hindu college.
Placements: There are not many placements in the Chemistry department. If offered, it is only limited to a 25000 per month package. The roles offered are lab staff, like small jobs. But if you are going with commerce or economics, then for sure you will get placement if you score enough in exams. There is a placement cell in college to take care of it.
Infrastructure: Facilities are outstanding; the full department building have services. 50% of rooms have AC, labs are outstanding, and canteen food is little bit more expensive than outside, but quality is top priority. Classrooms are very good with new technology like AC and projectors in each class. Currently, there is no boys hostel in college; it is under construction, but soon it will be ready. Girls hostel is fully functional.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in every department. There are workshops happening in the physics department lab. Semester exams are, we can say, moderate; if you want to do your preparation in the last month, you can do it in the last month easily. It is easy to pass, but hard to score very well.
Other: I chose this course because of math. I got into this but after realizing that graduation-level math is quite higher than 12th grade, I am preparing for government jobs. So chose a course which is relevant to you and can be examined a little easily, so can prepare for my dream. Less hectic schedule is expected because it is so busy on some days of the week. We have to be in college, like 9–5 whole-day classes. College life is outstanding. There are many societies in college that you can go to if you are interested. Extra curricular activities are too much like in games, events, tournaments, etc. The college also offers scholarships given by our college alumni to economically challenged people.

Hindu College: The Glory of DU.
Placements: Placement in Hindu College is quite good. The median placement is 10 LPA, and the mean package is 12 LPA. The department that gets the maximum placement is the Commerce and Economics department. Other departments also get placements, but they need extracurricular activities on their CVs.
Infrastructure: The hostel in Hindu College is currently only for girls, with a capacity of around 400 people. The boys' hostel is currently under construction and is expected to open in 3 to 4 years. The fees for the girls' hostel are 55k per semester, which is quite decent.
Faculty: The faculty of Hindu College is very knowledgeable and intelligent. Teachers are very interactive and have a special bond with students. Most of the faculty members have graduated from IIT and other premier institutions. Every faculty member in Hindu College is quite good.
Other: The crowd in Hindu College is quite diverse. People from different backgrounds and domains share their knowledge and expertise.

The beauty and mystery of Hindu College.
Placements: B.Sc. Physical Sciences with Chemistry students don't really get placements and they didn't even try for ot as not so many companies are interested in them. But maximum package you can get from B.Sc. Prograis about 25,000 probably from chemist companies .
Infrastructure: The facilities at Hindu College are really outstanding and impressive. Infrastructure is also one of the best at the university, and it's getting better with each passing day. Unfortunately, Hindu College hostel has been closed since the pandemic lockdown in 2020 so I didn't get the chance to experience it .
Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful and professionals. Strict about teaching and takes tests and doubts regularly. Sometimes I find their behavior a little rude but it's alright otherwise. Semester exams are a bit difficult since the new education policy but students can pass by studying for one week.

An unforgettable chapter of my life.
Placements: Well, I am doing a Bachelor's in Science, and it doesn't have any placement, but those who are doing B.Com. or Eco honors have quite good chances of getting on-campus placement. For an internship, one can apply for the summer and winter Vice Chancellor internship scheme of two months with a stipend of ₹10,500 per month.
Infrastructure: From infrastructure to canteen food, everything is top-notch in Hindu College. Many events and speaker sessions are organized in auditoriums and amphitheaters. Proper labs are there, no hygiene issues in washrooms, and a well-organized library—everything is perfect.
Faculty: The best thing about Hindu College is the different faculty of different departments. As I have integrated with the Chemistry Department, they are super chill, have many years of experience, and are friendly and supportive. There are two semesters, each of 6 months in a year, so in three years, there are a total of six semesters.
Other: I chose B.Sc. because I am from a PCM background, and changing streams was not easy for me, and I wanted to prepare for competitive exams. My course is more about theoretical knowledge, not that much practical. Fest: Mecca is one of the biggest and most-awaited festivals on the North Campus, which is organized in April every year.
