Review of Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat.
Placements: Around 50% of students got placed in the previous batch. The highest salary package offered is 11 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Most of the students got placed in roles like R&D and analytical chemist. Some students cleared GATE and are pursuing a PhD from top IITs and NITs.
Infrastructure: There is one hostel for all girls named Mother Teresa Bhavan. The infrastructure of the hostel is very good. The mess food is very good. The mess provides a variety of food items daily. We have a night canteen, sports room, and medical facilities. The infrastructure of the M.Sc. department is under construction.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. This course is relevant. Exam papers are moderate to difficult. The passing mark for each paper is 27 marks, and achieving a total of 36 marks, including internal marks, is required to pass each subject.
Other: This course is relatively good for students who want to build their career in the chemistry field.

The infrastructure is very good, and its NIRF ranking is 47. I would give it 4 stars out of 5.
Placements: Most of them do code and companies allow everybody to come and show their skills. Almost 60% of the students get an average salary package of 8 LPA. Many students go towards civil services as you can see our college produces the youngest civil servants.
Infrastructure: We have 9 hostels, out of which 7 are allotted for boys and the rest two are for girls in which single and double seater are available. Good quality internet is also available and labs are newly established. A gym is also available. Our college has won many championships.
Faculty: The teaching style in our college is very unique and they provide you with good skills and knowledge. They also tell us about the startup courses. The curriculum is very relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not difficult and you can easily score above 7.5 CGPA. Teachers are qualified from IITs, IIMs, and other foreign institutions.
Other: You can become a professional teacher and do your coaching startups. Many types of scholarships are available.

Honest review for integrated applied chemistry branch in SVNIT.
Placements: So the College Placements are great for B.Tech Course since it's an NIT but for Integrated course it doesn't work much. In M.Sc. Chemistry there are barely any placement. Most of the students go for higher studies or placement off campus. But there are few companies that takes students from our course like asian paints, bayju, akash institute etc. Positions like chemist, chemical analyst are given. Regarding internship one cna get research internship in our course that too unpaid from IITs, IISC, DRDO, foreign internship etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is pretty good. All the departments are there with good facilities. And library is the best. It's newly made and one can easily spend time there reading books and studying. Hostels are also pretty good. Boys hostels are not that great but Girls hostel is great with all the facilities. Food is great and Wi-Fi is available in entire campus. You can SEE an average speed of 50 to 60 Mbps using LAN. There is gym, SAC ground for sports and games. And the best part is campus is so vast. Made in around 252 acre.
Faculty: Facilities are great as it's an NIT. All of them are super qualified for the job. And the new recruits are all IITian with experience. Teaching quality is also good if you try to focus in the class. About course curriculum so they have changed it since 2019 and made it more relevant to our course and industry ready. Semester exams are like any other college if you study even 1 or 2 hrs per day you will surely score above average because we all know that everyone start preparing just 2-3 weeks before the exams.
Other: So overall the college is great but for my course it isn't wonderful because of it's low placements. I choose this course because I wanted to join the teaching field and for that it's a good course. Things that would better our course are if they add more practical subjects and trach us skills compatible with industry jobs. There are a lot of events that take place throughout the year but the main event is SPARSH which is our college fest. And other events like Mindbend, MMNCT, all festival celebration also take place. College clubs are also there for all like of activities. For learning, participating in extra curricular programs. There are various scholarships that you can apply for fees remission for OBC, SC and ST candidate mostly.

Keep learning, keep growing!
Placements: The placement and internship opportunities in M.Sc. chemistry in SVNIT are fine. The students get placed in companies like byjus, Aakash etc. Some of the students also apply for the research based jobs according to their interest. If one has interest in coding or something then he or she may apply accordingly.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and the facilities available in this department are also fine. But talking about the internet facility available that is the Wi-Fi it is a bit poor in terms of its connectivity. The labs are there in the department itself. The club of this department organises many events live movie screening and even releases research papers.
Faculty: The teachers in the department are helpful and qualified. The teachers help in every sort of problem. The teaching qualities are fine and the teacher help students come up with new ideas that are out of the book world. The curriculum is relevant and the labs practicals are fine.

You won't feel like it's gonna be a long time.
Placements: The integrated department of chemistry in SVNIT is fine in terms of placement. Most of the companies that come for the on campus interviews are usually byjus, aakash, extramarks etc. They are actually recruit the students for the training purpose to become a lecturer or a professor. Internship opportunities are also there in this and one can apply off campus for internships based on coding, web designing, web development etc.
Infrastructure: There is a whole new department for integrated M.Sc. chemistry. Department comprises of Labs and classrooms along with seminar halls. The network connection in this is just fine not all the networks are available. The quality of hostel food in the maths is okay. It is actually better than the rest of the colleges but once you start eating that you feel like bored of it. There are other facilities also available like night canteen, some sports equipments are there and a first aid kit is also there.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They can make you learn the things you actually wish to learn. Teaching quality of department is fine. Teachers help you out in every aspect. They help you get internship opportunities, placement stats etc. Curriculum is quite relevant and it enables students to reach industry.
Other: This course has a separate quality, doing B.Sc. and then again attempting for M.Sc. is quite hectic thing, but doing M.Sc. in same college is quite a cool option. This place is really nice in terms of the people who come here every year. The seniors are really nice and help you always. The extra co-curricular activities also keep happening in the college along with events and fest that are organised by the student chapters, clubs, committees. Campus connectivity is good and the college resides in a very prime location.
